Dukes of Hazzard General Discussion

Hey all, long time no see :-) Here's something that I noticed a long time ago, and it's been bugging me ever since but I never asked around : In "Repo Men" (Georgia episode) there are some interior scenes at the Duke farm, that clearly show the "california kitchen". I haven't found any previous posts about this. Does any know if this was a set they built in Georgia? If so, it would seem strange they didn't make it look like the "real" Georgia farm kitchen. Or were they already shooting in California when they were filming Repo Men? Or did they re-shoot these scenes later on?

Hey folks, I have a question. Where/when was " The Dukes Visit Las Vegas" done? I thought I had ALL 147, episodes PLUS the two reunion movies and I THINK I have that crappie " New Dukes", with Johnny Knoxville, etc. ......but I NEVER even HEARD of this one!! ( Is it one of the episodes created on this site?)

I've noticed strange reflections on some scenes, the ending has a few of them i believe , it's like the cameras were filming behind a lens or something what was that? have you noticed that ? Mostly on chases and car scenes

Why is it that Roscoe was replaced from time to time? I don't think they ever gave an explanation as to why in the show and I haven't been able to find anything online that gives a good solid answer. Also wondering if there's a list anywhere about the 'guest sheriffs' that subbed for Roscoe. Didn't both Jackie Gleason and the Louisiana Sheriff from the 70's James Bond movies come thru?

I want to start a thread on things done or said in the show that didn't make any sense ( I think I may have touched on this before, but it would still make a nice thread, with different people thinking of things others missed!). On part of the site, here, it says that Bo is the youngest of the 3 cousins but I believe Daisy was the youngest of the 3, Bo was just younger than Luke.

Hi I was watching the dukes. i was wondering how old they were all supposed to be at the start of season 1 also how old were coy and Vance i know Byron was 28 when he was in season 5. i was just wondering they always make reference that Bo was the baby and in under cover dukes Jesse refers to Bo as baby Bo

Hi are there any Coy and Vance fans? Personally i loved them and would have loved to see them stay on the show. when they left the show i missed them. and then they never were mentioned again. i would have like to see them come back for a couple of eps. be mentioned. does anyone here think coy and vance should have remained on the show along with bo and luke. the eps could have been pretty good all 4 of them running from boss, rosco and enos and working with cooter to make hazzard better. coy and vance were good looking and fit as Dukes. what do you all think the eps could have been like with 4 duke boys and daisy?

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone has heard any rumors about what happened on the show, whether it was about the cars, what happened on set or others related to the show. One that I heard a few years ago I used 'torment' my Chrysler mad friend with, was there was a field where all the retired Generals were parked, just rusting away (we know this isn't true of course). Another one that I read about was there was a General at the bottom of one of the ponds from filming that is still there. Does anyone else have any to add? Cheers Brad

Hey y'all I had a bit of a Dukes day today. I watched mostly season 4 episodes. Amongst other episodes I watched "Sound of Music Hazzard Style","Dear Diary" and "Cletus Falls in Love". I don't know if this has been brought up before but did anyone notice the chase music at the start of "Dear Diary" and "Cletus Falls in Love" sounds really similar to "Object of My Affection" by Mickey Gilley at the start of "Sound of Music Hazzard Style"? Can anyone else hear the similarities or is it just me? In my opinion I think it's possible that Mickey Gilley recorded the "Object of My Affection" instrumental for the Dukes,especially since the episodes seemed to filmed so close toget…

I'm having a problem with disc 2 of season one....the problem is with The Big Heist and Limo One is Missing . It freezes multiple times during T.B.H and won't even play Limo 1. I've watched this DVD before with no problems but now..... I've cleaned it with soap and water twice and even had my dad clean it....There doesn't seem to be any scratches but there are teany tiny specs/spots that don't wash off...on both sides....but only a problem with one side......uggg....so annoying! Oh more annoyingness...this DVD plays fine in the livingroom but not in my room or on my moms computer...does that make any sense!?! Ok I'm done ranting and raving now (maybe). Anyway does anyone…

hi guys, I almost dream about that last night and why Hoggs hate Dukes, Sheriff chase dukes all time that order from boss or what reason for? how hazzard county getting grow up from old classic to new like change vehicles or buidlings? Why we need senior citizen house and sports field for kids do we need it? why not we can see dukes and others that how grow up become be before high school look like we did bit little in film and little episode on field. Hey y'all I was watching RIP Henry Flatt earlier and noticed a flaw in the slaw. Outside the Boars Nest,when Rosco is arresting Daisy for having the casket in her jeep,take a look at Boss Hogg"s caddie. Now notice in the next scene how Boss is giving out to Alex about allowing the Dukes to put the casket in his back seat. Bo and Luke apparently managed to put the casket from wherever they hid it to the caddie's back seat in a matter of seconds.

Hey y'all I was watching Witness for Persecution earlier and noticed a couple of flaws in the slaw. The first is when Enos pulls up at the Duke farm to talk to Bo and Luke. As he pulls away the camera pans out to a wideshot of the farm yard. Anyone notice anything at the right of the screen? The second is when the two hit men are backing out of the tunnel. There's a brief shot of the interior of the car. Anyone notice anything in the background? And finally the crew for that episode must also have worked on Bullitt,because the cougar is constantly seen with hubcaps missing in one scene and on the car in the next scene.
