General Discussion

Talk about anything here! Well, ALMOST anything. This IS a family site, ya know... =)

  1. Started by Enos Fan,

I have decided to leave Hazzardnet and go join up at the A-team forum simply because I think that vans are much cooler than the General Lee and fake explosions are more interesting than car jumps. I know that I shouldn't make it a public thing of this, but since I have decided to be honest, that I would just sign off here and say I'll see y'all later. Now, if you really believe that...go and take a long hard look at your calendar!

Most of the DOH seasons are double sided DVDs, and it always seems that the side up seems to get scratched or damaged. There's one side of a disc on Season 1 that won't play at all. And the first time I opened Season 3 yesterday, there was something sticky on the disc. I got the sticky junk off of it, but damaged it in the process. Now one episode skips. Is there a way to buff out the damage or fix it somehow? I still am angry that you can't buy any movies or shows in VHS. If they had released the episodes in EP or SLP on a T-160 tape, you could fit a full season on 2 tapes. Picture quality may not be quite as good, but with a VHS tape at least it will play all the way th…

I just heard that today is his birthday. For those of you who don't know, he was on The Dukes twice. I think it said he was 60 or somethin' like that.

after suffering a bout of I don't know, depression, laziness, maybe even more, I've always been missing something (not to mention a really bad flu **awww***). Oh yeah, Home! Weird as it sounds the Hazzardnet came my home, no thanks to our 2 cousins, lol and I don't mean the Dukes! Its good to come back and see progress ahead, happening, etc. Though now I gotta figure how I'm going to compress poor flash in something more manageable now dang it! wheres that Coltrane fiction?

  7. This started on another Dukes website....The Confederate General Lee Fan Club. Here is the type of Dukes game I would like to see. If interested please read then go click the link and sign the petition. If I get enough sigs I plan on emailing it to various game developers. Here would be my idiea.... -A GTA styled Dukes of Hazzard game. A complete open world, three counties and the city of Atlanta would be available to explore. You'd be able to swim aswell. -Similar to the GTA games you'd have hideouts, or places to live. Obviously the Duke farm would be your home base. I could see Cooters garage as a place to save your game and gather what you need to complete missio…

I'm posting this thread in response to the passing of Anna Nicole Smith which passed away February 8,2007 from a mystery illness and now it all left up either Howard K. Stern or Larry Birkhard to raise little Dannielynn and she only about her mother from whoever raises her and someday she read all the garbage and the good stuff and will wonder what her mother was like.

Went up to get some milk and bread at the grocery store 5 min up the road from home. Pulled in and saw a general lee! It was very clean, not one piece of dirt on it. Had never seen one close up before, was very exciting. I live in the atlanta, GA suberbs BTW, Anyone else seen a general in town?

Hey guys I just had a funny thought. I am a big Nascar fan and I notice that the army's car is #01. Now normally I wouldn't make a big deal about this kind of thing, but I got to thinking.. Is this "Carnal Lee?" I know from history that General Lee was a carnal in the Union army before becoming the Confederate general so as a joke I started to call this car "Carnal Lee.".. So what ya think?

To the Hazzardites in the frozen Northeast right now. Here in PA we got 6 inches of snow plus about an inch of freezing rain and back to snow this morning. I barely made it to work at back yesterday. (I'm a nurse, I can't cancel due to weather). I almost spent the night at the hospital. Today I have off, I ain't going nowhere. I'm planning on cooking and a Dukes marathon, and research on my fanfiction. What's your snowed in plans? Pendragon

http://www.cmt.com/movies/dale/ Dale Earnhardt is an unforgettable part of NASCAR history, and an icon of American culture. He was a true dogfighter without apology. NASCAR races have suffered declining attendance the past few years, and smaller, independent racetracks have closed all over the country. This movie represents more than Earnhardt's life and career - it represents an era of racing and fan devotion that NASCAR dearly needs to recover. But there will never be another Dale Earnhardt. -= 3 =- Brian

I am not out to scare any one of you but this may change your opinions on whether Satan and Angels do really exist! http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/962839/detail.html. Don't pay attention to the writing. Look carefully at the first three pictures and you will see a face that appears to clearly show horns and a grinning smile. The fourth picture clearly shows what appears to be a Angel hovering above a burned out section of the tower. If you look really, really closely, you can see the Angel's Face. http://youtube.com/watch?v=WPpnOSbQQ2o Some more images of Satan. On the video there is also another face clearly defined in smoke but bigger Even though i am not a highl…

http://www.officialdukesofhazzardfanclub.org/ Upgraded some since it was up last. This is the fan club that started a lot of things we have today.Possibly even this website. Definitely the NAGLFC and the CGLFC. Yes Dukes fandom was pretty much unheard of till 1992 when this young fellow Aneesh Sehgal decided to start an Official fan club. Go read the history and you'll see a familiar name. Yes the mega event Dukesfest even sprang from this fan club.

Here we go again folks. Another season of NASCRAP's marketing juggernaut to corporate America. This might be the last season that I actually want to watch the races. I am still in disbelief that a foreign car maker is about to enter the Cup series next year (2007). I under stand that is is putting the pressure on Cup teams to keep up with Toyota's money - which is the richest car maker in the world and they have TON's of money to throw around. The "Car Of Tomorrow" will go forward in 2007 also, drastically changing the way bodies and aero packages will affect the competition. Also another "minor" change, NASCAR going to UNLEADED fuel in 2007, again changing the way the e…

We counted both votes and the results are in. In a landslide victory, Meadowmufn has retained her post as HazzardNet webmaster! Just to be on the safe side, MaryAnne and I conducted a recount. Neither of us changed our vote, so the results are final. Congrats to Meadowmufn! Poly-tiks are simple when there's no opposition. Brian
