Hey y'all, sorry for trashing the new movie so dang badly,i know it's cruel of me and wasn't thinking of how I was either offending some and discouraging others! Sure,the idea of keeping the dukes alive is one thing,and seeing the general lee in action on the big screen is rather interesting,I just wish they would've had the right cast for the movie! They should have been actors that look a little like the original cast,at least then it would have been more acceptable to watch! Does anyone know who catherine bell is? Warner Bros is lowering the bar with this one. The producer, Bill Gerber, previously brought us the tender story of "BeerFest" along with the 2005 Emmy-rejected Dukes movie. One might think there's nowhere to go but up after having those on a resume'. Apparently WB thinks this is the right direction for Hazzard, and as a result the Dukes are really heading south. It's too soon to tell, but early leaks from the industry suggest that this new movie will not only suck, but will also swallow and choke. Either way it could leave a bad taste in yer mouth. The saving grace would be in the car stunts, but nothing orginal is likely to happen there with the 5 to 8 million…

After a call to Cooter's Place, and some research, I will go ahead and confirm to all of you that the Confederate Flag will not, I repeat WILL NOT be on the 68/69 Dodge Charger. It will have the 01, and the General Lee name, but NO flag. How yall like them apples? Kinda tart ain't they? Leaves a bad taste in my mouth to be quite honest. Well I saw the movie and loved it! I'm gonna try and see it again later this week. The girl I took liked it too and she's not country at all. Now the only thing I'm worried about is how much money it's gonna make cause lets face it, the only way we'll get a part two is if it does well at the box office. I went and saw it Friday night in Winter Park, FL, which is a very nice area in Orlando. Not a whole lot of people in that part of town that I thought would see this movie. There is very little news here about the filming. apparently very hush hush... But........ There is a building leased to HAZZARD US Productions here in South Central Louisiana. Lots of work happening inside. No closed windows.. Can see it all right now. Local news did article on upcoming historical home tour and said one home was selected to be on the movie the Dukes of Hazzard. So therefore, it wouldn't be available for the tour. So long as we're Christmas shoppin' for what we'd like in the new Dukes flick, lemme throw this one out there. Besides the '69 Charger starring as the General Lee, what other types of late-model cars or muscle cars would you want on the big screen? I remember that a Mustang was in the first reunion movie, and I enjoyed the fact that it was companionable to the General as far as age goes. (Anybody remember it, the "Double Zero?"
