Dukes of Hazzard General Discussion

What're your favorite comments by our beloved balladeer? From the episode The Treasure of Soggy Marsh they are: "We're about to see an interesting experiment in physics, the one about the irresistible force and the immovable object...and somebody better duck!" "Now what kind of fella could see a woman that looks like that and that's all he can think of to say. He must be a city boy." The one that ALWAYS comes to mind is "The Hazzard County carwarsh" when Roscoe, his deputies and their cars all wind up in a lake.

I've had many Rosco moments....I just had one in a post...I wrote "what's the name of the movie" and the name of the movie was the name of the topic.....which I figured out after I posted...LOL!!!

Trying to figure out where the location here in California was that they filmed the chase scenes in the country side. I remember that in the last couple years some or all of it burned...but I would still like to go out there in my Charger. Can anyone help? Thanks Corey

I was going to do one of these for every character, but there are too many good conversations... I love so many, but I'll start with one... Rosco: You're beautiful, Boss, Just beautiful. I'm new here so I apologize in advance if this has been brought up somewhere else. I did a search & found a 'Rosco's Funniest Moments' but not for everyone & everything. What are the funniest moments to you? I laugh all the time at things in DOH, which is why I love it so much, but there's a few that have had me in tears. Here's three: Rosco doing a Dukes slide across his car's hood. - This is a classic & my favourite funniest moment Cletus doing a Dukes slide across his car's hood. ...the last DOH aired(if the airdate on the DVDs are correct). Later this evening, I'll relive Feb 8 1985 and watch Opening Night at the Boar's Nest. I doubt I saw it that day. I wasn't into DOH as much as a kid. I watched it every now and then. I think I watched more reruns after '85 then I did when it originally aired. I was very young during those days-6 years old when it started and 12 at the end. At that age, I didn't take any TV show seriously-just whatever I felt like watching.

What brand name was the cbs used in the show? Was it Cobra?

Greetings from Hazzard Tn. In this post, I want to know which characters annoyed the living crap out of you? These are characters that when they talk or even appear on camera, you just want to b*#! slap them. I know many of you will say Coy and Vance, but how about others, supportive players, one time characters? etc? My two votes go for characters in Boss and Rosco's family. Mama Coltrane!! Now while I consider Lucille Benson a fine actress, ( I liked her as thE snake lady in Duel) But I couldn't stand her as Rosco's mama. With a mother like that, no wonder Rosco never dated. Even though i live in the UK, i cannot always buy dvds that are uncompatible with Region 2 DVD players but a funny thing happened when i put the dvd into my tv/dvd combi - IT PLAYED which is really weird because Region 1 dvds don't work with Region 2 players. It may have been the last season but it sure was good. My Fave Episode(s) were: Happy Birthday General Lee Cool Hands, Bo and Luke Go West, Young Dukes (Bo/Joe looked kinda cute with that Moustache) Sittin Dukes When You Wish Upon A Hogg (What a cute sight to see Bo and Luke sleeping) Enos and Daisy's Wedding (That wedding dress was so not nice though)

I would like to know where i can find some pictures of When You Wish Upon A Hogg ?", or if you have any i would love to see them.

So what does everybody think of last years and the one coming out direct to dvd this year sometime. And also did you know that Knight Rider the movie come out in 2008. And the they said that Miami Vice kind of bombed with people I think Hollywood is running out of ideas for movies now.

I am looking for some really good screenshots of the actress who played Cooter's daughter in the episode 'Cooter's girl' I found a few on her personal website but they weren't really good ones. Remember when they brought in the box of shirts "Hogg's Fight of the Century" ? either just a few on the top really said that, and the rest of the box was just shirts.... or, the whole box was full of those shirts.... now, Im just curious, where did those shirts go? and also, like, in other cases, you see like various stuff in the background, just random stuff, J.D. Hogg this, and J.D. Hogg that, and on and on. .. . . . all those episodes, all those tiny details in the backgroudns, in office settings, and outside places as well.......... where did all these small things dissappear off too?

When is the exact date for season 6 is out? Let me know.

Ok, how many seasons of TDoH actualy where there? i have read several different sites, some saying 5, more saying seven, a few saying 8 and now ive just read 9. Please could someone please give me a definite number, this is messing with my head.

I dunno if y'all saw but I did a little thing about the Demise of Daisy's RoadRunner and the phantom head that pops up in the back of the car before it goes off the cliff. A sharp eyed Duke fan pointed that out to us awhile back. (Those of ya that didn't see it, there's a link on the front page of HNet) Now I'm wonderin'....anybody ever seen any other odd or strange things in episodes of the Dukes?
