I was also thinking about our fierce rivalry when I saw Pittsburgh was facing Chicago on opening day. Not only that but Pittsburgh and Chicago have the best records in the NHL as well. Go Pirates and Penguins!
Thanks for the update Garrett. This whole thing sure has been pretty dramatic. Drama is good for ratings (that's why they let hockey players fight) but I can do without it. Any NASCAR driver who goes after another one should be fined if it can be proven that he intended bodily harm. Any NASCAR driver who stands his ground to defend himself and crew should not be fined. It should be that simple. Say a prayer for Denny Hamlin's recovery.
*SNORES* You two are boring me with your arguing. Hang on a second, I'll be right back. *double checks episode list* Yep, Cale is on here twice and nobody else is. Arguement settled.
I like the last one (post#55) better than this one. Daisy's face needs a little more color but I shouldn't be critical since I can't even draw a tic tac toe game. LOL Thanks for all the art work!
Thanks for posting the qualifying results. Since you're going to miss the race Sunday Garrett I have a hypothetical question for you (because I think putting you in difficult situations is funny) If Jeff Gordon wins Fontana will you not watch the next race to see if you're his bad luck charm?
I'm not a Bears fan but every loyal sports fan has felt the sting of what you're going through. The more loyal a person is, the more it hurts when disappointment comes around. The only alternative is to not be loyal so you'll never be hurt. Sounds pretty boring to me.
Woops, sorry. We both know that Jeff is 100 times better than David Ragan but I'll be careful what I say next time. Thanks for posting the season points totals.
Are you going to replace the 429 with another one? What sized engines can you easily fit in there? I once had a 4 wheel drive 1963 F-250 with a 390 in it but as I recall it wasn't the original engine.....on second thought I think that it was an F-350.
Junior has been consistent all year so far. With JJohnson dropping to 22nd place in this race it will be interesting to see the season points total. Sorry to see Jeff Gordon had a bad day. It's not too often that my second favorite driver, David Ragan, finishes ahead of JG. Ragan finished 21st but usually averages in the low to mid 30s.
Thanks for this update. We had a guy from New Jersey build a General Lee and posted lots of pictures of it. It quickly became my favorite thread at the time. I love working on older vehicles. I was never as good as it as you are but I did a little "shade tree" work. It's not possible for a guy with my minimal skills to work on newer stuff anymore. I sure miss the satisfaction of replacing a carbeurator then tuning it up or putting in a new starter and hearing the vehicle come to life. Those were the days!
