Hey yall. I stumbled onto your site a few weeks ago. I figured I'd give yall another update about the movie. I have two friends who are extras in the movie, so I went to watch them while they were filming today in Clinton. All of the stars were there filming a big scene with about 125 extras outside the courthouse. They also did 2 jumps with the General Lee this morning, one small one with a stunt driver, and another long jump with a dummy in the car. It was pretty exciting seeing the filming up close. For what it is worth; I was in New Orleans, LA about 2 weeks ago, and I was privledged enough to witness a couple of stunt scenes for the new movie. Now I only got to see a few stunt actors, and a drifter that was also featured on Rides, Rhys Millen. P.S. The "Xtreme Lee" is kind of a bunk car. They could have taken that thing to a whole new level, even painting black inlay on the rims and making the "01" bigger would have helped. In any case; I saw the costumes for Bo and Luke both. I hope Willie has those awful braided ponytails cut off if he is to play Uncle Jesse!!! Honestly, that is one charactor that shouldnt be fouled up by anyone, especially someone that is not an actor. In my opinion, Jesse was everybodies uncle (eventhough he corrected everyone that called him Uncle Jesse, "I ain't your Uncle Jesse") and the most respected charactor on the show by everyone, all the charactors called him Sir or Mr. Duke. I just hate to see Uncle Jesse get dissed. I don't have a problem with the other cast members, and I know it is being built as a more serious atmosphere, but leave Unlce Jesse, as Uncle Jesse!!! Dan

Wondering, Will white Ford truck be in movie which Uncle Jesse used to drive? I bet they might replace to white Chevrolet or white Dodge Ram like as they did to Movie's Cooter??? Maybe they use different color, multicolor or primed gray? I hope they better not to put Uncle Jesse in tin Nissan, Mazda or Toyota pickup because I heard movie director is Nissan Nut. I know that Willie Nelson is playing Uncle Jesse's role for movie. He is kind of too skinny for this role. I happened watch movie and found a perfect guy for Uncle Jesse's role. His name is Mickey Jones and he fit for this character. He is stocky, with long hair and bear and wear overall. He like to look for revenge with laugh. That's my opinion. By the way, He appeared in Dukes of Hazzard tv show three times. I agree that Danny should play Boss Hogg.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Extreme Lee that was mentioned in a post back in November is being featured on TLC's RIDES this week, airing at 10:00 pm on Tues 1/25 with repeats at 1:00 am on the 26th and 3:00 pm on the 30th. From what I understand they will feature the building of the car on the show.

I would like to become an extra in the movie if possible. How, when, where, or what do I do? Any information would be appreciated.

I saw the cast list for this film the other day and Cletus Hogg,Cherif Little and Miss Tizdale are not on that list . Are they in the film? If so who is playing Them?. Cletus if the only one out of the 3 I would like to be in this film. Maybe he is and I missed that bit of info.

Why have they made Boss Hogg tall and thin in this film. I think Burt will be great as Boss Hogg but he is ment to be short and fat. They should have kept him short and fat.

Hi just found out about the Dukes of Hazzard movie. Was a big fan when I was a kid. Have enjoyed some of the tv shows they have made into films. Not sure when they finish filming but I have been living for the last few months in Sydney Australia enjying the Australian summer and getting away from the Uk winter and I found out That Willie Nellson will be on tour in Australia in Feb. Maybe he has finish his bit in the film. Anyone know anything about his part as Uncle Jessie.

the jukebox needs some music from hazzard in hollywood including main theme"good times " "girls like fast cars too" the jukebox would not be complete also how about the enos theme {i don't think i ever saw that show} i wish there was a video clip of eno's opening credits i might rember then.....

When CMT starts airing the Dukes. During the Marathon will they have a possible sneak preview trailer for the upcoming movie.
