The Official Dukes of Hazzard Trivia Thread
RogerDuke replied to Meadowmufn's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Trivia
LOL I sure messed up the EASY question. You both get credit for it since you both knew the answer to my confusing question. I'll wait until tomorrow to reveal the answers to the medium and tough ones in case anyone else wants to try them. -
There's always so much drama off the track!

Sorry to hear that Garrett. I didn't know that was a season ending injury. I always hate to see players get hurt no matter who they are or what team they're on. Hopefully his back up is a good player. That's pretty cool about Jason Kendall MM and thanks for rooting for the Pirates. After they win the World Series they won't be the underdog anymore so I suppose your support won't last.

I have a set of three questions waiting from "Targets Daisy and Lulu" but I'd rather have someone else answer the last set to see if they agree with Roth. Thanks for doing that Hoss. That's the first time I'd ever seen Route 24 mentioned. -
Congratulations on your win Garrett. I've been asking folks here in Pennsylvania which number is going to be bigger, the number of wins the Steelers get or the number of playoff wins the Pirates get. A few folks think both numbers are going to be zero but I have hope for my Pirates (even though your Cubs just scored in the 8th and tied it at 1-1 as I type this.) When are the Bears going to play the Seahawks? Garrett and MM are really going to be fighting then. LOL

Um, well I kinda think so. Well, I'm not really sure. I hope we are. I'm just a little nervous. I mean a lot of things could go wrong. A lot of things. (do you get the sense that my confidence level isn't too high?)

It's really great to have you back John. That's a sweet picture of a GL pick-up truck. They had a General Lee riding lawn mower on Duck Dynasty. Hey, the General is.....and always will be....... the most famous and recognizable car in the history of this old planet so it's no surprise folks like to imitate it!

From "The Haunting of JD Hogg". EASY What did Rosco do with the bicycle he commandeered from the little boy after he finished riding it? A) painted it shot it MEDIUM What was Boss's deceased uncle's name in this episode? A) Ezra Silas C) Jefferson TOUGH When the bad guys kidnapped Daisy toward the end, where did they say they were taking her? A) Mexico Capitol City C) their hideout in Tennessee D) Atlanta E) Canada F) Roth_Potter's moonshine still Hey Hoss, here's a test of your computer skills. Early in the episode Boss and Rosco snuck into the Duke's house and found a letter written by Boss's uncle. When Boss put it back into the envelope you could almost read the Duke's address on it. Can you zero in on it? -
I saw a little bit of the storm delay from the game vs SF. Are you sure the noise wasn't from thunder? Seriously though, they say defense wins championships. If that old slogan holds up the Seahawks are the top contender in the NFL. Garrett, I gotta admit, I'm a little nervous about your Bears coming to town. There's a chance the Steelers may have Leveon Bell in the game though. He's the rookie running back from Michigan State who has been hurt. Hopefully that could be a spark for them.

car (as in car parts) (I guess there's not much of a connection between outpost and Alaska but outpost is a tough one to respond to and since I associate the word with remote places I just thought of Alaska)

LOL I'll never forget that interview of his from a couple years ago. He was talking about playing online video games and telling his opponents that they were just beat by Sheriff Rosco from the Dukes of Hazzard. He said he got all kinds of responses like "Sure buddy, and I'm Santa Claus."

Very well written post Garrett. I couldn't agree more with one of your final quotes. Let's "move forward without any retaliation". Fans just want to see good old fashioned racing.
-
Let's make a bet Garrett. If the Steelers win you have to post "The Steelers are the Greatest Football Team in History" (written without a disclaimer) and I have to do the same if the Bears win. Chicago is 2-0 and Pittsburgh is 0-2 so you can't resist. Deal? *extends hand to shake*

What's your favorite Daisy outfit?
RogerDuke replied to Elly May Duke's topic in Cathy Bach / Daisy Duke
Aunt Lavinia's wedding dress, worn by Jesse's beloved wife. -
Thanks MM. It's come on fine twice in a row now. But with this thing I don't expect that to last. I don't know enough about computers to know who to blame. All these things like routers, modems and connections with funny names make my redneck head spin. I do know that I always blame the computer itself and from what I'm learning it's not very often the computers fault.

Here we go again. The computer's been down for three days. Now that my wife has it going again we have a lot to catch up on so hopefully it will be working later this evening so I can catch up on what's been going on here. Gotta go for now.

It's just after 10pm EST and it's getting ready to start up again. In the meantime Sunday night football in Seattle is in the middle of a storm delay. Congrats on JG making THE CHASE Garrett. I'm SOOOO happy for you. I think it was a great decision.

There's a lot of threads this quote could apply to. Thanks for all you do Hoss.
