Hey y'all, Been away from you too long, working on what I thought was an impossible project that I almost gave up on. I'm now ready to begin posting an amazing (and frustrating) journey to build the most accurate Cooter's Tow Truck ever done. Maybe. First off, there were several tow trucks used over the series. anybody else here have horses as a hobby? well actually i wouldn't consider horses as a hobby either. i'd consider them what my life revolves around.

Baseball is in pre-season. March Madness is getting ready to start. The NBA and NHL playoffs will be here before you know it. And of course, NASCAR is starting another season with everybody chasing J.J. Post your feelings here for sports and please be respectful of other people's teams. (Of course I had to add that because I like the worst team in baseball, the Pittsburgh Pirates)...okay, you folks can make fun of the Pirates a little bit if you want to. It aint a typo... I bull ride... and I love it. Yeah, I know Im crazy, but face it were all alil insane. After all ya could get hit by a car crossing the road to get ya mail or slip and fall in the shower and hit ya head. Im gonna be 23 in August and I been riding since 2005, yeah I been hurt, but not enough to un-addict myself from that rush. Its like gettin a high with out drugs or anything else, its unexplainable what that feeling really is. All I can say is its awesome. I have been collecting 80's toys since the late 90's. Got a fairly big dukes collection as well as transformers from the 80's and literally up til now. I have some of the OG masters of the universe stuff and some of the repop stuff from the last couple of years. Got some knight rider stuff and fall guy stuff. A decent amount of the old stomper trucks and several of the stomper track sets. Still have my bmx bike from the 80's and recently picked up a very decent DK General Lee bicycle. Just enjoy remembering the best childhood anyone could have ever asked for.

I try to get out on 'green-lanes' as they're called over here in the UK in my Land Rover. They have full vehicular rights, but aren't concreted/tarmacced. Sadly the access we have is being curtailed by law, due to a vociferous campaign by the Rambler Association (hikers) & with a Government Ministers in their associatio,as you can guess it's a bit one sided. At the same time, the the paths they use are constantly being eroded due to over-use, OR,, being resurfaced with materials alien to the surroundings. 'Rant Mode' off On a similar vein, guess what the 4x4 hating Minister Of Transport drives??? Give in? A Range Rover Hypocrite, or what???

Hey I really enjoyed the art work the other person here posted. Infact I enjoyed it so much I thought I'd share some of my own. Hope you all enjoy mine as much as I enjoyed the other. Hi. One of my hobbies is collecting and racing slot cars. My collect would not be complete of course with out a General Lee slot car. Back in the early 80's Ideal toys made a Duke of Hazzard set with a General Lee and Roscoe's police car. Even though this was not a great quality set if filled the need. Now Auto World has made a new General Lee and much better quality. They have also created a better Roscoe's police car. This summer they plan to launch more Dukes of Hazzard cars. What do I do? I paint. I paint pictures of photos I"ve taken or whatever comes to mind. And, just to keep things intersting, I teach drawing and painting at a local high school. I've got more, I'll post 'em later.

Well was on Youtube.com for one of my favorite authors and his main character and came up with the idea of a favorite books or author thread here for anyone else who likes to read. My favorite authors are: Lee Child Michael Connelly John Lescroart Steve Martini I am hooked on these four author's books...once a new book comes out, I have to get it in my collection and to read it. Each book hard to put down and once it is over, leaves me looking forward to the next book of that author to come out. Who's your favorite author? Or what book is your favorite book?

One of my hobbies is making pics in photoshop. I like doing fanart and origianl space pics. These are a couple I've made.

It doesn't have to be something that was made or eaten on the show. Apple Betty 4 cups thinly sliced apples 1/4 cup orange juice 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup white sugar 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 pinch salt 1/2 cup butter Preheat oven to 375F degrees. Lightly grease a 9 inch pie plate. Mound sliced apples in the pie plate, then sprinkle with orange juice. In a medium bowl - mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Scatter over the apples. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Serve warm.

Well, I've watched and I've read 'bout all your beautiful hobbies. Now it's my turn. I like drawing, and I've always drawn since I was I child. Unfortunately, I draw only manga (I'm not able at all to draw real people or nature; and if I try it, it seems a manga ). And I've not so much fantasy to create my own characters (so I need a model to copy). Mhhhh.... it's not a good advertising for my works....... .... I know. Anyway, I hope you like it.

Well we are two thirds through the regular baseball season and a lot of you know how big of a NASCAR fan I am, well I am just a big of a fan of baseball as I am with NASCAR. Anyone else a big baseball fan? If so, which teams and players do you like or follow? How's your season going? Well, for the past ten years I've been collecting die-cast and now I have two Corvettes 1/24 scale from the Corvette museum it's just american to go to that museum and not buy something Corvette related. At least three Dodge Chargers and they are a 1/18 scale General Lee just got a couple of weeks ago. A 2006 1/24 scale Dodge Charger in a display case, and a 1/32 scale 1969 Budweiser Dodge Charger that my brother got me for Christmas one year. Two 1957 Bel-Air same exact model just different colors. I couldn't believe I did this until pulled the first one out. Ok, I seen that there are horse people on here but has anyone ever gotten into showing club calves or feeder calves, or show steers. Anyone who is into this will know what I'm talking about. The reason I call it a hobby and not a business venture is because anyone who's in it knows you don't make a dime off of doing it but it's fun. What breed of cattle do you show if you're a purebred breeder, or do you like crossbreds? What kind of trips have you been on? Did you get to go to the National Angus or Shorthorn conventions? Did you win any state fairs or jackpot shows? And for anyone who's wondering, yes I am still alive.
