  1. Thanks for all you do MM. You have worked so hard for nearly 2 decades now to unite fans of the best show on the history of TV and we love you for that.
  2. Denver Pyle was born in 1920 so he was 59 when Dukes came out in 1979. John turns 57 on Sunday, meaning he is only two years away from that. It's hard to believe since John looks so young compared to Denver at that stage of his life. I always like to call Jesse an old ridge runner but I guess I should start to think about calling John that too. Since I'm 7 days younger than John I guess I'm allowed to call him old! Happy birthday John. There's nobody on this planet who would have played Bo any better.
  3. Lucky for me one is not hard to locate at all, it's only 10 minutes from my house. It's called Dirty Cherry Mudding (because it's located on Cherry Hill Road) and isn't that old but is getting bigger every year. I think they have one event every month but it always seems like I have something to do that day. I'm definitely going this year. I have been to a place called Yankee Lake in Ohio a few times. That's the biggest mudding place around where I live but It's over an hour away. Ray Khon does some of his Dukes stunt shows there. What a muddy blast!
  4. Thanks Boss. Great pictures. I just googled Lee 1 General Lee and read the lengthy story by Gary Schneider. Can somebody post a link. I don't know how.(How do you do that anyways. It couldn't be that hard. I don't use facebook or anything so I never figured it out. The only thing I use a computer for is e-mail, fantasy sports and HazzardNet.) Did Bubba Watson sell Lee1?
  5. You were right about your quote Hoss from the old timer selling it but I was right also.....as mentioned in this previous post. I want to thank you for something. Since 1979 I had never noticed that the car from Repo Men was a Charger. I have it on pause in my DVD player as I type this, amazed that I never knew that. I guess I just didn't pay attention and since the grill and headlights were missing I can see how. This isn't the first time I have missed the obvious. I never would have made a good detective because I also miss small details. This was a pretty big detail to miss though.Thank you so much for mentioning that. You are greatly appreciated.
  6. "You can call it fate. In Hazzard County It's called Duke luck. But something led Bo and Luke to that Capital City junkyard and right up to that wreck of an old black Charger. Sounds like a song old Willie would sing doesn't it?" Waylon from "Happy Birthday General Lee. (Willie is a reference to Willie Nelson)
  7. I think that episode is the only time they did use the word Charger. It was when the boys first laid eyes on the black 1969 car and Waylon said something like "that old wreck of a Charger" Does anybody remember what model the old Richard Petty race car was?
  8. Welcome to the HazzardNet James. Anybody who loves the Dukes enough to even think about a project this big is okay in my book!
  9. The thing that I like about dirt tracks is the way the cars fishtail on the turns....I believe kids call it drifting. Whatever you call it, it's fun to do and fun to watch. That's why I like dirt bike races too. We have a track up here called Holeshot that I go to.
  10. I'm getting pretty excited about the local dirt track opening up here in Conneaut Ohio soon. (I live just across the line in Pennsylvania) I try to make it every Friday night and I always wear a Dukes shirt and orange 01 hat.
  11. Thanks for the update. I love watching these projects make progress.
  12. I'm still here and it sure is good to hear from you. How ya been? Yep, It's been slower than the old days but even though the quantity of folks isn't high the quality is.
  13. Fantastic! Thanks for sharing these.
  14. This was so awesome. I can just see the look on his face now when he called her that.
  15. Thanks so much for sharing this Mark. I'm excited about visiting. I just love Ben. He's a true fan of the show and would have been even if he would have never been an actor on it. He really is someone we can all look up to.
  16. Happy birthday on Friday Lulu. You are a beautiful angel.
