  1. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  2. Thanks for your analysis Garrett. You sure know your NASCAR. I hope Jeff Gordon gets back in it so the rest of the Chase is a little more exciting for you. He only needs one race to turn things around. (of course once you turn things around you have to keep them going in the right direction). At least your NASCAR season is still going on. David Ragen was out of it a long time ago. Now I have to wait several months for the real excitement to begin.....me beating you in fantasy NASCAR. I'm going to be facing the difficult decision of dumping DR as my fave. In every other sport I've been loyal to the same (Pittsburgh) teams my whole life but NASCAR is a little more complicated. It would be easy if Cale Yarborough was still racing...LOL
  3. Sorry for your loss Jami Lee.
  4. Hoss and BL got it right. It would be fun to try and answer a question for a change. Any chance we could take turns?

  6. Enos was sitting in the patrol car praying and gathering his thoughts. Seconds later the ambulance rounded the corner ahead of him, heading off to the hospital. Enos put his car in drive then noticed Daisy's Jeep Dixie approaching in his rear view mirror. He stopped, put his car in drive and waited for them, knowing they hadn't got there quick enough to see the ambulance before it rounded the corner up ahead. Daisy and Jesse got out and looked over the General Lee. Enos walked over to them. "Um, Uncle Jesse sir....um, Daisy....there's something you should know. There might be a little more to this story than meets the eye." cue anyone
  7. I heard a commentator say that the next six tracks heavily favor Jimmie Johnson when you look at past performances. I'm not sure but I think it was someone on ESPN. I know it wasn't Brad Dougherty....LOL Whatcha think Garrett? JJ got it wrapped up? Don't answer that. I know you think JG's taking it all. That's okay I'm still hoping for a David Ragen win. Come on buddy...I know you're not in the running for the Chase but please....just one win. Is that too much to ask for? Go ahead and say it Garrett....yes it is.
  8. Hoss and BL got it right. It's 1090. Fill in the blank with a last name... Ma (blank) lives in Chickasaw County with her three boys. (BTW, these "boys" are really full grown men)

  10. Jimmie is certainly right. Words can't describe how a person feels after such a devastating loss. The only thing that can truly heal is time....but other things help.....like remembering all the good things and thanking God that Sadie had the best home a dog could have and lived a happy life full of love. It's too bad all dogs aren't as lucky as she was. You have our condolences, prayers and *hugs*
  11. Thanks for the update Garrett. It's always tough to watch a wreck like that. I was on the road all day so didn't see any sports at all on Sunday but the replay was even being shown on CNN and HLN. Thanks for the golf cart pictures Hoss....funny!

  13. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  14. After making the ambulance call Enos leaned on the General's front fender and looked to his patrol car, trying to calm himself down while talking to himself...."Now get ahold of yourself. You're a sworn officer of the law and you have been trained to do the right thing in every emergency situation imaginable." He stepped over to the General Lee and looked at Luke then whispered to himself "But they sure never told us what to do in a moment like this."
  15. Garrett might not be happy about the NASCAR thread being hijacked (and I promise to get back to the subject) but I just have to say.... This is hilarious. Hoss, maybe you could use that fan art stuff you do and make up a golf cart to look like Jeff Gordon's car. That should make Garrett happy.
  16. As I recall his opponent in "In this corner Luke Duke" had been a boxer in real life. I do remember hearing Tom tell the story about the fight scene....ouch!

  18. That's funny Hoss but folks in Hazzard County don't really care about golf so go ahead and enjoy the win. LOL Now, if there was a race that gave out a Rider Cup we might be interested. (or a Driver Cup would be even better) Poor Garrett. I turned the football thread into a baseball thread and now the NASCAR thread has become a golf thread.
  19. Congratulations on your big Monday night win vs the Cowboys Garrett. I was thinking of you when I heard the score this morning.

  21. Good to hear from you wekke.
  22. "flaw in the slaw" Khee Khee I love it! Thanks for the update Garrett. I switched over to the race during commercials but I'm too wrapped up in baseball to pay too much attention to it....especially since I'm doing well in my fantasy league (not the private league you were in but the public league I am also in). Congratulations on JG finishing second. I was thinking of you every time they talked about him.
  23. I'm pretty excited at the moment. Hopefully I'll win my first ever championship in fantasy sports. I've only been playing three years but second place in basketball is the best I've ever done. As I sit here watching the Rangers-Angels game it's in the bottom of the sixth. Two of my opponents players are Mike Trout and Adrian Beltre. The entire season comes down to those two guys. If neither one of them hits a home run the rest of the game I win the championship. If one of them does, we'll be tied 5-5 in statistical catagories and I won't know until morning who is champ because I don't know who has the tie breaker. Wish me luck.
