What a coincidence! Right after I posted this my grandson turned the TV station to one of the Disney channels and there is a kid named Rufus on there! It's a show called "So Random"

Very Nice!! That is so awesome! Just be careful with that thing. It might have the heart to jump those ravines out there but I don't think it has the horsepower.

Hey Garrett, I see you quoted from my post before I edited it. Later a light bulb went off over my head and I realized "Hey, I did know that." LOL

In my fantasy episode I would have a farm that borders the Dukes farm. I'd live there with my family and I'd be good friends with the Dukes. I'd always go to Jesse for advice just like Bo, Luke and Daisy do. In this episode the Charlie Daniels Band would get caught in Rosco's celebrity speedtrap and I would help Charlie and his boys find justice in Hazzard County by using all the tools available to me, like my friendships with the Dukes, Cooter and some of the other townsfolks. In the end, I'd be sitting on the Dukes porch with Charlie and Jesse looking over the corn and talk about God, America and family for hours. Later we'd head down to the Boar's Nest where Charlie and his band would perfom "What This World Needs is a Few More Rednecks."

I thought it would be fun to hear everyone's idea of a personalized fantasy Dukes episode. Here's the rules.... 1) Keep it brief. This isn't fanfic. 2) Try to put youself in the episode but that's NOT required. It is a fantasy after all, and all of us want to visit Hazzard so it would be fun to hear what you'd like to do there. 3) Remember this is a PG site....okay PG-13 maybe....but even then you're asking from trouble from the moderators....how 'bout PG-12. 4) You can do as many as you want. 5) Only make it a one part story....like I said, this isn't fanfic.

Thanks for posting this TRPColtrane. I see the ceremony will be in January. Cale has his own thread here and his induction was announced there on June 15. That was Waylon's birthday and Luke's birthday....Luke my grandson, not Luke Duke. So, I had three things to celebrate in one day! Congratulations Cale Yarborough...and others.

I wonder if CMT has to pay for each show they air or if they pay for the rights and then can air as many episodes as they want anytime they want. I have Dish network and they have something called RFD TV. They play episodes of Hee Haw....in fact they recently had a young Waylon on. It would be nice if a network played Dukes on a regular basis but not everybody gets RFD TV and they probably couldn't afford to buy the rights to Dukes. I know the idea of TVLAND getting Dukes has come up here before. That would be nice. I really like watching the Dukes when I know others are watching the same episode at the same time. For some reason I just feel more connected to Hazzard County when I know other fans are smiling at the same time I am.

Good job of remembering which episode that was Hoss. "The Dukes of Hatchapee".....yuck That episode was pretty emotional for me and still is. Just the thought of the Dukes not living in their farmhouse is downright scary.

You don't remember? I thought we agreed via PM that you'd post a picture of yourself with a Pittsburgh Pirate hat on if the Brewers don't make the World Series. Of course you're a moderator with computer skills so I'm guessing all evidence of that PM has been digitally destroyed.

Cool project! I didn't see it in this thread but you probably already know this. "The Ransom of Hazzard County" from season 6 has an apartment in it above the garage where the bomber is staying. Keep up the good work Mark.

I'm glad you didn't fall for "all of the above" waikiki. Actually they never did show Shorty so we'll never know if he was bald or anything else.... But we do know that he owned a couple oil wells before they got destroyed. Hey, I'm off to post a Duke or Dupe. I wonder how long it's been since we've had one.

The Tigers are down to their last three outs and are losing 15-5 so I don't think that fan is going to be in much trouble. Maybe the Rangers will have better luck in the World Series this year than they did in 2010.

Uh Oh, here we go again. I'm watching the Rangers playing the Tigers and a fan just interfered with a foul ball that Josh Hamilton might have been able to catch. After that, with two outs, a Tiger hit a two run homer that wouldn't have happened if Hamilton would have caught that foul ball. The Rangers are leading 9-4 and if they can hold it they move on to the World Series. If the Tigers come back and win a close one I wouldn't want to be that fan. I remember what happened to that fan in Chicago when something similiar happened. Hopefully the Rangers will win and it won't be a problem.

Rosco quickly put the sore fingers in his mouth. "Well ya got what ya deserved Rosco. You should know better than to move too fast around my money. I got ninja skills when it comes to protecting it and you're lucky you didn't get hurt worse than that. Now what's this good news all about? Did ya catch that Gordon Jeff feller?" "Uh I sure did Boss. And it's Jeff Gordon not Gordon Jeff...and I got Enos and three temporary deputies all armed to the teeth guarding him. I tell ya Boss we're gonna make a ton of money off this feller. Ya wanna hear my plan?" Boss responded, "Listen Rosco, you do the catching and I do the planning. Now I'll tell ya how we're gonna make money off Mr Gordon Jeff."
