  1. I emailed the guy to find out about what I could afford to get. However I have not had any response back yet. Hopefully he does. Sad to see that place go.
  2. When I was little.. and watched the dukes religiously as a child.... I remember my parents were in the front seat of our car and i was in the back seat. We pulled up to a stop sign and i looked to the right and there at the stop sign was a General Lee. My eyes grew huge and I was sooo happy. The General pulled up and took a left and as they did .... they played the dixie horn and i was just going nuts. My father goes and he turns left.... and I said "DAD THE DUKE BOYS..... FOLLOW THEMMMMMMM" and my parents laughed. I started crying because my parents wouldn't follow the General lol. So pathetic.. but I was young then lol.
  3. so much anger..... over a movie. I have yet to see the movie because of work and every day life... however... i'm not a big fan of the weed talk and the swearing... the dukes was based on a family oriented theme... the first few episodes were not.... they pushed the envelope back then..but once kids came into wanting to watch it... they toned it down and brought the show to an 8pm eastern time slot so kids could watch it. To me it just didn't seem right that they put these things into the new movie ..... but its HOLLYWOOD.. and that's what they wanted. They took the names, the car, and the title of the show.... and glammed it all up Hollywood style.... now before you think i'm just bashing this movie.... I'm not.... I still wanna see it... and i'm sure i will enjoy it.... but i'm gonna watch it with an open mind and keep it seperate from the TV show. All I know is...... if they did a remake of the Munsters... put it on tv...... and made the characters do violent acts like killing.... fans of the show would not be happy either. But..... it's HOLLYWOOD folks.
  4. The special features on season 4 are great... from them talking about the show to john, cathy and tom doing commentary through the whole episode of Double Dukes.. god I laughed at some of the parts they were commenting on.

  8. The reason the first episode is so much different then the later ones... is because they realized more kids were watching the show then adults, and back then.. the stuff they did on the first episode were.. pushing the envelope so to say. Plus the show started at 9pm.. and once they realized kids were getting into it.... they changed it to 8pm.. and made it more family oriented.
