I recorded it and will watch it later. I did watch a couple minutes of it this morning....the part where he threw his daughter's dress in the dryer and shrank it. For a sentimental guy like me watching something like this can be bittersweet. I love watching these kinds of things but get pretty sad knowing that he is gone. Seeing Dukes fade away is like watching loved ones die. It's part of the aging process. Even seeing Sheriff Little die was tough on me. On the other hand watching Bo jump a General Lee at 58 or getting excited about the latest Ray Kohn stunt show makes everything new again. I guess it's time for me to pop a Dukes DVD in.

I was flipping through the guide channel and noticed James Best's movie "The Sweeter Side of Life" is on The Hallmark Channel at 9am (EST) tomorrow (Sun) morning. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

I don't remember the Slam Shifters either but I've gotten to the point in my life where I've forgotten a lot more than I remember. I love seeing displays of collections like that. They make me feel 40 years younger. 2019 will mark the 40th year the Dukes have been a big part of my life.

I'll just be hanging out with my wife and doing jobs around the house. The grandkids are spending the night tonight. The dirt track got rained out last night so we went to the movie "Adrift". It was pretty good.

Good observation. One thing that amazes me about the Dukes of Hazzard. Despite all the faults and bloopers somehow it is still the greatest television show in the history of our vast Universe.

On the way to the dirt track last night I was wearing my 01 hat and Northeast Ohio Dukes shirt when "What was I thinking?" came on the radio so I got to hear "hood sliding like Bo Duke.".......and one of the races had an orange 01 car. It didn't do well but still, it was a great night to live like a Duke boy.

I'm heading out to the dirt track tonight and kayaking tomorrow. This is the first Memorial Day weekend in 22 years that I haven't had to work overtime.

Do you want to know how much tire pressure to put in a 1967 Model 120 International tractor? I'd post that. In fact, I'd post it even if you didn't want to know or didn't care. I'd let you know how the temperature, ground conditions and load you're hauling will affect pressure. I'll let you know how much pressure to put in the back tires on Tuesday and front tires on Saturday. Yep, the world is a better place because I don't know how to post links.

Political correctness has pretty much caused many jokes to not be told anymore but mother-in-laws seem to still be fair game. I love my mother-in-law so I don't tell them. Sadly, she now has dementia and is no longer the same person she was.

I love looking under the hood of cars from that era. I know what 90% of those parts are and how they work and in most cases how to fix them. I am completely lost with these new cars.

I wonder if there are other words that they can do this with that would divide the masses.
