Whenever I get a PM I see the first few words but then can't figure out what to click on to see the rest. I don't remember having this problem before but.....as y'all know...I'm bad with technology.

I've seen all six movies and there wasn't a single scene where a car jumped anything. Despite that flaw they are pretty good.

Thanks JHDuke. I love it when these old threads get revived. I flipped through the 2 pages and seeing the old HN members names brought back old warm memories. Since I answered 9 years ago I have become a Lord of the Rings fan and love all 6 movies. I even ended up reading the 4 books.

Good question. I've haven't really thought about it too much. I suppose Cooter has bailed out everybody in Hazzard County at least once so most folks wouldn't mind letting him borrow their vehicle. It was a little different early in season one. He wasn't as trustworthy. His wild streak was pretty bad, even stealing Limo One.

The folks of Hazzard County are much more exciting than me.

It was my least favorite episode. Still, the worst Dukes of Hazzard episode is better than the best episode of any other show ever made.

We went out to breakfast Saturday morning and Dierks Bentley's "What was I thinking?" was one of the songs that was playing while we were eating. I always love it when "hood sliding like Bo Duke" comes on.

I don't do much technology so I don't know what loop means but I do know that once in awhile I put my Dukes soundtrack CD in when I'm driving down dirt roads, like on the way to the dirt track. I just love Rosco singing "My old dog his name is Flash. I don't know why 'cause he ain't too fast. He runs two steps then he runs out of gas. In a one dog race he'd come in last." "That old Flash, he ain't too good at chasin' them possums through the woods. He never does a thing he should. He just sleeps and eats his food."

If your father has tried to convince you that Kitt is better I have to question what kind of role model he has been. On the other hand, you are a lifelong Dukes fan so he clearly did something right when he raised you. Despite his one single fault he sounds like a great parent.

Everybody here is from Hazzard and now Joe is too and we are excited to have a new guy in town. You sound like the kind of person who will be staying around a long time so that's awesome. Tell us more about your love of the show. Favorite character, season, episode, scene, etc. There's so much to explore here. Feel free to check old some of the older threads and revive them. This place is the best electronic Dukes of Hazzard museum on the planet. It will take you months to go through it all.

Well, it wouldn't HAVE to be......but it COULD be. I could see Rosco setting someone up by putting a bogus VIN number on something and then accusing them of doing it. You mentioned a trailer. I could see a trailer full of valuables coming through Route 36 and Rosco pulling them over and setting them up with some sort of way to confiscate the trailer. Boss will do anything for a buck....or a dime....or a penny.

Hmmm....if he was running a scam for Boss he would. There's nothing Rosco and Boss wouldn't do for a good scam.

If you ever need help with the techno stuff just ask me. I'm getting pretty good at it. I still don't have a cell phone (seriousely) but my wife showed me how to hang hers up (it's the red thing) if I'm using it. She still needs to dial for me but at least I'm making progress. I guess I don't have any comments about anything specific. I just love fanfiic as long as it stays true to the show and doesn't stray away from its values.

Diane was on General Hospital and that's my wife's favorite show. She's been a fan for 40 years....as long as I've loved Dukes. Lucky for my wife, her show is still on. I'm jealous. Edit: Isn't that Rosco's Mama in the background telling him that he's too young to get married?
