Hazzard Swamp

Everyone knows strange things go on in the Hazzard Swamp... Beware on entering this forum. The nuts hang out here. If you're one of the nuts, pay no heed to the previous warning. Don't get too nutty tho' or we'll have to have the men in white coats come pick ya up... *Warning* There may be "adult" humor in here. If you're easily offended or under 18, it is advised not to enter here. Folks, try to keep it as clean as possible.

  1. Started by Meadowmufn,

Ok, to liven up the forums, I'm gonna start a word association game. I'll post a word, then someone else posts a word that is related to that word or another word they think of. Keep it clean, folks! LOL. So let's begin... puppy

Okay this is a game I got from The Oak Ridge Boys message board thingy mcbobber.... Okay what you do...put a song title, and then the next person can take any word from that title and then post another song with that word in it. Try to pick a song that has at least three or four words in it...so we have something to chose from...and we'll try to avoid the same ones...for a while....lol... 1.) If Heavan Ain't A lot Like Dixie- Hank Williams Jr. 2.) You Ain't Just Whistlin' Dixie- The Bellamy Brothers 3.) Can't You Hear Me Callin'- Dwight Yoakam etc...etc....etc.... Y'all get the point... The first song title is: Just the Good Ol' Boys- Waylon Jennings

Let's see if this catches on! I've seen something similar at another fan site for another show from a different country, and it proved really popular. Rules are simple, just keep it in order, each post containing a word appropriate to the next letter of the alphabet. Could just be a single word, or a name (either character, actor or production crew), or part of a quote, phrase or saying....anything from Dukes works. I'll do the first few and see if this gains traction. Granny ANNIE

Here's the place where you post one or more things that you have done in the last 24 hours. It can be anything you want it to be.....boring-exciting....or anything in between. The only rules are that it has to be true and it has to be fit for a family website. There are no limits to what you can post. I just got done watching Charlie Brown Christmas.

Ok ok I thought up of another little game thats fun, its the Who Am I game, you post clues to a character off the dukes (enaniment objects included.) and if you guess who it is right then you post more clues. here goes the first one... Im the youngest of the Duke cousins, Im the one who has the trademark,"YEEHAA!!!" when we jump, Im known to be sensitive at times too, who am I? (we'll start out with the easy ones first lol)

Here's a new game idea. Someone posts a word, or words or even sentence. The next person uses the last letter to post something else. It doesn't have to have anything to do with the last post. It can be anything your imagination can conjure up (as long as it's rated PG) Here's examples of how it could go... post #1 Enos loves Daisy post #2 yellow post #3 Washington D.C. post #4 Charlie Daniels is my favorite singer post #5 river Okay, I'll go first.... My hero is Uncle Jesse (anything that starts with an E will work)

The virus sure seems like it's all around the world and if it's not where you live it gets closer every day. There are a lot of things being canceled because of it. I was going to sit down on the couch tonight and watch a Dukes episode with my hound dog but we had to cancel because of the coronavirus.

I was going to follow up my crosswords with some Dukes related anagrams, but the best I got for 'Dukes of Hazzard' was 'Soaked hard fuzz'. Then I started entering HazzardNet members' names into the online anagram finder. Here's some to start you off - are you in there?. If you're not there, sorry, some names don't lend themselves (mine included), and others may have been overlooked in this first set. Obviously any numbers and punctuation in names have been ignored. Please post replies with any you manage to solve. Hey Everyone! Today is a special day. It's a holiday here in Hazzard county. Yes, yes... You're all are like holiday? Since when? Well, when is not important and I don't know when it started, why isn't exactly important either.... It's just a Nameless holiday. The Hazzard bank is closed. My office is closed. The Nest is serving free beer tonight and tonight only. To celebrate this Nameless Hazzard Holiday, you wear something black. Then tonight at the stroke of midnight you howl at the moon and fall down on your knees and say... "Whaaaa ta fooooo iam!" Then dance around in circles for five seconds. Crazy? Yes, we know... but if you do this you'll have all the luck of the…

This a fun little game I played when I hung out at another website. It's basically played like the book "if you give a mouse a muffin" reads. For example, I might start with If you give Bo a calculator....... Then the next person would finish it up with something weird, humorous, etc and then start a new bit. You can use any character in the series. Ready? Here goes........ IF you give Roscoe a $100...........

Fairly pointness topic but that never stopped me before. My cat, Baby Girl, was on antibiotics a few weeks ago for a case of the kitty flu. I got around to throwing the package away today... and read this on the container of feline specific antibiotics... "Do not drive or operate heavy machinary. Avoid all alchol products" I guess its a good thing I stopped BG's cruising and boozing while she was sick. Pendragon

Hey y'all This is something that has been bugging me for a while, and to be honest it's making me laugh at their ignorance and stupidity. For the record I just want to say that I am in no way a racist person, and despite people getting hot under the collar about the General Lee and the Dukes being a symbol of racism because it was set in the south and had a confederate flag on the General Lee. Gy Waldron himself said that he was worried about the all white population during the first season, so he wrote some of the bad guy and police roles for black people. The Dukes,at least in my opinion, is a show about family and right and wrong, where the good guys always win, nobody…

Hey everybody! So in Physics today, to keep us paying attention, my physics teacher puller up a bunch of dumb laws. They made me laugh pretty hard. Here's some from my homeland of Canada! Woot-woot! LOL In the City of Edmonton: If you are released from prison, it is required that you are given a handgun with bullets and a horse, so you can ride out of town. When raining, a person may not water his/her lawn. If you have a water trough in your front yard it must be filled by 5:00 a.m You may never use dice to play craps. (what else are you going to play with!?!) Citizens may not publicly remove bandages It is legal to drive the wrong way down a one-way street if you have a…

For all of those who have been around here a while and maybe some new folks that can shed light on this dilema... Why is it, I feel old? Does anyone look in the mirror and go, Gaaaahhhh! in the morning and say, 'Where did the time go?'. I talk to people younger than me all the time and they tell me they love the Dukes but can't tell me a thing about the show. Yes the Dukes of Hazzard is Iconic we all know and are greatful, but as a fan of the orginial, do you ever get that longing, mid-life crisis feeling of 'I wish I could see John and Tom as Bo and Luke again!'. I guess I came up with a solution answer to my own question, 'Pop in a DVD'. But then when it's over you hav…
