  1. Thanks for the update Miss Alma. It sounds like he's heading in the right direction.
  2. Tell him we love him and we're thinking about him and praying for him. I hope he gets better soon because my car is stuck over on the east end of Mill Pond Road and I need a wrecker.
  3. Thanks for everything you've done for all these years MM. Being a low tech guy I can't imagine how difficult the countless hours have been that you have so graciously put into this labor of love. We appreciate and love you for your constant commitment to the HazzardNet. You're my hero. (actually you're third to God and Uncle Jesse. Still, That's pretty impressive company)
  4. Thanks for posting this. I just mentioned it to my wife and we plan on going.
  5. Fantastic detailing! I sure miss the old cars. I can tell you what every single part is and does under the General's hood but I'm as lost as a baby in the forest with these new cars.
  6. Do you mean the one I took or the one in the magazine? If it's the one I took I wouldn't know how to do that. I still have pictures printed out on paper and save them the old fashioned way. If you mean the one in the magazine I'm not sure if it is online or not.
  7. Well, now I'm only 3 years away. Happy birthday Uncle Jesse. We love you.
  8. Just picked up two copies of Chrysler Power magazine. Ray Kohn wrote a story about the stunt show. It is awesome! On page 28 I think it's me in the background taking a picture of a General that has just been jumped.
  9. Billy Paul had an amazing voice but I never liked the lyrics in "Me and Mrs Jones". I just felt too sorry for her husband.
  10. chicken (What came first, the chicken or the eggnog?)
  11. $50,000 per toe! Wow! I'm one of the world's biggest Dukes fans so that makes me kinda famous too. Maybe I'll start saving my toenail clippings and selling them online.
  12. food (as in seconds at supper....is that term across the pond?)
  13. Coy has a birthday coming up in 3 days. Happy birthday on the 17th cuz!

    Duck Dynasty

It's good to see Duck Dynasty still going strong even though the popularity of the show has dropped a little. They're still a little more civilized than they started out being but once in awhile they're making a trip into the swamp. That'll keep me watching.
  15. Good point Mark, Huey as County Commissioner. I can't believe I didn't think of that.
  16. Thanks for posting that Hoss. He was a great example of someone who pulled himself out of the ashes and made something of his life when many thought he wouldn't amount to much. It shows you what hard work (mixed with a little talent) can do.
  17. I never liked the reunion show because the three younger Dukes had abandoned a frail Uncle Jesse and moved away. They never would have done that, at least not all 3 of them. Imagine what Hazzard would be like today. What is your version of it? I think Daisy would live in town married to Sheriff Enos. She would be a manager at a store in town and they'd have twin girls, both seniors in college at Atlanta. Bo never married and moved away and became an administrative executive for NASCAR. Luke still runs the farm with his wife, and youngest son. His other son and daughter have families of their own and live nearby and always bring the grandchildren out to learn farmwork even though they're not farmers themselves. The General Lee is owned by Luke but he never drives it. His youngest son runs all around in it. Jesse's old white Ford pick-up has been restored and sits in the barn, only driven on special occasions like Jesse's birthday to honor his memory. Cooter never married but got involved with the Big Brother program years ago and ended up adopting a boy who is now in his late 20s and is getting ready to take over the garage because Cooter wants to retire. His daughter Nancy moved back and will be co-owner. Cletus inherited the Boar's Nest and is still running it and hasn't changed a thing. Sadly though the cars and trucks running around are all modern. They just don't have the individuality and character of the cars from the 70s.....but at least the personalities of Hazzard's citizens haven't changed much.
