Hey Ya,ll Just some quick thoughts here. We all know that John Schneider was and still is great at putting the General Lee through his paces. He is actually a professional driver and I was told that he attended the Skip Barber Racing School. Is Sean W. Scott up to the challenge of making the General Lee dance the way he should? Yesterday my husband was driving towards Clinton, La & saw vehicles approaching (on a 1 lane on each side highway) & was like What the Hell? He saw Johnny Knoxville driving the General Lee, then Jessica Simpson in a white van behind them - while people were filming. I was just going through some old Hot Rod magizines and remeberd the one with the starsky and hutch terreto on the cover from the movie I wondered If Hot Rod would do a cover page article based on the General Lee and other cars / stunts in the movie. I guess for every cultural icon, there will always be people who don't think anything should change about it. Hollywood is not just about entertaining the masses, it's about making money. Do any of you really think a new movie with a bunch of aging Dukes would make it to the big screen? Hardly. Seann and Johnny did an outstanding job as Bo and Luke Duke. I've gotta say that after reading the article about the new movie on MTV's website and seeing the pics from the set, I'm pretty excited about it. I'm glad that they're not trying to make a carbon copy of the T.V. show but they're still trying to capture the spirt of it. I agree with Knoxville when he said that John and Tom would always be the real Bo and Luke. I would've liked to see some pics of Boss and Uncle Jesse but I guess they're keeping them under wraps. The new roscoe does look different and they said he's not gonna have his trademark laugh, which is alright cause nobody can really do it well except Mr. Best (Although Bo Jackson does a pretty good imitation..…

When this movie started to film back in November 04. Alot of people on this web site said this film would be crap and that it would be a big flop at the cinema this summer. Now that they have seen the trailer they have said this film will be great. Who can you tell if you have not seen this film.

Just read on the Dukes-fest forum on this site that they have decided to shoot some new stuff for the begining of the film and have called back the cast and extras . Have a look at the post about it on the Duke-fest forum from one of the extras. Any news on this would be great?

To everyone here at H-Net...... I want to take the time to apologize for my recent sort of argumentative style. As most know that is not what I like to do. I got bugged a bit about what I felt was getting too compounded and I sort of lashed out. For that and to anyone I have offended I did not want that at all, you have my apologies...
