I try to get out on 'green-lanes' as they're called over here in the UK in my Land Rover.

They have full vehicular rights, but aren't concreted/tarmacced.

Sadly the access we have is being curtailed by law, due to a vociferous campaign by the Rambler Association (hikers) & with a Government Ministers in their associatio,as you can guess it's a bit one sided.

At the same time, the the paths they use are constantly being eroded due to over-use, OR,, being resurfaced with materials alien to the surroundings.

On a similar vein, guess what the 4x4 hating Minister Of Transport drives???
