    Dallas

I didn't think they could pull it off but the new Dallas exceeded all my expectations. I'm only sorry it's over for now. I don't think the new episodes come out for months....hmm.....I think my wife heard it was January or something. They sure had me fooled with Rebecca. I never would have guessed who her father was.
  3. Well I said I wasn't going to do football anymore but if you're the commmisioner I just mght reconsider.

    First Job

Not counting things like mowing yards and doing all kinds of odd jobs, my first real job was skinning muskrats.
  5. Welcome to the HazzardNet! I love West Virginia. My daughter and her family live in the eastern part of the state and my other daughter used to live in Morgantown. Go Mountaineers!
  6. rock (no, ya don't)
  7. I missed ya BL *HUGS*

  8. I sure missed you buddy *HUGS*

  9. Congratulations Carlos! We sure love having you here!
  10. This is awesome! It's so good to hear from you. You were the first person I ever became friends with here and you'll always hold a special place in my Hazzard heart! *HUGS* Believe it or not, I was just thinking about you at 2:00 today because I met a guy visiting from England. (his brother is going to a university here)
  11. pen (Hey BL, go up to General Discussion and check out Hazzard High Sports)
  12. BL Davenport brought up an interesting subject in the trivia thread. Hazzard High School must have a mascot name but it never came up in the series. If you were able to name Hazzard's team what would it be? Hazzard Hornets? Hazzard Rebels? Hazzard Patriots? Hazzard Hillbillies? Hazzard Wildcats? Hazzard Hawks? Let's hear other suggestions.

  14. BL, K-Duke 15 and Hoss got my question right. It's Morgan's Airfield. That's a good question BL. I don't know of any mascot name. I'm not a fan of the reunion shows but I wonder if it came up there...it didn't that I know of. I guess it's one of those things we'll never know.

  16. Thanks Garrett. I'm still struggling with this mouse. Well, I guess it isn't called a mouse. It's a laptop so it's just a flat spot that you rub your finger on. I'm the type of person who doesn't like change but I'll adjust since I have no choice. It looks like I have a lot to catch up on, including bragging about my Pittsburgh Pirates. I'm almost afraid to check up on your NASCAR thread. I suspect David Ragen hasn't gotten any better since I've been gone.
  17. We just got our new computer running!
  18. Well Hobie I'm not going to be drinking any shine for breakfast to celebrate your return but I'm sure glad you're back!
  19. We've been dragging our feet on the new computer so I'm not sure how much longer it's going to be before I'm back. I'm at my daughter's house right now. Her husband is the computer engineer I was talking about. Unfortunately he's not home right now and has been working 12 hour days 7 days a week on a big project and hasn't been able to help us pick up a new computer, hook it up and install the virus protection. It could be awhile before I'm up and running again. The only thing I really miss the computer for is HazzardNet so I'm not really pushing the issue too much but my wife is really missing her Facebook so I'm guessing she'll be going to a plan B real quick if my son-in-law can't help.
  20. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  21. Welcome to the HazzardNet. I'm having computer troubles but I'll check out your idea when I get back. It looked interesting!

  22. Shucks, I was hoping you didn't notice. By the way, if you see the thread "Blue Screen of Death" you'll notice I'll be offline for awhile. As soon as it gets fixed I'll be back to tease you more about the Cubs.
  23. It looks like our 10 year old Dell has breathed its last. While viewing a newspaper website it started acting up and apparently it is now toast. After describing it to people I've been told that I have witnessed the dreaded "blue screen of death" and it's time to go computer shopping. I still have to consult my son-in-law who is a computer engineer but there's a chance I'll be out of the HazzardNet loop for a few days (or longer). I'm typing this on a computer somewhere else but don't have a lot of access to other computers so I'll be back after I'm back online at home. I wonder if there would have been computers in Hazzard and the Rosco's would have crashed if he would have said...."That was a horrendous crash. It would have kilt 10 ordinary computers"
  24. Nice work. I love the moonshiners jugs on the front fender!
  25. Wow! I would have given $200 bucks for that with a promise of legitimacy. I really would like to get a momento of Denver Pyle's but don't know how to go about it. I contacted his son in California and he suggested to contact Denver's third wife who controlled his estate. He said he wasn't permitted to give any information on her whereabouts and I never found her. Ray Kohn owns the doorknob to Jesse's bedroom from the Georgia episodes but it's not for sale.
