Alright everyone, didn't think I would let someone else start a Burt Reynolds movie topic and not begin with Smokey And The Bandit. This is one of the best Good Ol' Boy car chase / trucker movies that they have ever made. Great cast that worked so great together. Jerry Reed was awesome . Jackie Gleason was the picture of the perfect Texas lawman. Come on now let's here some GOOD things to say about my favorite movie. Darrell

Hey y'all. Anymore Christine book/movie fans here besides me?

AKA, "The Burt Reynolds in NASCAR" movie. It's a good flashback to the olden days of Winston Cup, complete with a slew of driver cameos (poor Cale Yarborough is reduced to working with a chimp!) and decent race footage. Gotta love that Chicken Pit slogan..."The Fastest Chicken in the South." But that's not even the best line in the movie: Charlie (the crew guy played by Alfie Wise): "What's so bad about second?" Stroker and Lugs: "SCREW SECOND!!"

Mine are : 1-Where The Red Fern Grows 2-Old Yeller 3-Crocodile Dundee 1, 2, & 3 4-Smokey and the Bandit 1, 2, & 3 5-Final Destination 1 & 2 I put the set for Crocodile Dundee, Smokey and the Bandit, and Final Destination because I liked them equally. By the way I don't see to many movies. I wanted to see Walk the Line but did not get it see it yet, I plan on getting it when it comes out on DVD.

Miyazaki last movie. He's just announced retirement (I'll confess I've cried ). I've seen nearly ALL Studio Ghibli's movies, and in a World of "emotional pornography" (in movies, books, stories) I love these oasis of genuine and positive emotions. THANKS Hayao!! You gave me a lot, and I've learnt a LOT.

Just watched this movie...with our own Tom Wopat in it...course he was a pshyco in it....stupid ants....anyways, if any of yall has seen it on sci-fi what did yall think of it? I didnt like the ending but it rocked!

I went to see the movie on Friday and saw the movie it was great, and there was some parts true to the tv show. The Line that guy says to Daisy in the Boars Nest something like that is said in the Boars Nest and it had some really funny moments. I like the Atlanta Phone Book scene the best I thought that was really good. Just one thought thow heard this before I left " I wonder if they filmed the Movie in Hazzerd." There alreadry planning a sequeal to the movie right now.

I just was surfing the Internet and found out that The Fast And The Furious 4 will come out on June 5, 2009 and will have Vin Diesel and Paul Walker back in the movie again. Can't till June 5th next year about everybody else.

Well got to see the 2nd reunion movie to night. It was good, but some thing was missing. It just didnt fill right. There are 3 thing that really buged me. One was that Gabby girl. I didnt like the whole love store betwwen her and Bo. Two Luke's love store. Iam a BIG Bo fan, but I really wanted Luke to get the love of his life back. (It made me sad to see Luke sad) Three, Luke wasnt the same old Luke. It seem like he wasnt really into it. BO on the other hand was great!! Minus the parts with Gabby in them. So what do you all thing about it???

New York or where the dukes was filmed my was a movie call Larger Than Life a Bill Murray movie 1996 Its the movie where Bill had to take the elephant cross country The scene where he goes into the little diner and ask's the witress if they had a salad bar and she say's yes he say's he'll take all of it in the back ground is smoke stacks the diner is actuilly a bar watch is 2 blocks from my house i never sead anything because at the time i did'nt have a computer and when i did git one i had forgot the movie i live in IL but sadly to this day i wish i had been an exter in that movie

I know this is we bit sticky but from what I heard Hasselhoff say that his Knight Rider isn't going to be like The Dukes Movie. And he took nearly two years before he began production of it and he's directing it and starring it and I have seen this fancy european silver sportscar online that is going to in the movie. From what I've heard he wanted Ben Affleck to play his son in the movie but he got turned out from Ben.

Recently viewed the 2005 remake and enjoyed it. Having seen there wasn't a thread for it... thought I'd see if anyone else liked the remake as much or almost as the original. Daney

I think most people here remember the Cannonball Run movies for Catherine Bach in the Countach, but there was more Hazzard in it than only Cathy. In Speed Zone, which some people consider to be Cannonball Run 3, is John Schneider also driving a Countach. Both of these are quite known. There is more though, in the first part of the first Cannonball Run are some driving parts which looks like the exact same roads as from the Georgia episodes on Dukes.
