  1. Thanks so much for posting these Feud pictures Hoss. They're awesome! I'm going to agree with BL but I'm adding Boss so I'm saying A,B,C,D, and E.
  2. Well, Notre Dame just beat USC and they're going to the championship game. I hope Georgia goes too. It looks like it will be them or Alabama. I always love rooting for teams from Georgia because I love Hazzard County so much.

  4. Congratulations K-Duke. I've driven for 36 years without an accident or moving violation so I've earned the right to give young drivers like you advice. Here's my top 10 in no particular order. 1) Always consider the possibility that another driver is going to do something stupid. 2) Look twice in both directions before pulling out. Blind spots between windshields and side windows can be deadly if not considered. 3) Don't use your cell phone, smart phone, I-phone or any similiar device ever. (If you don't believe me just look at the driver the next time you see someone else coming toward you and crossing the center line in your path. 80% of the time you'll see them looking at an electronic device). 4) If you take a curve at 50 mph on Monday, 51 mph Tuesday and 52 mph Wednesday don't think you can go faster every day around that curve. Everything has its limits. Don't push them. 5) Don't tailgate. PLEASE DON't TAILGATE. It's stupid and dangerous. 6) If you think you can go as fast in the snow you'll soon find out that you can't. Hopefully you won't learn the hard way. Leave earlier to get to your destination. 7) Make sure your vehicle is safe, especially your tires and brakes. 8) Don't give into peers who want you to do something unsafe. You're better off being a live nerd than a dead cool kid. 9) Use your turn signals...not just for safety but for common courtesy as well. 10) Don't ever think you're the master of your vehicle. My grandfather once told me "As soon as you think you're in charge of a piece of machinery, be it a drill press, chain saw, lawn mower or vehicle, it'll show you real fast that you're not the boss. Overconfidence can kill." Now that I got that out of the way, have fun.....the right kind of fun. We're a big happy family here and we care about our young folks. You're the future of the HazzardNet!
  5. Television just lost a legend. Larry Hagman played many roles in his great career. He first rose to superstardom by playing Major Tony Nelson on "I Dream of Jeannie". However, the role he'll most be remembered for is J.R. Ewing of "Dallas", a role that had recently been revitalized on TNT and is currently in the process on filming it's second season after ratings went through the roof after the first season aired. I started watching Dallas in 1979 when I was 19 years old. The only reason I got into it was because it came on right after the Dukes and that was the first year Dukes came out. I had to go to my grandparents house just down the road every Friday night to watch Dukes because our antenna only got NBC. They both liked Dallas so I started to stick around after Dukes and eventually I was hooked on the show like them. A lot of people got hooked on Dallas back then and a big part of the reason was because of the role J.R. played. Many described him as someone that everybody loved to hate. Friday nights hanging out with my grandparents watching our two favorite shows ranks high as one of the best memories in my life. They've been gone for quite awhile now and now yet another one of the actors who helped bring us together has passed on. I'll never forget my grandmother's facial expressions when she was disgusted with J.R.s antics. The older you get the more people you see die. It's sad but that's one of the prices you pay for being blessed with long life. I'm only 52 so hopefully I'll live decades more but that means I'll lose a lot of people who were a part of my life and Larry Hagman certainly fits that description. I'll miss you J.R. You may have been a dispicable scoundrel on TV but you were greatly loved in real life.

  7. Ouch Garrett, how in the world did the 49ers beat your Bears by that much earlier this week? I thought it was supposed to be a close game. I guess I shouldn't talk. Your Bears are better than my Steelers.
  8. That's interesting. I never paid attention enough to notice that. You learn something every day.

  10. Welcome to the HazzardNet!

  12. It's Thanksgiving here in America and most Americans would agree that we sure have a lot to be thankful for. Of course not everybody on the HazzardNet celebrates because not everybody here is American. There's this feller named HossC who lives across the Big Pond from Hazzard County. For those of you who don't know your geography, that's so far that not even the General Lee could make that jump. Hoss might not be from America but his heart is in Hazzard County Georgia like the rest of us and we're certainly thankful for him and all his contributions here on the greatest website on the internet....and his contributions are MANY. So many in fact that he has achieved legendary status in his time here. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention. His birthday is Sunday Nov 25 so let me be the first to wish our Hazzard County cousin Hoss, the happiest birthday ever.
  13. I'm going to disagree with BL (translation: I'm going to be wrong again) .......and say C) Coy

  16. As I recall from clicking on your yahoo fantasy sports profile you're pretty good at NASCAR so maybe I should back off on my bragging a little.... NAHHH, I'm gonna crush you!

  18. Thanks for posting this Garrett. I see David Ragan finished 28. That kinda surprised me since he finished in the lower 30s in so many races. 96 more days until I start beating Garrett in fantasy NASCAR!
  19. Good luck with that BL. I've sure been wrong a lot lately. Still, trivia sure is fun!
  20. Spiderman
  21. Well, he did look pretty sharp when he was hanging out with Rocky Marlow so this isn't the first time he's been a cop. Thanks for sharing this Hoss.
  22. I don't know this but I'm going to guess F) Jud Kane. Hoss, you amaze me that you noticed the judge. I wouldn't have caught that.....but then again I've come to expect amazing things from you.
  23. Alaska
  24. You're right *hangs head in shame* Please accept my apology and let me rephrase that. Congratulations to David Ragan for not finishing last. Congratulations to Jeff Gordon for finishing first. Congratulation to Brad Whatshisname for doing good too.
  25. Nice job on the rent a truck Hoss. Vance's profile reminds me a little of Rambo in that screengrab.
