hello fellow duke fans. New member here. Have been a fan of the show for a while now. Use to watch it every night after college class at 12AM on CMT until it went too 7Pm and im in class then But yea the best show on tv. Saw the movie, it was good, but just not the same. Also I live about 2 hrs from covington Georgia where the show was filmed. And Im planning to save up for an old dodge charger and make my own general lee. Josh

I went with my mom to take my aunt for a colostomy. I had gone with my mom when she had hers back in Sept, so i knew what to expect. Hers was a lot different from my moms. They did not put her to sleep, so she felt it alittle. We thought it was because she is on some kind of medicine for breast cancer. She was dianosed a couple of years ago. Her doctor told my mom that they took pollocks out and for my mom and her to meet him in 6 weeks. Is that normal to wait that long? My mom only had to call a couple of days later to find out the results. My aunt is like a second mom to me. I cant lose her. OK, I kinda thought this would be fun: My boyfriend and I recently spent a week in Bradenton, FL with his family. While there, we spotted a General Lee that, well frankly, didn't quite make it as a General. (It was more of a Corporal Lee or something.) In his words, "It was General-Lee bad." (Pun intended. ) We're talking an early seventies vehicle of an undetermined make and model, definitely not a Dodge nor a Charger. Who do you like better drivin the General? Bo or Luke? I like Luke because he really didn't drive much. Dont get me wrong because i love the jumps that Bo makes but its nice to see Luke in the drivers seat. One other question, didn't the boys have another car? I mean like a big red convertable or somthin? I thought i remember it gettin stolen by two girls in an episode of season 1?

I know Sorrell Booke wore a fat suit to appear as large as he needed to for Boss Hogg, but I was just wondering, was the same true for Peggy Rea? I've never heard if she was really that big in real life, I know she wasn't that big on the season 1 DVD but I was just wondering about during the series run was she really that big or did she wear a fat suit like Sorrell?

When I first started watching the Dukes (1st season), my best friend had already seen it (her DVD's), and she told me about Daisy's Jeep, and about her yellow car going over a cliff, so I was actually looking forward to that episode (she didn't tell me which Episode). So I started watching season two, and got to "Arrest Jesse Duke", but the DVD was acting weird and skippy, so I had to skip scenes sometimes. Then the next thing I saw was the Dukes standing beside a Jeep with Dixie on it and Daisy saying that as it was her car she should be the one to drive it. more or less boycotting the Dukes. On the DVD only Daisy and Bo narrate the "behind the scenes" commentary on the first episode. Secondly, when they have the reunion with roscoe, enos, cletidus, daisy, bo, etc Tom Wopat is no where to be found. Is he still mad about the contract dispute and that some of the episodes got kinda cheesy over the years?
