I was thinking about other people who could have been Daisy Duke and one name I am thinking of is Dana Delany, the star of "China Beach". She was 22 when "The Dukes of Hazzard" was cast, so she could have been cast. However, there are things that could have prevented her from being cast, besides Catherine Bach. Ms. Delany was barely out of college at that time and didn't have any experience in front of the camera as far as I know. Hi folks, Even though I'm a big fan of Dukes of Hazzard, I haven't seen every episode (due to the erratic scheduling of vintage TV shows in the UK). Catherine is in the hospital due to an embolism, likely a complication from recent surgery. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. John Schneider gave an update saying it sounds like she's doing well.

I just wanted to share with ya'all I met her this past weekend in Novi Mi. She is a very nice person and i got my picture with her and got to talk to her a little. She did not seem too different than she did on the show at all. She seems like a real sweetheart!! She loved my Dukes shirt I had on too!!!
