I assume they're talking about 'Redneck Boy in the Promised Land: The Confessions of "Crazy Cooter"'. It came out in 2008.

Max Verstappen took pole for the Italian Grand Prix with Lando Norris just ahead of team mate Oscar Piastri. The Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton were next in front of their home crowd, the famous Tifosi, but Lewis had a 5-place grid penalty from the previous race weekend, so started 10th. Max's pole lap was the fastest in F1 history with an average speed of 164.466mph. Sadly for Nico Hulkenberg he was told to retire his Sauber on the way to the grid. At the start, Lando pulled alongside Max at the first corner, and although Max left the corner first, he was told by his team to give Lando the place to avoid a penalty as he'd left the track to keep the position. Charles also passed Oscar, but Oscar soon regained the place. Max also retook the lead on lap 4. Late in the race when McLaren made their pit stops they had a problem with Lando's wheel which dropped him behind Oscar. Much to Max's amusement, Oscar was told to let Lando past. Max went on to take his third win of the year with Lando and Oscar behind. The win also set a record for the fastest F1 race in history at just 1 hour 13 minutes and 24.325 seconds. George Russell was fifth, sandwiched between the Ferraris of Charles and Lewis. Finishing second with his team mate in third, Lando narrowed the gap in the drivers' to 31 points. You can see the race highlights here. The next race is the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku in two weeks.

A couple of pieces of F1 news. Firstly, Cadillac F1 recently announced F1 veterans Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez will be their drivers next season. Now they've added IndyCar race winner Colton Herta as their test driver. Secondly, Irish driver Alex Dunne gets his second chance to drive an F1 McLaren in the first practice session this weekend at Monza.

F1 was back from its summer break yesterday with the Dutch Grand Prix. Unlike other F1 tracks, Zandvoort has banked curves. Lando Norris was quickest in practice, but his team mate Oscar Piastri claimed pole by 12 thousandths of a second. Local favorite Max Verstappen started third. Oscar kept his lead at the start, but Max got past Lando on the opening lap. Lando got his second place back on lap 9. Rain threatened to disrupt the race, but none of the teams felt the need to fit wet weather tires. However, Lewis Hamilton went slightly wide on one of the damp banked corners and hit the barrier ending his race. It was a bad day for Ferrari as Charles Leclerc also had to retire when Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli clipped his car and spun it off. It looked like being another McLaren 1-2 finish until Lando's engine failed with just seven laps to go. That promoted Max to second behind Oscar and gave RB driver Isack Hadjar his first F1 podium finish. With three of the top cars out, Red Bull, Aston Martin and Haas all had both cars scoring points. With nine races to go, Oscar now has a commanding lead of 34 points over Lando. Most teams will be fitting new engines for next week's Italian Grand Prix at Monza. You can watch the highlights of the Dutch Grand Prix here.

I saw the phrase "Tír na nÓg" (it means "Land of Youth") painted on several buildings, and the bar was advertising "Ceol Anocht" ("Music Tonight"), but I don't think it was the Celtic Women. It was probably traditional Irish music, but we had food waiting at the house, so we didn't stay to find out. Just to keep you happy, Roger:

I'm just back from a couple of days in Connemara - a scenic region in Co. Galway on the Atlantic west coast of Ireland. I went as part of a group, and we all had a very enjoyable trip despite the miserable weather yesterday. The area is part of a Gaeltacht - a region where Irish is the first language, and very few of the road signs are in English, although everyone speaks English. Last night several of us went for a drink at the nearby Hooker Bar, but don't worry, the pub is over 200 years old and is named after the Galway hooker - a traditional fishing boat used in Galway Bay.

Custard I had apple pie and custard this afternoon.

I've pretty much answered this question in the Bloopers thread. The narrow push bar was an off-the-shelf part for pickup trucks and was only welded to the bumper. The wider push bar was custom-made and welded to the chassis making it much stronger. If you click the link you'll see where one of the narrow push bars fell off at the start of 'My Son, Bo Hogg'.

They don't even use the same car throughout 'Twin Trouble' - at least two different cars are used if you compare the front corner lights. It's probably safe to say that the car that was rolled wasn't used again. I think all of the cars in question are 1967 Chevy 4-door sedans. I'm surprised that you didn't spot another blue 1967 Chevy 4-door sedan being driven by Mary Lou Tompkins in 'A Baby for the Dukes' earlier in season 6. That one survived, so it could've been used in later episodes. They were most likely Impalas, but some could've been Bel Airs and Biscaynes. A couple appear to have the Sport Sedan body. Like with your previous questions about cars being the same across episodes, I think all we can say is they were similar. If they didn't get wrecked, they may have been reused.

After Boss' brakes go out, Vance apparently stops his car by simply pressing the clutch. Vance previous told Boss "...what you gotta do is try to slowly downshift into first gear. And then let the gears slow you down.". All we see is him depressing the clutch but never raising it again as you would to shift gears with a stick transmission. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the 1970 Cadillac DeVille only came with an automatic transmission, so it wouldn't have a clutch pedal anyway.

Christopher MAYER Surprisingly, no one has used his name before.

I was just watching a season 3 episode of The Fall Guy called 'Pirates of Nashville'. The main storyline was about bootlegged Country records, so Colt and gang had to fly to Nashville and visit The Grand Ole Opry. The first singer they met was Dottie West - one of Boss' Celebrity Speed Trap victims. A couple of others like Mickey Gilley were mentioned, but not seen. Then Charlie Daniels and his band showed up to perform 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia'. The episode also featured Miriam Byrd-Nethery who appeared in two episodes of Dukes. The episode finished with Colt losing a bet and having to sing the show's theme song which was portrayed as having been written by Howie. I'm no expert on Tennessee geography, but the street signs in the urban car chase looked suspiciously like the ones in LA, and the out-of-town chase went down roads lined with white fencing that were very like the ones often seen in Dukes (e.g. W Potrero Road in Westlake Village).

I only watched the scene around the impound yard, but most of those stores are on French Street. You can see towards Boss' bank when the boys escape jail, but the bank is blocked by a truck. You can also see a redressed Rhuebottoms and paint store in the background when Sheriff Little crashes through the fence. The building with the fence is redressed as different businesses in several episodes.

Midwest Street (Hazzard Square) played Springville in 'Deputy Dukes'. Can you give examples of episodes where the town in Chickasaw appeared and I should be able to tell you where they were filmed. I think they generally used French Street for Chickasaw, which is the one behind the the courthouse between Midwest Street and New York Street.

Cooter claimed to have tuned EDELBROCKS in his 'shine running car in 'Mary Kaye's Baby'. (A few brand names crept into the early episodes)
