Dukes of Hazzard Movies

Hey ya'll I was going though some of my Cd's today and came across a Steve Earle Greatest Hits Album. On there is a song called "Copperhead Road" I dont know what you guys think but Id like to see Steve Earle do a modified version for the Dukes of Hazzard soundtrack. Im sure many people have heard this song and I think it may just go well with the new movie. Maybe a new video too on CMT. Any thoughts? Take care ya'll

I saw the premier out here on monday and yeah the cast aint great, yeah the general is back , but thank those people for givin it to us cause we love the dukes of hazzard. this is for the real fans yall its the fun that counts. I didnt think itwas going to be good too cause of hollywood and all, but when the movie started i really felt good. Let's say one day a movie came along for the Dukes, let's say 100x better than the two we already got. Now, let's say the only really major change they make is they decide to reduce the number of cousins by making someone siblings, like the Duke boys or one of the boys and Daisy. How would you react to a move like that?

I'm not sure (without reading everything) if anyone's posting about this DVD from England, but I managed to find a copy on sale last week in HMV (a British music chain-store) It's quite amusing in places; Luke crying as Daisy tells him about the virginity pledges Loulou stuffing the Turkey with Luke Not sure about a seemingly gay Cooter though???? Finding the General in a pool???, at odds with the boys getting it off a used-car lot in the TV series April Scott as Daisy??? Hot!!!!!!!!! As Mike Myers used to say in 'Waynes World'.... Being new to this board, I'm not sure how much of my opinion I should put forth, but . . . it seems to me like this movie is just another attempt to cash in on 80's nostalgia. I'm a bit of a purist though, and it seems to me like the producers and creators of The Dukes would endear themselves to us more if they made another original tv movie. It would probably go over better than a big screen version with actors we've never heard of or heard of in passing. (IE Jessica Simpson) Wouldn't you rather see John, Tom, Jimmy and Sonny in another movie than see other people play them? Hi fans, I am new to this forum....but have been watching the show since new....I wanted to put my 2 cents here about the movie. I just saw it last night due to a free TX that I got from the purchase of a video set. I unfortunately, have to say I hated the movie. It had no plot line, no follow to the show, and to top it off- it put the dukes in a position of being the mean ones. (I mean as far as wrecking everything). I found the movie to be just for the men who wanted to see Jessica Simpson strut her body around. I give it a thumbs down...fans. I wish they could do a movie with as many of the origionals as they can get and put that on the big screen!…

Other Things happened in Hazzard, likewise there were other people living in Hazzard. Think there ought to be a movie of what the other folks in Hazzard were doing etc. Also While everyone knows the General Lee, did you notice at the few first episodes, Cooter while working in the junk yard drove Starsky & Hutch' Red Torino, with the white strip down the side. Speaking of Cooter how come no one has put up a photo of his tow truck? Both the blue and white one as well as the yellow one?

While its a sure bet that sweet Daisy had the set of limbs all men would love to cuddle, still there were others on the TV show that as sweet a set of legs as Daisy. Huey Hogg' nurse on one episode had a great set, several on episodes did, how many pairs of nylon hose were worn to creat the illusion of perfect legs. Will the babe on the Big screen movie wear nylon hose to trick out her legs, face it niether Miss Spears or Simpson have perfect legs. Maybe there should be a casting call for the perfect legs, from Hazzard County?
