  1. I always thought that Daisy was the youngest. I know that Bo was 24, and Luke was slightly older. But then Daisy was the baby, because the boys were always so protective. And all of this is ironic because John Schneider was the "baby" of the group in reality, being only 18 at the time. Then again, I could be totally wrong! (It's been known to happen. ) Emma
  2. I have no idea why they dubbed it, but thank goodness it bugs everyone else, too! I thought I was going nuts. FYI, according to IMDB, June Foray did the voice for Rocky. She also did a bunch of other cartoon voices, including some work on the Smurfs. No proof that she dubbed Terry Lee, but it's an interesting thought! Emma
  3. I'd have to add "Them Good Ol' Boys Are Bad" by John Schneider, which is featured on The Dukes of Hazzard CD. Plus, just about anything off the movie soundtrack (which was the only good thing about that movie). Plus: East Bound and Down - Jerry Reed (I know it's from Smokey and the Bandit, but it's a great driving song.) Gone - Montgomery Gentry (Makes me drive REALLY fast!) Hicktown - Who's that by, again? I forget. I'm sure I'll come up with more later! Emma
  4. OK, I kinda thought this would be fun: My boyfriend and I recently spent a week in Bradenton, FL with his family. While there, we spotted a General Lee that, well frankly, didn't quite make it as a General. (It was more of a Corporal Lee or something.) In his words, "It was General-Lee bad." (Pun intended. ) We're talking an early seventies vehicle of an undetermined make and model, definitely not a Dodge nor a Charger. The orange was all wrong, and the "01" was stenciled on the side in an ugly light blue. But, it's the thought that counts! Now, my idea is to see how many people out there have spotted similar incidents of "General Posers," those that try but, just don't quite make it. I think every small town around the country probably has one! So, post 'em if you got 'em! Photos would be great. And, let's not be mean, folks! This is just for fun! Catch ya later! Emma PS - To the owner of that Florida General, if you're out there somewhere: at least we recognized what you were trying to do!
  5. With all the Dukes fans here on the HNet, surely to goodness NOBODY should have to go to DukesFest alone! My group is always open to new friends, if nothing else! Emma
  6. That's cute as a button! Did you see the mini Boss Hogg that was out there the first day? He was adorable!

  8. See...I knew this was the place to ask. Thanks a bunch, y'all! By the way, B.L., I didn't even know the rooster had a name. Thanks for that tidbit!
  9. Howdy Hazzard! Lemme be polite and introduce myself. My name is Emma, and I've been a Dukes fan since high school. My boyfriend at the time was a big fan, so he introduced me to the Dukes. Turns out that now I'm a bigger fan than he is! Now, I need a little help from somebody. My friends and I have been going crazy trying to remember what the name of the Dukes' goat is. You know, the one that seems to be in every exterior shot of the farm. We think it's mentioned in an episode, but we can't recall. Anybody know? No one we talked to at DukesFest knew. Thanks a bunch! Emma
  10. Thanks so much! Nice pic of Bo, by the way!
  11. I hate to come in like a know-it-all newbie, but I do have two cents to put into the topic. As for the boys having another car, I believe Luke makes a reference to having his own car in the first episode. It's been awhile since I've seen that one, but I think that's correct. As far as why Luke doesn't drive the General that often, my friends and I have a theory: What if Luke was the one driving when the boys got busted for moonshining? So, maybe he still gets a little shaky in high-pressure driving situations. Just a thought! Happy to be in Hazzard! Emma
