I wonder if anyone can relate to this. At the end of each episode when the General is going in circles around the trees and the law is in hot pursuit while the credits are running, I actually get sad. I think it comes from the old days when that meant that you had to wait a whole week to see the next episode. (I remember when I was younger feeling the same way about Saturday morning cartoons). Anyway, those feeling are still there today even though I can watch any episode any time I want. For some reason, it still chokes me up to see the show is over. i was wondering if any1 could tell me how many of the chargers were used during filming of the original season? one person told me that there was only two generals used in the entire program from begining to end. i don't see this as being possible. any1 that can answer this for me i will greatly appreciate it.

I was wondering who your favorite character is that only made ONE or TWO apperances on the show. Mine is Abraham Lincoln Hogg but I also liked Loretta Lynn, Cale Yarborough, Rosco's Mama, Cooter's daughter, Swamp Molly, Hard Luck Jones, Tammy Wynette and Milo Beaudry. I'm not sure if Waylon would qualify since he was on every episode. "She don't understand they keep showing my hands and not my face on TV." Miz Tisdale is also one of my favorites but she was on more than 2 episodes. Does anybody know if the Beaudry's were on more than two? Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.

Many younger Duke fans don't know about the 1981 "Dukes of Hazzard Soundtrack" but I'd like to explain the historical (or as Rosco would say "hysterical") significance this had on the show. This 8-track or cassette was the best connection us fans had with the Dukes except for Friday night . We played it over and over because there was no other way to hear a Dukes story being told and we were so thirsty for anything from Hazzard County (in addition to the "toys" that we owned and the pictures from magazines we cherished). We could hear the voices of many of the Hazzard folks on this audio gem and those voices were as important to us as the DVD's are now. This is a true cor…

I can't seem to locate the thread, but recently a few of us had a discussion on where the closest hospital to Hazzard is. In "Comrade Duke" there IS a Hazzard Hospital. The 2 signs for it are only shown briefly so pressing pause is a good idea to catch it. I should say "to catch one of them" since the second sign is barely visible at all. The street is not given but the street number is 1312. I think this is overlooked for two reasons. 1) Of course because the signs appears so briefly. 2) This is a season 5 episode that has Coy and Vance and those episodes haven't been rewatched as often. I think I've seen this with other episodes too but on "Dukes in Danger" I noticed that Luke was turning the 4-way wrench the wrong way. Is this an error or do 1969 Chargers have left handed threads on their lug nuts?

After reading another thread asking if you've ever cried during an episode, I am motivated to ask this question. If you could pick a single scene that put you in Hazzard Heaven, what would it be? I considered the opening scene from season one, episode one. I also thought of the time that the Dukes accepted Boss into their home at the end of "The Great Santa Claus Chase" but my favorite Hazzard Heaven moment came when the boys walked in the door of the Boar's Nest in "Welcome Back Bo 'n Luke". I'm smiling from ear to ear right now just thinking about it.

I've been seeing some orange 01 shirts, and General Lee shirts out there this summer, at county fairs, shindigs, and the state fair. Seen the 01 baseball caps too. It's cool that we're not alone out there. How about ya'll this summer, anybody else see fellow Dukes fans out at shindigs , fairs, car shows? I'm going back watching the TV shows from season 1-7 and am now at the end of season 2. Any idea why James Best (Rosco) wasn't on the show towards the end of season 2 and Rosco was in "training"?

Here's something interesting about Boss. I paused the part in "Baa Baa White Sheep" in which the Sheriff of Finchburg briefly held onto Abraham Lincoln Hogg's drivers license. For date of birth it read April 6, 1926. Since he is Boss's twin this means Boss was only about 54 at that time. Since Boss is supposed to be about the same age as Jesse, this appears to be a blooper since Jesse (and Boss) are clearly much older than 54. Also, Abraham's residency on the license is Hazzard and since he hadn't lived there in decades, that seemed inaccurate. I'm sure the writers didn't put much thought into it at the time because they weren't considering pause buttons. I'm gone.

Howdy Hazzard! Lemme be polite and introduce myself. My name is Emma, and I've been a Dukes fan since high school. My boyfriend at the time was a big fan, so he introduced me to the Dukes. Turns out that now I'm a bigger fan than he is! Now, I need a little help from somebody. My friends and I have been going crazy trying to remember what the name of the Dukes' goat is. You know, the one that seems to be in every exterior shot of the farm. We think it's mentioned in an episode, but we can't recall. Anybody know? No one we talked to at DukesFest knew. Thanks a bunch! Yesterday, there was a tragic shooting at Virginia Tech University. 33 people were killed, including the gunman, and others were injured. It's one of the worst college campus shootings in the U.S. All of our prayers and thoughts go out to the families and friends of all the victims as well as the survivors.

Say I was watching the Disney channel and they had a music Video of some band I didn't know, and the song was called "Get over it." (I think) and as I look the band was dancing around a orange '69 Charger! No lie, has anyone seen this?

Has anybody had any experience sending defective DVDs back to Warner Brothers to get replacements? I'm concerned about not having the receipts plus I let them set around awhile and there may be a time limit on returns.
