Im going to visit some filming locations next weekend and I know the duke farm isnt looking so good i did hear a few years ago that a fan in alabama was thinking about buying and rebuilding the farm to how it was any news or updates on this ?

We are like Family here, talk about all sorts of things together, so why not have a specific Thread/forums dedicated to Birthdays of our home??? Hello everyone, I live in NJ & I have posted here & there on this site but have posted pix & more on a few other Dukes sites. I see alot of people that are on here & not on the other sites so I figured I share some shots of the progress. Ok just as a background these shots have been over the last 2 yrs and I am gettin closer & closer to painting it, well here goes. (you comments are welcomed). Here is my 69 yes its a 69 but its got a 70 clip on it as I traded the clip to a guy to restore my 68 Charger b4 I realized I wanted to do a General Lee.

An excellent suggestion by cousin Roger, was to start a new thread for the annual race this year! I thought...YES! That's an excellent suggestion! I'm going to smoke cousin Roger! No matter what he says! I've invented a new engine for the Moonshine mauler! It uses gas or shine equally well! I'll be communing with the spirits, while running the race and if I start running low on gas, instead of a pit stop, I'll save/make time, by pouring shine into the tank without having to hit pit road. Hi Everyone, We've got about 600 acres in the Blue Mountains of Eastern Oregon and I'm gathering up some "Hazzard Landmarks" to disperse around the property for fun.... and it's easier to give friends/family directions around the place using landmarks as a guide. Instead of, "remember where you were when we saw that huge elk" it would be handy to say, "you know, by the moonshine still" So far we've got our converted bus as the "Boars Nest". My friend has a vinyl cutting machine and I've made a design from scratch we're going to print out to put on it; Here's the decal we're going to make to put on it; Next we have a mock moonshine still, I whipped this up last weekend…

I've been taking a look at the number of posts we've got on record for everybody. I was just curious because MaryAnne had posted an announcement about trying to break the traffic laws - I mean, the traffic records, for number of users on the forums at one time. To do that though, poeple gotta have somethin' to read. I myself have been slacking off in the babble department. John and Tom chose to walk off the set for more memorabilia residuals which they admitted later was a mistake. The producers had two choices, either keep the show going and hope the ratings didn't fall too far and have the show cancelled or just simply shut the production down which would have almost guaranteed no more Dukes. Thanks goodness Coy and Vance kept the show going for another season!

Only about Dukes... Easy Game, I will post a word, and from that word, you take the last letter in it and make a new word related to the dukes. Example:...I say Duke...the person takes the last letter E in duke and makes another word, like Enos....the next one starts another word with S...and so on, hope this catches on. P.S. Here we go again folks. Another season of NASCRAP's marketing juggernaut to corporate America. This might be the last season that I actually want to watch the races. I am still in disbelief that a foreign car maker is about to enter the Cup series next year (2007). I under stand that is is putting the pressure on Cup teams to keep up with Toyota's money - which is the richest car maker in the world and they have TON's of money to throw around. The "Car Of Tomorrow" will go forward in 2007 also, drastically changing the way bodies and aero packages will affect the competition. Does anybody have any suggestions for our annual chat room Christmas party? I'll throw the first hook in the water. How about Saturday the 18th from 6-midnight? (EST) Since Christmas is on a Saturday this year it's impossible to get together on a weekend close to Christmas unless we try Sunday the 26th but a lot of folks are probably having family gatherings that night too.

I'm usually pretty open about my health. You guys know I've been sick for a while now (about 2 1/2 years). My doctors and I assumed it was my autoimmune disease because the symptoms were indicative of that. So, we've been treating it that way. I wasn't getting any better though. So, last December, I insisted that my GI doc do an endoscopy to check on some issues. Well, on March 13th, she informed me that one of the samples she had taken for biopsy turned out to be neuroendocrine cancer (the bad news). Turns out neuroendocrine cancer, which is rare, also has a lot of the same symptoms of my autoimmune disease. I saw an oncologist and he ordered a PET scan, which I fou…

Hi! I am new to HazzardNet, and I am a big fan of Dukes Of Hazzard. I have all 7 seasons and the two reunion movies all on DVD. I am going to try to tackle the huge task of making my own map of Hazzard County. I am not going in order of episodes, but skipping around to perhaps catch any inconsistencies . For my map I am including roads, water, landforms, villages/place names, landmarks, businesses, citizens, and farms with the proper land owners. One thing I am trying to drill into my brain are that counties are BIG. And that is going to be in my mind throughout this entire project. I know a few others here watch the Blue Collar TV with Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White and Larry the cable guy. But what I would like to know is...does anyone else find the sketches looking disturbingly familiar to family events?
