Why not let the Dukes be the Dukes? In the Big Screen movie of the Dukes-of-Hazzard why not cast John and Tom as the Dukes and Daisy(Catherine Bach ) rather than all these pop stars? If the original cast were too old or ugly or both fine, but there will never be anyone that can be the Duke boys better than the original Duke boys. No other female on earth hazz Daisy' legs like Cathy Bach, so why not let her be Daisy? First let me say this is the best site I've found for info about the movie. I'm the part owner of the garage that is being used for Cooter's. The filming started on the afternoon of November 18 and ran until about midnite. It continued after lunch the next day and ran until about 2:30 am. They did not complete all the scenes and must return at a later (to be determined) date. I can let everyone know that David Koechner (Anchorman, My Boss's Daughter) is playing the part of Cooter. went to a website about sean william scott (has great info on movie) filming of the Dukes is scheduled to start Nov 9th in louisiana. one of those teen maguzines PEOPLE ??? had an article about Nick and Jessica's relationship and said that Jessica was currently filming Dukes of Hazzard If this is true it raises a lot of good questions like who was cast as Rosco Cooter Enos???? why film in luisiana it should be at the town sqaure on the backlot at WB in Burbank CA. Or mabe in Georga where the first five episodes where filmed. This movie is starting to sound WACK no wonder BEN JONES was so outraged. the producers don't know what there doing.

Hey Ya'll I have been reading many posts about movie script ideas and I have to say that you guys have some great ideas. I have to say though that I really would like to see the original cast in the big screen version of the movie. My concept would be that If WB insists on new faces as the lead characters, the original cast should be written into the movie to "pass the torch" to the new cast. Now I still believe that there is no real way to replace the original dukes, but if it must be done the only way I can see it on film in my eyes is by passing the torch to the new cast.

Yesterday my husband was driving towards Clinton, La & saw vehicles approaching (on a 1 lane on each side highway) & was like What the Hell? hi. ive been checking out this site and i love it. so i thought id give my 2 cents. my idea for the teaser is this. the teaser starts with some shots of the southern country side. theres a voice over about how nice and peaceful the south is. the camera pans right into the "welcome to hazzard county" sign. as we see the sign the General Lee jumps the sign and we see Bo and Luke driving. they do the yee haw and the dixie horn blows. then we see Roscoe behind them crash the sign. then maybe shots of the cast. they should film this just for a teaser. the thing im looking forward to see most is the jumps. these days the jumps look kick ass, and id like to see a great shot of …

I ran into Paul Walker at Sema in Las Vegas and asked him when the Dukes movie was coming out. He said that he was not cast for the part? The last I heard he had it. Who is playing Bo Duke? Hi, everyone. I'm new to Hazzardnet, but I thought you guys would like an update on the movie from a local. I live in Clinton, LA, where the majority of the movie is to be filmed. Filming is to begin at Cooter's Rebel Repair today at 3:00 p.m. The shop (formerly Red's Body Shop) has been there for many years, but the production crews have updated it quite a bit to look like Cooters. There are camera crews, camera equipment, and 18-wheelers full of stuff everywhere. The production company has practically taken over the local private school. Has there been any word out yet about who will be cast for these roles? If there shooting the movie already, shouldnt they have had the roles cast already? Or at the very least the producers should have a small list of canidates to play those roles. Have we heard any rumors of anyone for those roles?
