January 18, 200620 yr Not quite correct. 1975 Corvette "Flame Red" or "orange flame" as it is referred to in some paintchip books is the most accepted "Correct" color used on the General Lee. I've explained this in another topic but will again. Don Schisler who was in charge of the Georgia Lee's told me the color as confirmed by Tom Sarmento builder of Generals during the show. So the Georgia Lees were Corvette flame red.This color was definitely used the last 3 seasons as well. Now there was a period of time when WB had a company called Valuzets(spelling?) building the cars who used there own blend of paint some say it was Hemi others say it was Hugger or a combination of the 2 or whatever they had on hand. Then WB went back to building them themselves and used the Corvette color again till the show was cancelled.
