I know I haven't been around much in the past few years (computer problems, lack of internet), but I just thought I'd mention, February is the month of my tenth anneversary of being an Hnet member! I believe the exact date is Feb 3 or Feb 4. At this time I would like to thank Meadowmufn for having such a wonderful site, and thank MaryAnne and Brian Coltrane for the work they do to keep it up and running. Found this article today on foxnews.com. General Lee #1 going up for auction at Barrett-Jackson. http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2012/01/03/original-general-lee-jumping-auction-block/?test=faces I can't believe it will get to the price they estimated ($1 mil). Not saying the car isn't worth it but if you know the history of Lee # 1 and what was done to it both in the restoration and who did the restoration it isn't worth much at all. Hey y'all. I just got in from driving around my local parking lot,which is where I've been practicing driving for the past couple of weeks (In Ireland we're not allowed drive until we're 17). Every time I get behind the wheel, I'm fighting the urge to floor the gas and do a few skids and handbrake turns. My first driving experience was just that. I was driving my dads 2 liter turbo volvo on a beach over the summer,and when I tapped the gas the wheels spun and the car started fish tailing,and turning the wheel resulted in sliding. So my question to y'all is "What was your first time driving like?" and did watching the Dukes have an effect on how you drive? Hopefully there…

Hey y'all. Most of you probably know all about Wayne Wooten and the 1991 Warner Brothers deal with the leftover chargers. While I was researching this topic I came across something that I haven't been able to verify. The story goes that when Dukes was cancelled Tom Sarmento and his crew left Valencia in a matter of days,leaving behind cars in various states of disrepair (one charger was even left on jackstands with its wheels off!!) And one car they only bought was left behind as well. Apparently it was a blue 1969 charger with a white vinyl top (i think it was white anyway).Its interior had been dyed light tan and the side markers and reverse lights had been filled in.…

Hey y'all I was watching Comrade Duke earlier and noticed something. As Coy and Natasha are returning to the General after leaving Cooters,the camera pans up and across the Generals front bumper/fender. Anyone else notice the two silvery grey smudges on the bumper? It may sound crazy but I think this car was also used as the off roading General way back in season 2 (or at least the front bumper). Its only visible in the Hazzard Square scenes but its fairly obvious once you know about it. Maybe someone can post a screencap or two of the different scenes? Thanks y'all

Hello everyone, I live in NJ & I have posted here & there on this site but have posted pix & more on a few other Dukes sites. I see alot of people that are on here & not on the other sites so I figured I share some shots of the progress. Ok just as a background these shots have been over the last 2 yrs and I am gettin closer & closer to painting it, well here goes. (you comments are welcomed). Here is my 69 yes its a 69 but its got a 70 clip on it as I traded the clip to a guy to restore my 68 Charger b4 I realized I wanted to do a General Lee.

Dying to find the perfect signature....looking for a quote from Dukes....clever and funny. Now taking suggestions if you don't mind. I know there are a ton of great one but I can't think of any. Thanks!

I am really new to this wonderful site, as you can tell. My issue is this: When I go to edit avatar in my User CP, It has one option, Do not use Avatar. There is no option to use an avatar. I know this is just a newby thing, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My 7yr loves the dukes room painted orange vintage curtains cars everything. He was luke duke last year this year he wanted to be The General Lee and since I think the sun sets and rises in him I made this costume!!

I thought it would be fun to hear everyone's idea of a personalized fantasy Dukes episode. Here's the rules.... 1) Keep it brief. This isn't fanfic. 2) Try to put youself in the episode but that's NOT required. It is a fantasy after all, and all of us want to visit Hazzard so it would be fun to hear what you'd like to do there. 3) Remember this is a PG site....okay PG-13 maybe....but even then you're asking from trouble from the moderators....how 'bout PG-12. 4) You can do as many as you want. 5) Only make it a one part story....like I said, this isn't fanfic.

Can any one tell me wich episode the Dukes lost the farm and were leaving when Bo and Luke started revisiting there past like were one about hit the other in the head with a baseball bat but missed and they said "We gotta get this place back for Uncle Jesse." i've got about everyone DVR'd but can't find this one. can any one help me? thank you. =)

Hello, my fellow Hazzardites! I'd like to pose a question to you guys regarding a few Dukes cast members. For the longest time, I've been trying to find out how tall Ben Jones, Rick Hurst and Christopher Mayer are. I've scoured the web to find the answers, but have come up empty, or at least inconclusive. The Internet Movie Database can sometimes be a good source, but when it comes to celebrities' heights, they tend to grossly exaggerate (case in point, there is NO WAY Mr. T is 6' 1"...he barely had an inch on Sly Stallone, who's around 5' 9 1/2", in Rocky III). Anyway, the IMDB has Ben Jones listed at 6' 3"...the same height as John Schneider?? I'm not sure that's right.…

Hey y'all I was watching Cool Hands Bo and Luke earlier. During the opening scenes with Bo and Luke driving to and through Osage County look at the drivers door near John's shoulder. Notice anything? Maybe someone can post a screencap or two? And does anybody know where the prison scenes were filmed? It doesn't look like anywhere on the Valencia ranch or the Warner ranch,or even Indian Dunes (even though it was closed by season 7) Thanks y'all

I don't think anyone needs reminding of what day today is. Its the day that shocked the world,killed thousands,and changed the way we look at flying. My question is,where were you when you heard the news? I was only six at the time and found out in my local post office after school. The most vivid memory I have is seeing the plane crash into the south tower on the tiny tv in the post office. So my question to you is,where were you on that day ten years ago?
