When browsing the article linked on the main page (the Basset Hound article wherein Flash is honorably mentioned) I found a link to the name Rosco P Coltrane. Of course I clicked on it, expecting a brief commentary on the character, the show, and the actor. Instead I was greeted by an indepth, accurate-to-episodes page all about Rosco P Coltrane himself. Delighted, I read all the way through until I came to the bottom, whereupon I found an html box of links to a whole series of Dukes of Hazzard Wikipedia pages on people, a couple places, spin-offs and film productions, and what have you. I was over at my cousin's house one day and it was about nine o'clock,(It was summertime so it was just then getting dark. I was in the kitchen with my cousin Drew watching the popcorn pop in the microwave. Yes, it's true. For anyone who missed the announcement on our homepage, the HazzardNet staff (well, most of it ) got together and nominated the employee of the month ( namely, the one who wasn't around to defend herself.) Before anybody does the math, remember that our employee of the month system will probably work on the same calendar principal as our "fan of the month" and our "monthly newsletter." Hello my friends... Yesterday, on September 19th 2006 I went out riding on horse back with a good friend of mine. Her and I have been friends since elementary school and we both share our love for horses. Around 6:00pm we were returning home from our ride, it was a busy time of the day but it was unfortunetly our only route home. I was riding my friends paint horse Sailor and she was riding her other horse, a pinto named Gypsy. Without warning Sailor was suddenly striken from behind by a car. I was thrown from her back and landed rather hard on the shoulder of the road. I was rushed to the Emergency room and luckily only sustained a large bruise on my head and many oth…

I like checking out the youth art exhibits at the county fairs, because ya find out what's on the minds of kids these days. So when I came across this one, it was a reassuring sight. The kid wrote the chorus to "Good Ol' Boys" at the top of the drawing, and then had a little text ballon with "yeehaa" coming from the driver. Ain't that cute? Got a blue ribbon, too.

It was allright. I got to spend time with my nephews (5 & 3) which have moved away so I dont get to see them as much as i did. I realized that i'm getting too old to play with them. My mom is mad at my sister, brother in law, brother and me, because they took me to get a tattoo for my birthday, (I'll be 26 the 29th.) I got a dophin on my inner right ankle. They also took me somewhere to get my halr cut and dyed black (I used to be a blond). My brother Josh got his son's name tattooed on his arm, and she still got mad at him. THat is pretty much it. My mom got mad at us. I spent money. All in all it was a good trip. Better than the times in Florida. I missed you all. …

I am grateful for all the kind words and feedback for my story "The Dukes: The Hogg Strikes back that all of you have left. I am going to finish this screenplay in a couple of weeks. There is a reason for that. 5 weeks ago, my mother was diagnosed with Cancer. She passed on this past Saturday and now resides with the Lord. I miss her so much. She was 55. They say the hardest death to take is that of your mother, and I am inclined to agree. I am on a fast track I believe to finish all of the projects I have started and start actively trying to get them made. I have a wild idea, that will include all the denizens of Hazzard Net, but I am not sure that it will work...m…

I read in a tv guide from my sunday paper about a new made for tv dukes movie or show called The Dukes of Hazzard a new beginning coming out next year. Has anybody heard anything about it?

But this is such exciting news for me I had to share. As some of you know, I applied last year for the nursing program at the college near by home. Well, today I got the acceptence letter. I can't wait you the relief I've felt knowing that I start the actual nursing clinicals in the fall. I've been going through some major angst in my life and getting into this program is a BIG step in the direction I want to be heading. It also means in less than a year, since I've been taking most of the non-nursing credits in the meantime, I'll be an RN. The downside of this is it may seriously cut into my Hazzard time.
