Do y’all have any favourite drivers out there? I get the channels that broadcast it but any other good ways to follow the sport and keep up on the news?

I like Chase Elliott. His dad was mentioned on the Dukes so that's enough to make me a fan. Plus he's from northern Georgia, just like the Dukes. 

NASCAR Reddit posts a lot of news as does Jayski. 

My current crop of drivers I root for are Josh Berry, Shane Vangisbergen, Ross Chastain, Connor Zillisch, Ryan Blaney, Brad Keselowski and any other Chevy and Ford driver. Used to root for whoever drove the #43 but since they went to Toyota I root against them. That number on a foreign car just doesn't seem right.

I got to see the races a few years ago, so I fairly randomly picked Ricky Stenhouse Jr as it was his first season and my first season. Nowadays, I don't see the races and only occasionally see the results.

You will, however, notice that I regularly hijack the NASCAR News thread to post about F1. I tend to be fairly patriotic with my driver choices and back the British drivers. I'd love Lewis Hamilton to win an eighth championship before he retires, but it looks more like being Lando Norris's year. George Russell could also be in with a chance.

not really sure...seems like he raced really well  2-3 yrs. ago.

Growing up Dale Earndhart, Jr was my favorite. When I played the NASCAR game most recently I played as Danica Patrick for the fact she was a girl but never saw her race. The one I really like to root for now is Frankie Muniz.

My favorite used to be Rusty Wallace because he drove my Favorite car......it was the prettiest design with the Kodiak  bear on it! ( here lately, I've been pushing for Denny Hamlin!  )

Well I'm sure for most of you, I don't have to say who's my favorite driver. But I'll put it here for the newbies. 

My all time favorite driver is Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. I do like Dale Earnhardt Jr as well.  My favorite current driver is Chase Elliott. I'm all for team Hendrick.

Mine is also! If it's a professional league I'm a Pittsburgh fan, OSU for college, Celtics for NBA and LA for WNBA

I was just teasing Garrett. He's a Cubs and Bears fan. I'm the Pirates, Steelers, Penguins fan....Timberwolves fan in NBA.

LOL Roger! Definitely not the Pirates...though I like them better than the red birds and Brewers. Definitely a Chicago Cubs and Bears fan!  

I heard a rumor that the Chicago Bears are considering moving to Hammond Indiana. Googled it and the rumor is true. Just considering it though. That's just across the line, right? They wouid still be the Chicago Bears? 

I think the New York Giants are actually in New Jersey. Or is that the Jets?
