  1. Started by NRP,

Anyone have any luck finding it? I've searched and searched, all I found was a dead link that was on this forum to the MP3.

Wanted to let you guys know that I found a new Collier & Co. - Hot Pursuit 2 Disc DVD at our local Rite Aid Pharmacy for $4.99! Yes $4.99! I couldn't believe it. I almost feel like I should mail John some money. Watched the special features disc last night and going to watch the movie tonight. Don't know if Mr. Schneider realizes it is being so so cheap, but I didn't think twice about grabbing it.

  4. I am the new owner of the #1RDV General Lee from the movie starring Jessica Simpson. What I am looking for are photos of this car being used during the production. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. It is currently painted in the pre-Cooter paint scheme with the RDV (remote drive vehicle) equipment on the roof, but was originally standard General Lee #13 Post-Cooter. Please email if you have any questions or need a picture of the car in its current condition. Thanks, Scott

Does anyone know who the band and or singer is, that plays with Uncle Jesse(Willie Nelson) at the "Shine Mart"? I really like the song they sing and can't find out what it is or who sings it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  8. "Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning" hit the top 20 in DVD sales during it's first week of release, scoring 16th. Other first-week releases include "Casino Royale" which rolled in to #1. Before anybody gets too excited about how well "The Beginning" is doing, consider this: It's also the first week of release for "Barbie: Fairytopia - The Magic of the Rainbow." It's at #6. ( Alex, you've got your copy of this already, right?) Brian

This is a funny parody of the Dukes of Hazzard "These Boots Are Made For Walking" video and Hollywood remakes in general.

  10. Started by Brian Coltrane,

Are standing at over 5 million copies sold, per VideoBusiness.com. Five freakin' million copies. This, on top of global box office revenues of over 80 million bucks when the movie was in theatres. That's not counting the sales of the original series on DVD, nor the current sales of "The Beginning" straight-to-DVD movie. "Dukes of Hazzard" is an ATM machine for Warner Bros. I expect we'll see more Dukes incarnations beyond "The Beginning." Still no official news on the odds of a new series, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was at least another DVD project in the wings. Brian

  18. Since some of us can't be "True" DOH fans (unless we are fanatics ) if we want to see the movie and judge for ourselves. This isn't asking if you are going to buy it, just see it. You don't have to like what they are doing and the movie will probably be not on par as the 2005 movie because of the budget. But maybe you want to see it just out of curiousity or to see the General Lee in a movie again. Whatever reason is yours. After all this is HazzardNet - the best Damn Dukes site out there. No cliques or fragmented circles. We are all friends here. First round is on me at the Boar's Nest..( idea for MaryAnne, Mufn, "Brian" - have a section called the Boar's Nest where …

  19. Warner Bros is lowering the bar with this one. The producer, Bill Gerber, previously brought us the tender story of "BeerFest" along with the 2005 Emmy-rejected Dukes movie. One might think there's nowhere to go but up after having those on a resume'. Apparently WB thinks this is the right direction for Hazzard, and as a result the Dukes are really heading south. It's too soon to tell, but early leaks from the industry suggest that this new movie will not only suck, but will also swallow and choke. Either way it could leave a bad taste in yer mouth. The saving grace would be in the car stunts, but nothing orginal is likely to happen there with the 5 to 8 million…

One of my favourite episodes of "Smallville" was the one that served as a reunion for you and your "Dukes of Hazzard" co-star Tom Wopat. I liked that. I thought that was cute. He [Wopat’s character] was the one that got me into the Senate race to begin with, so you can say it was kinda him that eventually did me in. [laughs] Was that one of the original cars from "Dukes of Hazzard" that he drove in that episode? No, no…it belongs to a guy up there where we filmed…. Though, I guess it could have been one of the cars from the old days – I’ve heard that as well. It sounds good to say it was, let’s say it was. Did you see the film version of "The Dukes of Hazzard"…

  21. Okay I was searching the web to try to find out what year' Mustang was in The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift, and then I started (naturally) looking at other muscle car info sites and found the General Lee. After a while of reading some more info about The Dukes of Hazzard show I found that there may be a new Dukes of Hazzard Movie coming out straight to dvd called "The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning" here are some links about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dukes_of_Hazzard:_The_Beginning http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0800328/ Check this out!!!

  22. Awright, since the sequel prospects are in limbo - I think it's time we let everybody weigh in. I can't promise that this will shift the odds one way or the other. But looking back on our earliest movie posts, there were rumors about the General Lee having no flag, and there were debates about what music should be on the sountrack, ect. I can't claim that anybody was listening to us. Lookin' back, though, and taking into consideration some of the media contacts we received...it's at least possible that somebody was. So let's make some noise, eh? Maybe we'll send the string to our WB buddies and see what happens. If all else, it may amuse 'em! Brian

Hi Gang! This was on the E online news wire, I thought Id pass it along... FROM LAGUNA TO HAZZARD COUNTY: Kristin Cavallari being eyed to take over Jessica Simpson's role as Daisy Duke in an upcoming prequel to The Dukes of Hazzard, the film's producer tells People. Based on their shared MTV reality star status, we'd say their acting skills are equally execrable. Seems like another movie got a green light to me... Jax
