Well when we were done with the scene last Saturday they bidded ALL EXTRAS fairwell and gave us a big thankyou. Said the actors would finish up this week and then everyone would be gone. Well this morning I got a call from one of the P A's and he asked me to come back to Clinton for Saturday . Told me to wear the exact same thing from last week. Soooo the filming still goes on. The movie is gonna be action, adventure and comedy (more).with the same theme song. Hopefully more news later

Ok. First of all, I'm sick. I'm sick of this movie. I'm sick of people who now think this lame excuse for a movie is the Dukes of Hazzard and I'm sick of what this stupid movie has done to the image of the Dukes of Hazzard. At this point I think if you enjoyed this movie, you shouldn't have. You should feel ashamed for the way they treated the Dukes. I don't understand how anyone can just stand by and let someone tarnish and mock something you really care about and personally, I really care about this show. I know this post is going to get major response from those of you out there that think this movie is the best thing since cheese in a can, but at the same time …

  4. I was wondering what y'all would want to see in a dukes movie if it featured all the original cast in one last hurrah on the big screen. I would want to see the biggest scam to come through hazzard, one that maybe even concerns residents outside hazzard county, something perhaps on the grandest scale...A Dukes save the world kind of plot I guess. I feel like it would have to be something that would set up everyone leaving afterwards. Daisy falls in love, Cooter starts thinking about politics, Bo and Luke realize their dreams, Rosco saves the day. I just see it making everything come full circle. Your thoughts??

  5. Awright, since the sequel prospects are in limbo - I think it's time we let everybody weigh in. I can't promise that this will shift the odds one way or the other. But looking back on our earliest movie posts, there were rumors about the General Lee having no flag, and there were debates about what music should be on the sountrack, ect. I can't claim that anybody was listening to us. Lookin' back, though, and taking into consideration some of the media contacts we received...it's at least possible that somebody was. So let's make some noise, eh? Maybe we'll send the string to our WB buddies and see what happens. If all else, it may amuse 'em! Brian

I ran into Paul Walker at Sema in Las Vegas and asked him when the Dukes movie was coming out. He said that he was not cast for the part? The last I heard he had it. Who is playing Bo Duke? I haven't kept up with the movie in a while. Thanks I have photos from the car show if anyone is interested. You will see a new look for the General Lee to "Xtreme Lee". http://www.jancecustoms.com/show_coverage.html

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/news/?id=1868&p=.htm 'Dukes' Charge the Top Spot, Emperors 'March' On by Brandon Gray August 8, 2005 With a hand from the Duke cousins, Warner Bros. dominated the weekend, and overall business was on par with the comparable frame last year. The Dukes of Hazzard, Warner Bros.' comedic adaptation of the 1979 to 1985 television show, made its way to a decent $30.7 million at 3,785 locations over the weekend. That's just a little bit more than the industry allowed—expectations were closer to $25 million. The picture's $50 million production budget does not include the $17.5 million Warner Bros. recently agreed to pay the TV show's rights hol…

Now i can safely say that outside of the Fantastic car chases the cast really lifted this …

  13. DUKES OF HAZZARD 2 Producer: Billy Gerber, Phil Goldfine Writer: Shane Morris Director: Bob Berlinger BO DUKE - Lead / MALE / 18 TO 22 / Caucasian He’s 18 to 22 to play 18ish, Caucasian, blonde and charming, yet goofy. I'm new to this so please be gentle with me!! Preview screenings of the new Dukes movie opened today in the UK, (officially opening on Friday 25 Aug). Growing up watching the original series I had mixed feelings about the film. Being a lifelong fan it is great to see the Dukes on the big screen at long last. Although disappointed that none of the original cast were involved. When I arrived at the 10 screen cinema I was the only person in the auditorium! By the time the adverts and trailers had been shown there was a grand total of 10 people, not a good start!!! I felt that the film had a slow start and didn't seem to be going anywhere. Luke was portrayed as a total h…

  16. It has been 21 years since the 2005 movie was released. Like many here, I followed the production avidly in 2004-2005. At the time I was a freshman in college. Today I'm 40 years old. LOL I've always had mixed feelings about the movie. While it might have some entertainment value as a movie by itself, it isn't the movie that the Dukes fanbase had hoped for.

  18. Started by flash,

I fully expect that the success of this movie at the box office will warrant a sequel. I began thinking about a story line, I saw it mentioned that it would be cool to see the original Bo and Luke appear in the movie as villains, which I thought would be cool, but to expand upon this idea, somehow these two villains kidnap the General and low and behold we have the original Bo and Luke back in the General on the big screen. (They would have to make at least one jump of course) trying to escape from Seann and Johnny. Boy I would sure pay to see that! What ya'll think?

  19. Here's very good article that was in this morning Baton Rouge newspaper with the Director Jay Chandrasekhar. http://2theadvocate.com/stories/021805/ent_dukes001.shtml I'll copy & paste here for your reading... Dukes rides again Louisiana played host to cast and crew filming big-screen remake of TV's The Dukes of Hazzard By JOHN WIRT Entertainment writer A rainy day in Louisiana. At the rural set of The Dukes of Hazzard, it's ankle-deep muddy. Like a small army, the Dukes movie cast and crew is occupying a farm in Zachary. Rain forces a change of plans. Instead of shooting outside with Jessica Simpson as Daisy Duke and Seann William Scott and Johnny Knoxville as Bo …

  20. Okay I was searching the web to try to find out what year' Mustang was in The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift, and then I started (naturally) looking at other muscle car info sites and found the General Lee. After a while of reading some more info about The Dukes of Hazzard show I found that there may be a new Dukes of Hazzard Movie coming out straight to dvd called "The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning" here are some links about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dukes_of_Hazzard:_The_Beginning http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0800328/ Check this out!!!

A few other Dukes-related message boards are reporting that the unrated version of 'The Dukes of Hazzard' that will be released on Tuesday along side the theartical released version of the film, is really raunchy. From what I understand, anyone looking to purchase the "unrated" version of the film can expect to hear more profanity, more sexual inuendos, nudity, and drug use. I still have trouble believing that they did this to a movie called 'The Dukes of Hazzard'. GADuke01

  23. i heat the so called (BLEEP) dukes of hazzard movie the tv show is a hell of alot better and funnyer and the tv show is a family show one i would let my kids watch if i had kids but why does that matter no way in hell would i let them see this movie unless they had their own apartment and even then if I knew they watched it I wouldn't speak to them for a year. In the tv show there are no tits hanging out unless you count John and Tom having their shirts off but in the movie all you see are tits i am mad as hell that they make a movie and call it the dukes of hazzard because it is not at all any thing like the tv show the Partridge Family. i grow up watching baseball ever…

Just saw a quick story about the movie on Entertainment tonight. Not very informatinve but showed some pretty cool shots of the General in action. Uncle Jesse apartently drives a blue mid 80's to early 90's Dodge Pick-up truck, and saw Knoxville dressed in Boss Hogg's outfit. Daisy kicks some guy in the chest at the Boars Nest, and it showed Scott filming a scene driving the General by himself. Other than that it didn't show much.
