I just wanted to let everyone know that Amy Grant's 'Three Wishes' television show that was shot a little over 3 weeks ago in Covington will be airing this Friday night, October 21st, on NBC. Aside from Covington being the original "Hazzard County", I'm very interested to see just how the General Lee and 'The Dukes of Hazzard' will be connected with the show. GA-Duke01

ok Im gonna say this, If it werent for the movie I won't have been a Dukes fan... when I first saw the movie I actually liked it I did. I also Loves Dukes of Hazzard Beginnings its really cool. the boys were kinda cute. Daisy needed a fuller figure but im not hating on it. I know they didnt stick to the story line ad I know some of y'all basically wanna kill Jessica for taking the role but if you were an actor won't you have taken the job? Just think of it as a family whose last name was Dukes instead of the Dukes of hazzard everyone knows.

Here we go again! This is hot off the press from the Hollywood Reporter. As of this time we have zero confirmation about this WB/Jody Hill project actually being a Dukes of Hazzard movie. But we can't ignore the possibility. Back when the rumors started for the 2005 Dukes movie, (maybe it was 2003 at the time) and Britany Spears was being considered for Daisy, we were the first Dukes website with the dirt. I have been reading all the post of us whining and bitc#!*g, that the characters wont be in the movie, no flag, jessica is rude, ok so what. First off I love the originals, but how can you feasably put john, tom, cathy, ben, sonny, james, flash (god rest his furry soul), in the movie. It would be a distraction, yes we want to see them, but people it is not their show, it is the property of the warner bros., all they were is actors. Also when they were in the show, they usually complained about the script, (they had many points), the effects, the editing, and the money from the toys, that is why we got coy and vance in the first place. One of the highlights of the Dukes movie was that awesome chase in downtown Atlanta after Daisy, Annette and Katie sprung Bo & Luke. In the background(after Luke ticked off Bo for stealing Katie), we heard AC/DC's If You Want Blood in the background. What songs/musical pieces do you think would fit this chase? Where did they get the cars for the movie? Did they buy some from people who had them fixed up or did they find a few junkers and have a local body shop do the work?

James Bond is about to be played by a 6th actor. Lots of actors have played Robin Hood and Superman and Batman and they have all done well at the box office or on tv.. It is never the same when they mess around with tv shows and books or remake films. Lets all face it they have made a new Dukes of Hazzard for the cinema. While going to my local target at 9:00 AM, I passed the cheap movie section and saw dukes of hazzard there for 13.97$ all I have to say is..... YAY!

Well after all i have read about Jessica Simpson snubbing her nose at people during filming and all, it is in my best saying....GO TO HELL!!!! She does not realize what type of role she has gotten as I am sure she was only 2 when the Dukes of Hazzard premeired.... I have seen numerous pictures of the filming and I still believe Scott and Knoxville are not Bo and Luke but they are not as bad as I was once percieving. Well anyhow I have a list of people here that should have been casted for Daisy. Please give me some feedback on who should have played Daisy besides Bimbo Simpson. Thanks, The Hazzard Fanatic

Last night I saw club dread , suposidly a comidy but really a horrior flick by Broken Lizzard blood drougs sex nudity and cuite chicks all walle trapped on a island I thought the most casting was pretty good MC Gainey did a good job playng hank ( a very serious charactor) The new rosco might be more like Big ed little or Sherriff Emmit Lumis Spike of hatchipiee county than ol bumbiling in cohouts James Best But then again a low budget actor that no ones ever heard of..... mabe thats why he wasn't in the traller.......or on the website

Well when we were done with the scene last Saturday they bidded ALL EXTRAS fairwell and gave us a big thankyou. Said the actors would finish up this week and then everyone would be gone. Well this morning I got a call from one of the P A's and he asked me to come back to Clinton for Saturday . Told me to wear the exact same thing from last week. Soooo the filming still goes on. The movie is gonna be action, adventure and comedy (more).with the same theme song. Hopefully more news later

I know this is nit-picky, but couldn't the editors have done something about the way Bo climbs out of the General? It looks very bad. It shows that Sean William Scott never got it down pat. Almost every time he's got one foot on the ground and the other still stuck inside. And I read an interview about him and Johny Knoxville....Sean says it was hard getting out of those windows. But if anyone on the movie set had bothered to refer to the old tv series (so that they might actually have a CLUE as to how the Dukes of Hazzard should be), they would notice that John Schnieder: 1. I'm sick of people who now think this lame excuse for a movie is the Dukes of Hazzard and I'm sick of what this stupid movie has done to the image of the Dukes of Hazzard. It's... awful... the General... might... become... this! THIS IS AWFUL! The new Charger. And they have the gald to call it the Road and Track edition, same title as the General. What if they use this in the movie! I don't think Jessica Simpson will fit through it (cool! Maybe that can get her thrown off the movie! > Your opinion on this?

Let me stir things up a little bit. Please feel free to disagree. The first reunion movie had a great plot but I refuse to buy the DVD. Here's why.. Daisy, Bo and Luke would have never left Uncle Jesse at the farm alone like they did. I could have probably handled it a little better if all 3 of them would have announced at the end of the movie that they were back in Hazzard to stay but they didn't (correct me if I'm wrong with that statement, I've only seen it once). What makes this especially troubling is how frail Jesse looked when he was left to the farm alone. I'm sure he gave them his blessing to go but that's not the point. The point is that they wouldn't have left…

Awright, since the sequel prospects are in limbo - I think it's time we let everybody weigh in. I can't promise that this will shift the odds one way or the other. But looking back on our earliest movie posts, there were rumors about the General Lee having no flag, and there were debates about what music should be on the sountrack, ect. I can't claim that anybody was listening to us. Lookin' back, though, and taking into consideration some of the media contacts we received...it's at least possible that somebody was. So let's make some noise, eh? Maybe we'll send the string to our WB buddies and see what happens. If all else, it may amuse 'em! Brian
