I've always been intrigued by the one-off appearance by "(an)other Duke cousin", motorcycle riding Jeb Stuart Duke, played by Christopher Hensel, in season three's "Along Came a Duke". Odd that he would be introduced in such a way, never featured again, and in all my years collecting and writing about Dukes, I have never really found out the story behind the character. In my youth, part of me wondered if he had been introduced as a possible replacement for Bo should John Schneider ever leave - I vaguely recall an article with Schneider suggested that producers gave him a hard time after misleading them about his age when he auditioned and used to wonder if it related to …

Hey y'all!! As some of y'all may know I recently started a thread on Valencia Oaks Movie Ranch. Unfortunately it's slowed down considerably because I can't find any decent quality pictures. So if someone is able to do screencaps of the ranch I'd really appreciate it!! Dukes of Hazzard Fun Fact: Did you know In the flashback episode Season 7 Episode 1 Happy Birthday, General Lee the 1st jump was an accident. Then they discovered they liked it and in later stories started doing it on purpose. The 1st jump was when running away from the gold dust robbers the Charger had originally belonged to when it was black before the Dukes bought it and painted it orange put the flag name and number on it and built the race car with it. They had the Gold dust stashed behind the dashboard and wanted it back.

hey guys, just wondering if yall ever noticed that john Schneider ran funny like something was wrong with his leg. he was very slow compared to tom and the episode about his new boots focused on it and once bo was sitting on a keg and said his leg fell asleep when he limped. it didn't fit with any story of the episode. there is a few more things I cant think of now.

Does anyone here happen to know of a site where I can grab a few wavs from the show, particularly Roscoe's laugh and other various phrases? I've been less than successful so far in my searches.

Wow.. the packaging and 9 dvds in this.. i paid $32 at walmart for it. All the cds have an individual character on it... luke, bo, daisy, uncle jesse, cletus, cooter,boss hogg, roscoe, and the general lee. I am really impressed with this.. its the best looking one.. i'm gonna go watch the extras now...Later y'all.

Looking at the Opening Titles for the First and Second Seasons, am I right in thinking that there are some unused film shots used? I'm thinking particularly of the following shots.... 1. Close-up of Ben Jones smiling and pushing his cap up. 2. Close-up of Denver Pyle pointing his finger. 3. Close-up of John Schneider before the General Lee jumps over the mound of dirt. Can anyone help me here?

There is a funny scene I have stuck in my head, but I can't remember what episode it's from. Bo and Luke are are hiding in the back of Cooter's truck when Rosco pulled them over.....Rosco wants to search the truck and Cooter says "you can search, but whatever you do stay out the front of the truck...."....then Luke hooks Rosco's car up to the tow truck, so when they drive away they take Rosco's car with them. Very funny scene....

Ok can anyone name all of the country singers that played at the end of The Dukes? Also can anyone name the songs that they sang? I know that there was Lorretta Lynn, Waylon Jennings, and the Oakridge Boys. Weren't they on twice? If I am correct I think that it was a big thing for them to play on the show. Thanks

Anybody typed in 'Dukes of Hazzard Bloopers' on YouTube? very interesting bloopers on there from the show..... I would post the link, however, I recall posting links without permission is not allowed. Quite interesting and colorful language on some of those 'bloopers'. I was hoping more of this stuff would surface with the years.... as well as a bunch of other un-edited footage of jumps, showing the General Lee jumps/landings in full.

I have noticed in Season 1 One Armed Bandits, this bikini fit her perfectly. But in Season 4 Nothin' But the Truth, the bottom part of her right breast hung out from under the bottom of the bikini top. I'm probably NOT the ONLY male to catch this. Now, did she fill out more by Nothin' But the Truth, or was her right breast just slightly larger than the left one? What do y'all think?

Hello. I've been after a DVD set of the show, but I'd like to know if any of y'all have made picture quality comparisons between all the ones available? Far as I know, there's the "Original Set" with the Confederate Flag, and then two repackaged releases (Standard DVD cases and a newer with two fat cases containing all discs), released in the U.S. Now, in the U.K., there were the individual DVD seasons and a complete boxset (repackage of the individual seasons). There might be more in the world, although the best ones are likely the U.S. due to being in NTSC format and running at the correct framerate. P.S. Yes, Amazon does have the series beautifully …

I've always liked the episodes with Boss's maybe-even-crookeder nephew Hughie Hogg. He was always an enjoyable character, and was good to have a younger character of Bo / Luke / Daisy's own sort of age, but with Boss's cunning, for them to tackle once in a while. What is everyone's favourite (and least favourite) Hughie episodes? The episodes he appeared in are: * "Uncle Boss" (produced early in season two, but postponed until season three) introducing the character * "Arrest Jesse Duke" (s2) - an odd Hughie appearance in that Jeff Altman was brought in last minute to fill for Rosco when James Best boycotted the show, and as such mostly just reads Rosco's lines instead …

Hogg i thought that was not the first time she fell in love, because i can recall she having a crush on Gaylord Duke in Duke of Duke...which made me wonder how many other times she falls in love during the series.
