I've had in the back of my mind that I've seen one some episode that there was an actual welcome sign maybe with Boss Hogg's picture and maybe even signs saying leaving hazzard. Can someone confirm it or not. Brandy

I have 107 episodes on DVD because I bought seasons 1-5 all at once when I got my income tax check just was at Wal-Mart one night really late and seen them al lthere, and just threw all of them in the cart along with some Ren & Stimpy DVD's..... anyway, I just was wondering if there was any answer about when I can expect to see seasons 6 and 7 out on DVD? I know that like 4 and 5 came out fairly recently it seems from some of the info Ive seen online about the DVD releases..... but I cant seem to find any info about when seasons 6 and 7 will be out so I can hurry up and complete my collection. I couldnt find this topic when I did a search, but if this has been brought up before...sorry. I thought about this the other night. I mean a lot of hardcore old fans aren't thrilled with the people playing Boss, Bo, Luke, Daisy etc. However, what if this movie is a huge hit with the younger generation? What if those 15-20 somethings can't get enough of it. Would that popularity force WB make a new TV series? It wouldn't be the first time people have tried to cash in from the success of a movie. Thoughts?

Well, I don't know if it was the show or the movie, but the guy who won a gold metal for America in the speed skating department was talked too after he won and he said he watched Dukes of Hazzard right before the race. Hi, I was just wondering if any of you knew the specific make and model of the lightbars used on the Sheriff cars in almost every episode (save Million Dollar Sheriff).

Ok can anyone name all of the country singers that played at the end of The Dukes? Also can anyone name the songs that they sang? I know that there was Lorretta Lynn, Waylon Jennings, and the Oakridge Boys. Weren't they on twice? If I am correct I think that it was a big thing for them to play on the show. Thanks

Does anyone know what kind of car that is Bo and Luke are driving when the first appear in 'Welcome back Bo and Luke'? I know nothing about cars but Coy or Vance say thanks to Bo and Luke for bringing their car back. Well I DO know that it is NOT the same car as the one when Coy and Vance first appear in season 5 that car is blue and this one is yellow and they are different kinds I'm pretty sure but no idea what the yellow car might be. I was 7 years old when the show 1st aired in '79. I loved Smokey & The Bandit "original movie" but hadn't seen it & that age yet. This show was the best thing since catfish and hush-puppies for S&B fans on a weekly basis. The 1st 5 episodes are the only shows that I recognize. When they moved it to Hollywood it just went down hill from there on. I'll give them credit & 1st they tried to @ least make a effort for 1 or 2 shows for it to appear to be Georgia or a "real town" with paved roads, etc but the plot changed, from what I remember they picked up new writers, producers, etc. based on behind the scenes specials about the show. I`ve only seen the first season of the DOH and the 2nd and the 3rd season are on the way, but i want to ask whether there was an episode where 3 or more cars were after the general, just like smokey and the bandit, instead of just Enos/Cletus and Roscoe. I love the fist fights in the boars nest, but in season 1, there were only two fights, does the number increase in the upcoming seasons ? GREAT SHOW

I have an ad in my Sunday paper from Wal Mart saying the Season 5 DVD is now being released on November 8th. That is the only place I have seen that earlier date listed though it makes sense because the theatrical movie DVD release was just a week apart from it in December (6th and 13th).

I was in Target today and saw for $39.95 each Halloween costumes for Bo Duke and also one for the same price for a Luke Duke one. I didn't see a Daisy Duke one. They are based on the original actors from the TV series. They both have a John (or Tom) wig, a hat, a typical Dukes shirt and a belt buckle that says Dukes Of Hazzard on it. No mask of their faces though they are on the packaging. Pretty cool looking!

this week at my high school is homecoming week, and everyday we have a different dress up day. Well today was dress up like your favorite TV character... and about half the girls at school dressed up like daisy duke...which was pretty funny.

Non of the Dukes ever switcht clothes much (except Daisy then ofcourse) but when they did I thought they looked quite nice. I loved Bo in the Brown jacket and all the men (including Jesse lol)) looked very handsom in tuxedos. What do you think: shirt or tux?

hi guys I wonder put idea thread here and when I watch DOH everynight at 6pm and then later watch other tv show and then going bed then next morning and also are you still feeling voice running in your mind? my voice mind still running said "welcome to hazzard county" and sheriff rosco coltrane chase dukes like jump and I can feeling in my mind said "welcome to hazzard county and rosco said ghkuu... keeping said...." not know why I can still feeling voice in my mind.. not stopping... I had a dream last night... I went to Dukes Fest, and did lots of Dukes stuff. Then, I grabbed a hotdog or something and sat down. Ben Jones himself came up to me and said "Mind if I sit here?" so I agreed, and I got his autograph!

Looking at the Opening Titles for the First and Second Seasons, am I right in thinking that there are some unused film shots used? I'm thinking particularly of the following shots.... 1. Close-up of Ben Jones smiling and pushing his cap up. 2. Close-up of Denver Pyle pointing his finger. 3. Close-up of John Schneider before the General Lee jumps over the mound of dirt. Can anyone help me here?

Sorry for repeating this thread but I lost the thread where I originally posted about the dukes of Hazzard desktop theme. I downloaded it but it didnt download any different than when I had earlier versions of windows so I didnt get all the components on my computer such as shut down screen ect. Can someone tell me what I might have done wrong? Miz Smarteepantz
