Reading about Jaak's General Lee Pushbar and wheels I wondered, what do the people of HazzardNet like the most of have on their General Lee? Basically what is your Dream General Lee? I'd like to know. Here's my preferences. 1969 Dodge Charger R/T in Big Bad Orange (I know General Lee wasn't an R/T) Ford Racing V8 No trim on wheel well and roof Early season General Lee lettering Georgia spacing of the 01 (Further apart than most) Small Pushbar (I like it more and wide one isn't even allowed in my country) BFGoodrich Radial T/A tyres with the white text on the outside Roll bar with the crossbar like in most seasons. I know at one time the General Lee was black. What episode was that. I have got the season one disc set but no black General Lee on it. Someone let me know whren it was black.

For people that don't know the car, I own a 1969 Dodge Charger and made a LEE1-replica out of it. Not 100% accurate, but comes very close. Hello I am new to this Forum but did try to get on a few months ago and couldnt. I gave it another try so here I am. I own two original Warner Brothers General Lees from the Dukes 2005 movie. I am on my I-phone but when I get home I will try to post a few pictures of them. I have lots of cool pictures of Warner Brothers cars I will also try to post. The cars are lots of fun and are driven often. Both are 383 cars but they have different roll cages and interiors.

Hey yall. I went to Gatlinburg, TN to see Cooters Dukes Of Hazzard museum. IT WAS FREAKIN AWESOME!!! I got to sit in a ORIGINAL General Lee for only $5. I also saw Rosco's Patrol Car and Cooter's Tow Truck. I highly recommend everyone here on Hazzardnet to visit. If anyone here has been there what are your oppinions?

Hello again everyone, My 69' Charger is coming along nicely in becoming a "General." As I think what to invest in next for it, I have begun looking at the wheels/rims. I'm seeing a lot of variation in wheel width. I know to shoot for the 15' inch diameter, but what was the correct wheel width used for the Generals during the T.V. show? In other words: 15 X 8' in the rear, and, 15 X 6' in the front? Any info, pics, ect. would be greatly appreciated! I'm sure most of you have seen this, as have I, but I just thought I post it. The very first car to be deemed, "General Lee". I just hope the photo works.

Does anyone know what type of engine/transmission that the General was supposed to have? I know that the Duke boys built an engine and then found the Charger to put it in, but what was the make/displacement of it?

I'm planning on making a General Lee for a 1:18 Scale RC Car that I have.... Actually, I have a few of these Cars, and am planning to make something for each of them....more on that later, possibly.... real or not?i have been trying to buy this car for nearly 10 years.it has sat so long that trees are growing through the engine compartment.at one time it was told by a prior owner that he purchased it from warner bros and had the paperwork but after being passed back and forth 10 years ago between 3 owners it got lost. notice the lack of the roll bar [episode 2,daisys song? edit.... ok wont post a pic..how do i do that so you guys can look at it?

I saw the ORIGINAL general lee recently at a car show It was the car that the doh version was based on It was a 1940 Ford Mustang with a confederate flag painted as if it was draped over the hood and over the trunk, with a pic of the general lee on the doors on the roof (where general lee is written on the doh version) is the phrase "This man fought for our country, our rights and our lives. We must remember him at all costs." it was sweet, but not a good as the charger version here is a stock 40 mustang

Hi everyone, I am new here I just thought I would stop by and say hi! as I just bought a complete 1969 Dodge Charger this past Tuesday it has sat in a garage for 17 years and still has its original red paint and very minor rust which I can repair ( I own a Towing & Automotive repair shop) and I am a Mopar freak through and through! HI there, can anyone please advise me re. the Dixie horn? I know the JC Whitney one,and the correct number ofr it etc etc, but it would cost me a lot ot get one shipped over here to the UK. Ebay UK has a lot of more reasonably priced horns that seem to be made by 'Fisa'; can anyone please advise as to whether these are any good, and if they play the correct 12 note tune? Many thanks! I mean, there are the obvious stuff like the 01 and General Lee and confederate flag and everything, but could someone please list out for me everything that sets General Lee apart from a plain jane 69 Charger? I plan on building one after I finish my current project(67 Mustang). I love building cars and it only makes sense that I build a General Lee since I love the show and car so much. So please give me any and all specs you guys have so I can make it as accurate as possible. And if at all possible, let me know where I can get some of the rarer parts(like the wheels, etc.). Are there any General Lee owners on this site have any really good, clean pictures of their General that they would like to post up? I did some searching on google but suprisingly most of the pics I found were not that great of quality.

Go to www.teamraymotorsports.com somebody painted a 2004 like a General Lee but they say it's pretty fast it can be all yours for 18,000 dollars if you want it.

Last Night i was watching tv land. It had a show about the top 10 tv cars. The General Lee came 2nd followed by Kitt who was 3rd. The number 1 car was the batmoble. Can you believe a bat beat out the general lee. Something was wrong with that. Jessi Duke 8)

I just now noticed that on the back of the General, there are two flags, the rebel flag, and a checkered flag, crossed... Random, but I realized that watching One Armed Bandits the other day! Awesome!

Hey y'all I saw a post on CGLFC about Lee 2 and how it had concrete in the trunk.Now I thought Lee 1 wasn't crushed because it had concrete in the trunk.If that's the case then what happened to Lee 2,the jumped Mary Kayes car,the police car that jumped with Mary Kayes car ,and Lee 5? And I also remember reading somewhere that Cliff Shaw (the junkyard owner) got around 50 cars when Dukes finished in Georgia.Somehow I find this hard to believe because that means that practically everyone car used would have a double,and both of them sold off to Cliff.Does anybody know anything about the number of cars that Cliff got? What was the Generals highest jump?? What about the longest jump??? Were there any records broken here for longest or highest car jump/stunt?? - just wandering.

Is the CB radio in the General Lee in the old TV series a Cobra 77x or 78x? I seem to remember reading that the Cobra 78x was used in the TV series but want to be sure.

As many of those cars that got jumped and wrecked, surely, surely, some how, some of them have survived, and not been fixed, and some guy somewhere, has a wrecked one on his property somewhere, he tells a story like "this one was used in the jump in episode blah blah...." Surely, theres a guy like that somewhere, who has as wrecked General Lee, just one of the many random Chargers, painted up like the General Lee, and then jumped, and then scrapped. I assume, they used parts from some of them, and many were sold to junk yards and or whatever the case may have been....... but, surely, some have survived and are just sitting around somewhere, wrecked still from the jumps?…
