Stumbled upon this site late one night and thought I would check it out....See how many other Dukes nuts there are out there....

Just joined the net here and wanted to say hello to everyone. I live outside of Denver and am the proud owner of a General Lee, a Rosco cruiser, and a Dukes room loaded with great Dukes stuff. Any one up for a Dukes chat?

I'm an Ohioan and proud of it. I love the Dukes of Hazzard and probly the only student in my school that knows about it or love it. I'm slowly admiting to liking it but I'm doing really good at it. I hope there is more people from Ohio on here. I'd love to chat.

I already posted twice, but nothing showed up. I'm a 46 year old male originally from West Virginia, but currently reside in Ukraine. Watched the DOH from the very beginning. Dreamed of owning a General Lee, but closest I ever came was an '81 Mirada which I rebuilt myself. It was painted Rustoleum Deep Purple Metallic. Almost Plum Crazy. Still want to know if anyone else saw the pilot episode with the '66-67 Charger General Lee?

Hi Everyone! I've been a "lurker" for years but just recently joined the site! I thought I would introduce myself! My pen name is Enos'sGal (or some call me EG). I'm an equestrian and love to read, have three sons and a wonderful hubby! The DOH was a favorite show of mine growing up! I wish they still made shows like that today! Hi, I am a new member here, and want to say HI to all my fellow Duke's of Hazzard enthusiasts. I have watch every episode when it aired live on TV. I was hooked on this show ever since then. And I am still hooked on it now. I am glad it is back on CMT starting today (Jan 5th) at 2 Pm. I will be watching it for sure! I have a 1969 Dodge Charger SE with a 383 CI Big Block (335 HP), and a 727 Automatic Transmission. It is a Numbers Matching Car and is a complete car. Ever since then, I have been watching as many episodes as I can squeeze in every night before bed. In just 6 days, I have watched all of season one, and over half of season 2! I've been reading here on and off for years, and decided it was time to join up. I'm 42 years old and have been a fan at least since the age of 2. Have two boys 9 and 10 who are the biggest fans I've seen since I was their age. I guess it runs in the family. From the age of 2, the oldest understood that watching a police car land in the lake was the funniest thing on TV. The youngest thinks Rosco is the real hero of the show, and makes his brother be both Duke boys so he can chase him. Life goes fast. I probably posted here once upon a time. I have FINALLY completed a years long process. The General Lee is built from an original MPC kit from 1969 I picked up from e-bay. The previous owner had painted it a gold/copper color back in the day with automotive paint(cannot be stripped/etches itself into the plastic). I came across the Lee 1 story and it was perfect. It took parts from numerous kits and hours of replaying scenes from One Armed Bandit. Stories on the background cars to follow.

I successfully taped every show while it was broadcast on the Nashville Network. It was all on vhs tape. I spend a lot of time buying old cars and lunch boxes to decorate my radio room.
