I just noticed on the General Lee's odometer in Carnival of Thrills (part 2) it said 32047 miles. Coincidently the General's license plate starts with 320 and they were practicing for a 32 car jump. Anyhow, has anybody else ever noticed any other odometer readings in any other episodes? 32,000 isn't many miles for a car that was 11 years old at that time...unless the odometer had turned over. Since we don't know alot about the General before the episode "Happy Birthday General Lee" I wonder if anybody would care to speculate if it's 32,000 or 132,000. I'm gone.

I can tell anyone interested were one of the (maybe) real General Lee's are. it's at a gas station right outside of Surgoinsville, TN. To get there you get on 25-E I believe and it's on the right if your heading North i think and on the left of course going south. It looks like it has been jumped and is faded and all but you can still tell what it is. And another thing it's rumored to be a real one nobody really knows.

Just asking if y'all have seen any cars resembling the General or Dixie or whatever. I had a couple such incidinces Once me and my mom were driving home and i looked in somebody's driveway and i saw a red-orange . . .I think it was a Dodge Charger and on another occasion I saw a black and white one in my grandma's trailer park. I usually hate Orange cars, but i told my mom the other day. The General is like the only orange Car I like. (Mostly) So any y'all had some odd sightings?

Let's talk about things that could be added to the General's paint job, just 'cause. how's this? Flames riding from the front bumper to the door side of the front wheel? Back two years later, in case someone reads ancient threads, hope the system doesn't bump this deal up. I didn't mean desecration at all, just, y'know, for humor purposes, but y'all are right, you don't change a uniform and that's just what the General's paint is: his uniform, and you just can't deface that.

Has anyone heard about this? NHRA Drag Racer Bo Butner painted his car like the General Lee. It's a Camaro body, however Bo Butner is a huge Dukes Of Hazzard Fan. In fact his name is James Butner but he changed it to Bo when he saw the Dukes Of Hazzard. Here's a link to an article about his 'General Lee'. http://www.foxsports.com/motor/story/nhra-the-general-lee-dukes-of-hazard-las-vegas-102816

Hello guys I’m new and introduced myself a couple of years ago and just got my password reset. Anywho, I’m in search of a narrow push bar template so I can make one for my Georgia based Lee I’m building. I seen something about Jon Holland had templates but I can’t seem to find it anywhere on here. I would really appreciate any help in this matter. I have recently recreated the Carroll Shelby Wheels center cap decals for my car and have purchased the tear drop antenna. I’m trying to get the real difficult pieces bought before I finish it. You have to have the cherry on top to call it done. I’d rather not wait once it’s done. Hahaha

Are there any DVD's out there, or websites, that have behind-the-scenes stunts of the Dukes (especially w/ the General)? I've seen the 2005 movie extras, and a few various websites, but nothing that really discusses the stunts n' jumps in detail and behind the scenes. Does anyone have any really good, in depth, websites, videos, ect? Thank you for any replies! Aaron dunnsville_va@yahoo.com

I'm at it again guys! I know I haven't been online much recently, I'm sorry I just haven't had the time. I have however, managed to get 3 free bikes. One was abandoned at my school and given to me by the principal, one was given to me by my neighbour and the third was found next to a dumpster near my house. I'm sure some of you are wondering what happened to my Xtreme Lee project. I got it finished A couple of weeks ago, and forgot to hook up the brake cables on the first test ride. Let's just say bent forks and a bend in the frame are too damaged for even me to repair. I stripped the bike, and in a move mirroring the car builders of the series, cut off all the decals a…

http://www.autoblog.com/2008/03/07/general-lee-no-1-to-appear-in-aprils-dupont-registry/ Why do I call it replica you may ask? Because to me that's basically all it is. You can read my posts and a guy named Dons post on there. It explains why we feel this way. It's a replica with just a very small percentage of it being the actual remnants of the actual car.

Hi, I've probably not been on here for over 2 years. As far as I know there's only 1 genuine studio car on our 'side of the Pond' It's owned by a chap called Peter Nelson who has a museum in Keswick (pronounced 'Kesik'), which is in Cumbria (referred to by us Brits as 'The Lake District') I've seen that car, & it's reputed to be one of the 'chase scene' cars, with the 440ci motor http://www.carsofthestars.com/ If you look at the 'Vehicle Index', he's got some wonderful motors; - the original 'Mad Max' Police Interceptor - Batmobiles (Adam West, Micheal Keaton, & Val Kilmer) - Flintstones - LOTS of 007/james Bond vehicles (including the DB5) - Herman Munsters …
