Thanks for the update Garrett. Did you notice who is in first place in the latest segment of your fantasy NASCAR league? I'll give you a hint. He's a big fan of Jesse Duke. This place is starting to come alive again and we sure could use your NASCAR reports (and other stuff) to keep it interesting so keep typing...don't feel pressured to make your reports as long as they used to be...short reports are better than none.

I just went through Watkins Glen two weeks ago. I'd never been there before. Unfortunately we were on a bus trip so I couldn't didn't ask if we could stop and tour the racetrack. It wasn't visible from where we went through. You're right Hoss, that was a nail biter.

A lot of folks think this is just a preview of the one world government predicted in the Bible. Thinking like a race, nation, community, family or individual will not be permitted. We will all be forced to think and act like the global government wants us to and it will be easy to watch us since we put all our finances, hobbies, social and medical issues, family stuff, fears, hopes and thoughts on the internet.

There were many weekends where your reviews were the only results I got from the race Garrett. To be honest, part of that is because I don't follow NASCAR as closely as you but I do love the HazzardNet so they would always catch my eye. I don't plan on playing fantasy football. It's just too frustrating. I'm a Steelers fan and if I have one of their opponents on my fantasy team I catch myself partially rooting for the player on my fantasy team instead of the Steelers. Usually though I root for the Steelers but want the guy on my fantasy team to do well even though he's playing against the Steelers. It just gets frustrating. Its not as bad when I root for the Pirates because there are so many games and each one doesn't seem to be as significant.

I need to stop thinking about this or it will ruin my weekend. I'm not denying that are a few nutjobs that use the flag to show racism. There's always somebody out there who has to ruin something. What if the author likes Volvos and someone uses a Volvo as a gettaway car when robbing a bank? Should she be looked at suspiciously? What if a person who lives on her street cheats on their taxes? Should she be investigated? What if she is a fan of Star Trek and it is someday labeled racist because Klingons were unfairly portrayed so politically correct people had it banned? Does that mean she's a racist? She is basically calling all us fans racist. Being a racist is wrong but being accused of something you're not guilty of is wrong too. Sickening.

That was an absolutely uninformed and sickening article. Did you ever notice that the liberals who complain about conservatives being intolerant of others are the most intolerant of all? Their hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me. I suspect this author has never even met a Dukes fan. If she has she's never talked to the person in depth. Sickening. Thank goodness there are enough people in this world who recognize her stupidity.

Very sad. I met him once and he was real nice so I'm glad I didn't experience his ugly side. That wouldn't have been a good memory to have.
