I know several other posts make passing reference to die cast cars, and I'm sure everyone has at least one model of the General at home, but I want to know what else you have in you model garage. It doesn't have to be something that was made or eaten on the show. Apple Betty 4 cups thinly sliced apples 1/4 cup orange juice 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup white sugar 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 pinch salt 1/2 cup butter Preheat oven to 375F degrees. Lightly grease a 9 inch pie plate. Mound sliced apples in the pie plate, then sprinkle with orange juice. In a medium bowl - mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Scatter over the apples. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Serve warm.

Hey I really enjoyed the art work the other person here posted. Infact I enjoyed it so much I thought I'd share some of my own. Hope you all enjoy mine as much as I enjoyed the other. I have many hobbies but since one will let me share a fun story I'll go with it. I love 70's early 80's toys particularly Star Wars and 8 inch figures (OK dolls) made by a company called Mego. There were licensing gods back in the day. Megos were cool but were notorious for having the pin that connected the knee snap off sometimes while figures were still in the package. Recently when looking for a Bo Duke to add to my collection I used this to my advantage. I picked up this sadly neglected fellow on Ebay. Baseball is in pre-season. March Madness is getting ready to start. The NBA and NHL playoffs will be here before you know it. And of course, NASCAR is starting another season with everybody chasing J.J. Post your feelings here for sports and please be respectful of other people's teams. Been addicted to Shortwave Radio for so many years I've done lost count. Really want to get my Amateur Radio License (HAM License) someday. Was curious if there are any other SWL's or HAM's or potential HAM's around here? Anyone not familiar with either one... could simply ask the magic google box.

Now I've always been partail to this one branch of the services for awhile now. I've done my research and Im thinking about joining the marines after I get out of highschool. Ok, I seen that there are horse people on here but has anyone ever gotten into showing club calves or feeder calves, or show steers. Anyone who is into this will know what I'm talking about. The reason I call it a hobby and not a business venture is because anyone who's in it knows you don't make a dime off of doing it but it's fun. What breed of cattle do you show if you're a purebred breeder, or do you like crossbreds? What kind of trips have you been on? Did you get to go to the National Angus or Shorthorn conventions? Did you win any state fairs or jackpot shows? And for anyone who's wondering, yes I am still alive.

Well, I've watched and I've read 'bout all your beautiful hobbies. Now it's my turn. I like drawing, and I've always drawn since I was I child. Unfortunately, I draw only manga (I'm not able at all to draw real people or nature; and if I try it, it seems a manga ). Hi. One of my hobbies is collecting and racing slot cars. My collect would not be complete of course with out a General Lee slot car. Back in the early 80's Ideal toys made a Duke of Hazzard set with a General Lee and Roscoe's police car. Even though this was not a great quality set if filled the need. Now Auto World has made a new General Lee and much better quality. They have also created a better Roscoe's police car. This summer they plan to launch more Dukes of Hazzard cars.
