I only discovered this British funk band just after Christmas, even though they're already on their fourth album. Their music is a mixture of instrumentals and vocal tracks. Theme From Last Man On Earth - Big Boss Man

This is much better, thank you. I normally set it to show all content updates (posts) in the previous 24 hours. Would it be possible to have options like the previous version of the software, or to remember my custom settings? I'd be happy with the standard dark blue background. I think the orange border is enough to highlight the quote. It seems to be an element/class called "ipsType_sectionHead" (the same class is used for the "Edit Stream Settings" heading). Another one which displays as black on dark blue is "ipsType_pageTitle ipsType_largeTitle". Is there any chance it could be a different color from the main message text, maybe gray or light blue?

We're only just into February, and we've already lost another big name in music. This time it's founder member of Earth, Wind and Fire, Maurice White. Here's one of their best known songs. September - Earth, Wind & Fire R.I.P. Maurice White (December 19, 1941 – February 3/4, 2016)

Roth, the picture on the Cooter's Place website suggests that the DVD is NTSC region 1. Just thought I'd mention this in case you can only play region 2.

The video size was more of a surprise than a problem! The quote above is displaying as black on dark blue in the editing window. I assume it will be white on dark blue when I post it. Three quick issues with the profile page: there seems to be an image missing from the corner of the avatar (unless I'm meant to upload something); the "0 warning points" is black on blue; should there be something in the white circle I've arrowed in the center? PS. The message that says when a post was last edited could be more subtle. Maybe not bold and in a darker color. Even smaller would be still be fine. I've also just noticed that the "Reason for edit" box is white on white.

After making my first post with the new software, I was disappointed to find that there's no preview option before you hit "Submit Reply". I used to preview every post to make sure they'd look right (and to check my spelling). As I mentioned in the post above, the old version of this software gave unpredictable results, so a preview was essential. As yet, I have no idea how this new software handles BBCode, embedded videos and so on, so I think a preview button is a must. The old software also had a way to switch between WYSIWYG and code views in the reply window. Following on from my point 5, above, if we go down the icon route, we'll also need one for "Edit". On a positve note, large images can now be shown full-size at the click of a mouse, and the strange right-click behavior I had when using the old software in Firefox seems to have gone.

Congratulations on the upgrade, Meadowmufn. I'd nearly forgotten how much I missed the white on blue color scheme! I'm still finding my way around, so I'll probably answer some of my questions myself. Here are a few comments/suggested tweaks to be going on with. 1) Other than the sidebar on the forum homepage, I haven't found a way to list recent posts. The old version let you see all posts from the past day/week/month etc., or unread posts. I thought this was an improvement over the vBulletin forum software, but I can't find the "New Posts" option in the new layout. 2) Are the circular avatars staying? I've never been convinced by them on other sites such as Google+. If they are, I'll have to edit mine as it's currently being cropped. 3) Embedded YouTube videos are huge! Only time will tell if I get used to them being so big. 4) A few signatures which contain images aren't displaying correctly - the example below belongs to Garrett Duke (obviously it will be up to Garrett to change the text color). 5) Staying close to the post footers, is there any chance that we could have something to separate the post from the signature? Depending on the signature, it can be confusing where the post ends and the signature starts. In the example below, I've just added a simple white line. You'll notice that I've also altered the word "Quote" to an icon. For consistency, I think it should either be two icons, or the words "Multi" and "Quote". I've also just noticed that there needs to be a space and possibly a colon between the word "Location" and the member's location. I'll leave it there for now. I had a few other issues with the previous version of this forum software in the way it handled BBCode, images and videos. Sometimes posts would preview correctly and then still come out wrong. Only time will tell.

I asked a question about Carlene Watkins in the Trivia thread about three years ago. Here are screengrabs from the two 'Cheers' spin-offs she appeared in - 'The Tortellis' in 1987 (left) and 'Frasier' in 1997 (right). After three roles in 1997, there's a 13 year gap in Carlene's acting history. Her last credit was for a part in a 2010 TV movie, 'Women Without Men'.

That'll be Carlene Watkins, and I agree. Here's a collection of screengrabs from 'High Octane' which I've previously posted elsewhere on HNet. I'm sure no one will mind seeing it again .

I'm not familiar with the word "Rymes" either, and can't see why it should be capitalized. Of course, it can be a name, as with the singer LeAnn Rimes, and Rymes is a variant spelling of that. The spell checker is most likely built into your device. It's possible to turn it off, or reduce the agressiveness, but the method and options available will vary depending on the make, model and operating system. If you want to change the settings, I can look up instructions if you tell me what type of tablet you're using.

The Official Dukes of Hazzard Trivia Thread
HossC replied to Meadowmufn's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Trivia
Despite the fact that my Dukes of Hazzard viewing has been sadly neglected for a while now, I do know the answer to this one, but I'll give some of the newer members a chance first.- 3,820 replies

ZZ Top "She's got legs, she knows how to use them." That's the second time I've mentioned ZZ Top on HNet this week .

So your spell checker corrects "Bo" to "No", but didn't spot the misspelling of "rhymes" . I don't mind programs suggesting that I've spelled something wrong as they're often typos, but ones that correct things without asking annoy me.

According to a tweet from his son, Merle Haggard is just recovering from pneumonia. That's good news because, as Justin said, we've already lost too many musicians since Christmas. Lemmy, the frontman of Motörhead died at the end of December, and David Bowie and Glenn Frey passed in January. Just this week we've lost Colin Vearncombe, better known as Black, who had a hit with "Wonderful Life", and Paul Kantner, who was a co-founder of Jefferson Airplane. Outside of the music world, January 2016 has also seen the deaths of actors Alan Rickman and Dan Haggerty. It hasn't been the best start to a year.

You can get JS Torrent for your Chromebook, but it looks like it might cost you around $3. I don't know which version of Linux you're running, but there's probably a BitTorrent client available - just Google it! Obviously, you should only use these to download legal items like Ubuntu ISOs, and not illegal music and movies. You can often get the DVD for just over $10 on eBay - I recommend saving up .

If you take Cooter's character from the Georgia episodes, I could see him as a drummer in the style of Animal from The Muppets or Keith Moon from The Who . Maybe Uncle Jesse could join ZZ Top, although he'd had to grow his beard!

Farm I believe Old M(a)cDonald had one .

It also appears to be available on DVD from Amazon and eBay ($11-$15, Cooter's is $20). As far as I know, Moonrunners has never been officially released on DVD, and all the versions you can buy are likely to be VHS transfers, probably on DVD-R. There are dozens of listings on YouTube which claim to show the full movie, but they all seem to be plugging links to other sites, which I don't trust. I think I originally saw the movie on YouTube, so keep an eye out - a genuine copy may get reposted.

Hey, don't knock it. I made an apple, a kite, a dead rat, twelve marbles, part of a jews-harp, a piece of blue bottle-glass to look through, a spool cannon, a key that wouldn't unlock anything, a fragment of chalk, a glass stopper of a decanter, a tin soldier, a couple of tadpoles, six fire-crackers, a kitten with only one eye, a brass doorknob, a dog-collar -- but no dog -- the handle of a knife, four pieces of orange-peel, and a dilapidated old window sash out of that deal .

Thanks for updating us, Jason. I have to agree, the body looks much better now that it's all in one color. It's almost ready for Cale Yarborough . -
Today the news broke of the death of another Duke. This was the Thin White Duke aka David Bowie. He released his final album, Blackstar, last Friday, which was his 69th birthday. RIP David Robert Jones (8 January 1947 – 10 January 2016). Starman - David Bowie Fame - David Bowie
