*HUGE SMILE THAT WILL LAST ALL DAY* This calls for a multi-day party!

Good news and bad news
This party's going great. Hey Hobie, I hate to tell you but Jesse's finest is a lot more popular than yours. Don't blame me. I'm a buttermilk guy myself. Meadowmufn's looking pretty happy....the center of attention and adoration.

The Dukes Meet Cale Yarborough
You're not going to be happy with our results Hobie because they make it even more confusing. After playing it 7 times my wife thinks it is "coin to the rim" and I think it's "corner to rim". Neither of us heard the word "of" or "realm"

Feel free to add to the list. What are you folks bringing?

Good news and bad news
This is awesome! Now we get to party tonight and party after the double check in a few months. Party time tonight.....Waylon's bringing his guitar. Enos is bringing the buttermilk. Lulu is bringing the bon bons. Daisy is bringing daisies. Bo is bringing trout to fry up. Jesse is bringing his finest...Hobie is bringing his too so folks can vote on which is best. Cooter is bringing leftover doughnuts and beer from his breakfast. Emma Tisdale is bringing her dirt bike to give rides. Luke is bringing fresh berries. Cletus is bringing spaghetti. Boss is too cheap to bring anything. And (saved the best for last) Rosco is bringing his warmest hugs for his dear friend.

The last 24 hours
Well Spike, you didn't get everthing you wanted but maybe things will get back to normal now. Woops, there's that word again...normal.

Back to normal. Antibiotics work! (probably shouldn't us the word normal. Folks 'round here know I've never been that)

LOL...we've had something similar over here. Years ago, the word "bad" was used to mean something good thanks to folks like Michael Jackson and Mr T. Now the younger generation uses "sick" and "ridiculous" to describe something that is good. It can be hard to for an old redneck to keep up with. So I guess this means that I should hope that the spider that bit me was deadly, sick, ridiculous and bad. If it was then I should be fine. (fine meaning fine....not the opposite of fine)

The last 24 hours
My chills and hot flashes improved today but the rash has gotten much bigger. I'll probably go back tomorrow since I also have a lot of soreness in my neck and both shoulders. I'm on Cephalexin. I'm starting to understand why humans have evolved to have a fear of spiders.

The last 24 hours
Wednesday evening I was watching TV and out of the clear blue sky started to get the chills. No matter what I did I couldn't warm up.....and then at times I'm hot and sweating. Thursday morning I noticed a big red patch near my left armpit. I never got better, going from chills to sweating all day so Friday went to the doctor. It looks like an infected spider bite (it' s not a tick bite) so now I'm on antibiotics but still havent made any improvements. I can't stay awake for more than a couple hours. Hopefully the antibiotics will start working their magic soon. It's a small problem compared to what MM is going through but it has been a really rough 3 days.

Good news and bad news
It probably seems like Tuesday will take forever but it will be here before you know it. You are greatly loved.

The Dukes Meet Cale Yarborough
I'll have to check that out. The only similar thing I remember is from Jude Emery. As I recall Daisy is saying something but her mouth doesn't move.

Carnival of Thrills Premiere Date
I turned 20 that day...7 days after John Schneider turned 20. I hope we can get to the bottom of this Dukes mystery. I bet Boss and Rosco are behind all this....probably some scheme for Boss to make a few bucks.

Ray Kohn's Dukes Show
I just rewatched "Stuntlife" on the DVD. It was nice to be able to back up some of the scenes, something I couldn't do at the big screen premier. I'm just amazed at how awesome this movie is. It is a must have for Dukes fans.

Good point Hobie. Besides, Boss might be a lot of things but dumb is not one of them. He won't mess with Meadowmufn.

Carnival of Thrills Premiere Date
It's good to hear from you tripflicky. My DVD set say that Carnival of Thrills originally aired in the US on September 16, 1980. I have an old list from epguides (by Thomas D.L. Sisco) that agrees with that date. I wish my old TV guides weren't so buried or I'd pull them out. It was a season premier and they were always in September. We hope to hear more from you.
