When Cooter and the Dukes were fixing up that old wreck of a black '69 Charger there was only one color of paint that Cooter had enough of and it was ORANGE.
I didn't watch it last night but I looked it up this morning and John was in the bottom 2 but avoided elimination. Apparently there was some controversy because there was a glitch in their system the night before and the votes from smart phones didn't work but the on-line votes did. I suspect that Boss and Rosco hacked into the computer in an attempt to make sure Bo lost but their plan backfired.
Congratulations Boss JD Hogg for earning Fan of the Month honors. You've been with us for over 3 years and we appreciate your friendship and your love of the greatest show to ever be on television. Keep chasing those Duke boys Boss. If you didn't our lives and Hazzard County wouldn't be nearly as fun. Thanks for all your contributions on the best website on the internet!
October First has become an official holiday around here because we celebrate everybody's best friend HossC by rereading this touching tribute that has a lot of hysterical significance.....um I meant historical significance on the HN.
John did okay tonight. It wasn't spectacular but was probably good enough to get him at least one more week on the show....we'll see in 24 hours. I'll keep watching as long as he's on but as soon as he's voted out I'm putting a Dukes DVD in. There are some young talented kids dancing so the competition is tough. One of them is young enough to be John's grandson. (I'm not exaggerating...the kid is 17 and I'm John's age and I have a 17 year old grandson)
I just watched DWTS (we recorded it from last night) It was (mostly) pretty awesome. Bo was driving an old Ford pick-up truck (not white) out in the country and a pretty Sheriff pulled him over and took him in custody. She is his partner and said the Dukes was big in England where she's from and she was a big fan.
The introduction was well done when they were live on the show stage. They didn't show the flag but at least showed part of the General in a picture from 1979. Then the action began. John did a YEEHAWW then hood slid over an old orange Mopar (not a Charger though) that had a 10 on the side....not 01. They danced to a shorthened version of the Dukes theme song. His score wasn't great so I doubt he'll win it all. I just hope he makes it a few shows before getting voted off.
LOL We're big Peppa Pig fans so we know that Grandpa Pig doesn't fix things he mends them. (which would explain why you added "and on the mend") Thanks for the well wishes. I got the permanent cast on this morning. I'll have it until Oct 10 when they'll replace it after removing my stitches. One of my 3 incisions is almost as long as my foot.
Thanks. I'm home and getting used to the crutches. Now I just have to avoid infections and blood clots. I've never been inactive my whole life so this will be a challenge. I'm going to have to watch a lot of Dukes to keep my sanity.....with a little Bo Duke dancing with the stars thrown in there.
I just spent the night in the hospital. I haven't done that since the day I was born. I damaged a tendon in my left foot 6 months ago and got it fixed yesterday. The complete recovery might be 6 months too. That's how it goes when you age. One simple twist of the ankle can mean a year to get better.
So I bumped into "Hazard Net worth" on Google and come to find out the HazzardNet is worth $100 million dollars. Then I realized I made a mistake and football (soccer) player Eden Hazard is worth $100 million dollars. Shucks, I was planning on hitting up Meadowmufn for some money so I could put together a race car and win the Hazzard 500.
