I'm not sure if I'll root for anybody. I may just focus on my fantasy team. It seems like a lot of people are doing that since fantasy sports have become popular. Since I'm so devoted to teams from Pittsburgh I'll always be loyal to them but I have no loyalties in NASCAR so maybe I'll just focus on beating Garrett. I'd better start learning more about NASCAR before next season if I'm going to take on that lofty goal.
I'm going to be taking another one of my computer breaks. I'm not sure when I'll be back. Sometimes a person just needs to get away from everything and this is one of those times for me.
I hope you're right and next year is better for David Ragen but if his situation hasn't changed by then I'm going to have a dilemma. Should he still be my favorite driver? I'd feel bad to abandon him but I won't be too excited about rooting for a guy who rarely finishes in the top 25..... Maybe I'll become a Dale Jr fan. All that really matters is beating you in fantasy NASCAR
Thanks for these interesting shots Hoss. And thanks for the Griffith observatory picture. I know I've been complaining about the new street light of my neighbors but having the Los Angeles skyline near your observing sight would be a lot worse....of course when they originally built it, light pollution wasn't that big of a problem.
Thanks for the update Garrett. I'm happy to hear my prediction was close but sad to hear that your man JG didn't finish top ten. Well, I'll say it once more....he's better than David Ragen.
I saw an amazing sight today...blue skies. It didn't last long but it was beautiful. I think it's been 9 or 10 days since I've looked up and seen blue.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you JPB. You know what they say.....having a long streak of bad luck means that you're due for a long streak of good luck. It's the law of averages. I have a feeling that things are going to change for the better for you.
Here we are, Friday night and it still hasn't stopped raining. Flooding has been minimal because the rain is seldom hard. That means the creeks have plenty of time to dump it all into Lake Erie. It sure has been a long time since I've seen sunshine but considering what other folks have been through I shouldn't complain. There's still millions without power and our lights haven't even flickered throughout this whole ordeal.
We're not out of the woods yet. It rained all day and is supposed to rain all night and most of the day tomorrow. Flooding is starting to become a problem in the low lying areas. We're fine where we're at but folks near creeks could end up with problems. Still, it's nothing like New Jersey and surrounding areas. The pictures and videos coming out of there are horrific.
LOL That's hilarious! Hey Hoss, is that a picture of you? I thought you were younger. It must be you because you're the most interesting man on the HazzardNet. Umm, that's the little girl who ran away and was rescued by the Dukes and had such a big crush on Coy. When they first met her they thought she was a boy. I can't think of the episode.
We've had a lot of rain, downed branches and wind up here on Lake Erie in NW Pennsylvania but no major damage. We've certainly been lucky compared to other folks. I'm going to have a lot of branches to clean up on my trails but that's a minor problem compared to what other folks are going through. We still have a lot more rain coming but most of the flooding has been minor here and has been in the areas near creeks that are used to it.
