I was not able to get in last night, around 9pm or so, did not matter what browser I used , I could not get the Hazzardnet , home of the dukes site, to open and so I could not sign in, no site, no sign in??? Did anyone else have this problem, and if so , anyone know why I could not open the page??? On a lighter note, went to see my doctor, he has me on anti depressants, feels weird taking these, don't like this dopy feeling one bit...lol

Hi Everyone, I'm brand new (literally) to posting in the forum, but I have enjoyed reading them for quite a while. I'm not sure if this is a proper place to put this, but I hope that it is. I spotted a General from the 2005 (and 2007) Dukes movie at the 2009 Car Craft Nats in St Paul, MN. This General was the car that did the drifting scene all the way around Lee circle and was also the only 4-speed car used in the movie! He was also used in the scenes at the end banging fender-to-fender (and door-to-door) with the black Shelby Mustang. He now has a different passenger door, but the rest of it is as it was on the movie - roll cage, hand e-brake, and painted on dirt! …

In addition to being a Duke's fan I'm also a BluesBrothers fan, I've always wanted to see a race between Bo and the General Lee and Elwood Blues and the Bluesmobile. Two great cars a 69 Dodge charger and a 74 Dodge, who do you think would win this race if it took place ? I can't choose I like them both too much to pick a favorite.

YAY First post! Anyhoo, most of you may or may not know that without James Best there would be no Bandit and probably no Dukes Of Hazzard either. How you may ask? Well, if you think about it James Best coached Burt Renyolds and helped him start his acting career. So if James hadn't have been at one time an acting coach and Burt never studied under him Burt might never have become the bandit. Sure the bandit might've been made because of the ideas in the directors head but Burt might never had been included in it along with Jerry. Or Jerry might've been the bandit in all three movies. (Though as much as I love Jerry Reed he just didn't fit the bandit namesake.) Anyway…

The fanfest trip was great! My friends from Sweden, Marie and Linda, rode with me from Arkansas to Tennessee. The drive itself was long, but fun too. We made a few stops along the way, the best one being at Loretta Lynn's Museum. Arrived in Sevierville about 12:30 Friday night and didn't do much more than check into the motel and go to bed. Up bright and early the next day and off to Fanfest. It was great fun getting to meet all of the actors. Ben Jones was very nice, as I'm sure many of you already know. One of his people would take your picture with him, however, he not only did that but took shots while you were standing there talking to Ben, so we each ende…

After Meeting Sheriff little we went to go meet Enos, I tell ya he's a tall son of a gun. He was so nice We gave him a picture of us with him from Dukesfest 2007 with a thank you note on it. I also gave him a picture of 2 patrol cars blocking the General Lee with a thank you note to Enos, he liked it very much. It was cool meeting him for the second time he still has the "Enos" laugh and smile, he autographed my copy of Smokey and the Bandit, The return of The General Lee, our Dukes guide book and our copy of season one. After we met Cooter got his autograph on our stuff and had our picture taken with him we went to meet Hazzard's greatest sheriff, Rosco P. Coltrane, we talked with our friends that we had met on Cooter's line and the wait wasn't too long. We had lunch while waiting to meet James Best (they have great Burgers at the Smokies stadium) then soon after we met James, He was very very nice, He signed my 1:10th scale General Lee on the back because he said he'd never seen the front everybody on line laughed when he said that. First of all I sure did miss all of my friends here and I'm glad to be back. On Wednesday july 15th The drive down was great we saw some of skyline drive and we saw the natural bridge in Virginia. The views were incredible and so breath taking it was wonderful. It took you back to when this country was all land with natural beauty. The next day thursday july 16th we arrived in Tennesse and set up camp at a koa campground, it was nice being out in the woods, no city noise or anything like that just us and mother nature. For quite some time now I've been wondering why anybody hasn't built a real life Boars nest somwhere in the south. A place like Conyers Georgia or near that location where Dukes started would be the ideal location for it . I think it would be awesome if some fans got together to build one. Maybe one day....

Wow, it HAS been a long time since I was here! Since then I have.... -Started my first high-school -Started a new high-school -Started 10th grade -Started 11tg grade -Started 12th grade -Graduated from high-school -Will attend a technical college in January of 2010! I heard that Catherine Bach is going to be in my neck of the woods soon but don't have any more information than that. I googled her website but was unable to find anything out from it. My computer skills are pretty bad so I was wondering if someone else could find out her schedule of public appearances. Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks. By the way, my "neck of the woods" is northwest Pennsylvania and northeast Ohio.

Well there's one more Luke in the world. My daughter had a son on June 15 named Lucas. My daughter and her husband might not be Dukes fans but little Lucas might be destined to be one. After all, he was born on Waylon's birthday......On top of that, we have a dog named Daisy and a cat named Flash. This kid's off to a good start in life!!!!
