  1. I think everyone is a bit confused.Kid Rock does own Bo's General Lee #1 of 4.There are 4 that he built. Bo's General #2 is owned by a guy here in Ohio. Bo's General #3 is owned by a guy in Iowa.Bo's General #4 the Hemi car is still in Johns possession until the Barret-Jackson auction in January. He is auctioning it off to help fund Collier & Company 2.
  2. Only 22 cars officially remain of the approx 300 give or take(Cooter says 309) that were used on the TV series.I don't count the ones used for the 05 Movie or the Beginning they aren't true Generals in my opinion. WB cut the roofs off any to be sent to the crusher at least from about season 3 on. There are rumors of some being stolen from WB back in the day off the set or on their way to the crusher or from the junkyard.Rumors that's all. They re-used as many parts as possible. Anyone out there claiming they have a genuine General actually used on the TV series saying it slipped out under WB noses is either lying or they are in possession of stolen property.WB controlled these pretty closely. So if anyone out there says my nephews second cousin has a genuine General Lee from the TV series he found in Georgia or California supply me the VIN number and I know someone that could confirm if it is legit. http://www.dohgltruth.com/
  3. Will do the best I can with my schedule the way it is.
  4. Name a specific scene in those episodes and I'll work on posting them here.My DVD player I use on my puter has frame by frame slow motion and screen capture feature.

    Concerts?

You wanted the best,You got the best,The Hottest Band in the World! KISS!!! I've seen them 14 times since 1992. I had front row in Cleveland 1998 Psycho Circus tour as I won a Gene Simmons lookalike contest. Wouldn't go see them now cause they basically got a Coy and Vance playing drums and lead guitar. You haven't seen a stage show until you've seen the original 4 Paul,Gene,Ace,and Peter in full makeup. AC/DC good show and one of the loudest.Def Leppard very good.Too many more to mention.
  7. 69 Chargers had left hand threads on the drivers side. At least on mine they did. I replaced all my studs with right hand thread.
  8. I think the contract with the current venue is up after 2008 so 2009 would be 30 years could be possible.Still that's news to me. If they move it to Georgia they should move it to Covington where it was filmed. The only trouble with Covington is there isn't a big venue to support 30,000 people.
  9. Where did you hear that Julie? That's news to me.Oh please no say it aint so. As far as I know there was alledgedly supposed to be a miniseries as a follow up to The Beginning. That rumor has died apparently. I have heard nothing from any of my sources about any new Dukes projects..
  10. Mine was made by the Jubilee horn company.Think they were based in Nebraska but has since gone out of business which is sad cause they are good horns. As far as Wolo or Fiamm I assume the online preview is close to actual sound. I also heard of a Italian company making Dixie horns now too.I have no clue how good those are.
  11. You're basically stuck between two different brands.WOLO or FIAMM personal preference on which sounds better. The company that made mine has long since gone out of business and mine sounds very close to the show.
  12. Because most if not all the dies for stamping out the body parts are long gone. To tool more dies would be very costly. Yes there are small vendors restamping some parts now but I've heard horror stories about they are a pain to get them to line up correctly.Could Dodge do it? Sure but how much would one cost now? 30-50k possibly more. There's enough on ebay for that much now.Would remakes sell? Hell yes even for the high dollar and it would de-value the original ones a bit and make parts more readily available. Dodge would have to give the cars to WB as a promotional thing. I don't see WB spending full price for a TV show that may or may not make it as a hit. With Chryslers future unsure at this point who knows. After the ugly piece of crap that they slapped a Charger emblem on they need to come up with something that will sell. By the way the new car now known as the Charger wasn't originally called Charger it was supposed to be called Enforcer. They changed it at the last minute to sucker you into buying.
  13. Find a way to not destroy any more 69 Chargers and I'd go for a Next Generation series if it followed the guidelines I laid out earlier. I don't care what anyone says CGI jumps still look fake to me as evident by The Beginning jump clearly fake and CGI is still costly.Remaster the old jump footage using different angles? That would get old quickly. Surely somebody can figure out to make a re-usable jumper that looks accurate and be cost effective but destroying real cars? All of us that have replicas don't want that.Miniatures thats even more fake. Changing the General to a newer or different car equals losing the majority of the fanbase if not all. I wouldn't watch it if the new generation wasn't driving a 69 Charger.
  14. Yep they removed the crossed rebel and checkered flags on the panel between the trunk and glass. And it was pickled peaches that Bo was trying to open. Also Lee 1 was the only General Lee to have the chrome rocker trim visible and not painted over.
  15. Roger, I'm glad you took my post in the context it was meant to be taken. I totally agree. If another reunion is to happen it would have to be a passing of the torch type thing . Did anyone see the "Happy Days" reunion they did a couple years ago? They just sat around in a Arnolds recreation set and they showed them various clips chosen by the fans then they reminisced about those particular clips sharing memories and funny behind the scenes stories. I think that's the type of reunion you'll get if there is to be another. I know the Brady Bunch and Andy Griffith have done similar reunion shows using that format as well.
  16. Don't get me wrong.I would love to see a final reunion movie. With no disrespect for the actors. They are just getting too old to pull it off effectively anymore.I know I'll get blasted for that and what I'm going to say. I know John still looks young but let's face reality.A almost 50 guy and mid 50's guy trying to do hood slides and going in through the windows with a 80 year old sheriff and 71 year old deputy chasing them?Plus a 53 year old Daisy that would never get in those shorts again without a Jenny Craig program. On top of that you have 2 main characters dead. I'm sure a plot and script could be written to work around those losses but it just wouldn't be the same. I'm sorry if I sound harsh. Like I say I love all those people but being realistic. If neither of the 2 new movies was made I'd say yeah even with the age issues. Now? Like I said before I don't see WB going backwards as much as I'd like to see it.God I'm starting to sound like Divia. OK Blast away I probably deserve it.
  17. Current shows: Ghost Hunters,Most Haunted, Are you smarter than a 5th grader.
  18. Allegedly there was a 3 movie contract when they agreed to do the first one.So if that is true (I've heard it is from numerous sources) there is one more movie to come. Although I also heard there is a mini series coming this fall as a follow up to "The Beginning" so I don't know if that would technically fulfill the original agreement. I was told The Beginning was a pilot movie to this alleged mini series. Unless they get rid of the potty mouthed teen "American Pie" humor and sexual innuendo's and fix the characters so they are more true to the original, I could care absolutely less if there is a mini series or another movie. I'm willing to give them one more chance to get it right but I don't expect that to happen if it happens. WB seems intent on not giving a lot of us what we want. Just filling their pockets selling to a certain age demographic. As far as a 3rd and final reunion? I seriously don't see it happening. Sort of a mute point now after 2 movies. I don't see WB going backwards.
  19. Yep it's restored which I was totally against.I still feel it should have been preserved the way it was.Marvin the guy who owns it now is on this message board so I'll be as respectful as possible.Marvin I'm sorry but in my opinion Lee 1 now is just a replica with very, very few original parts on it.It would be like me using my pair of authentic General Lee tail lights in my car and try and pass it off as one used on the show. Lee 1 to me has lost all historical value in my opinion because maybe only 5% is the same car that was seen on TV.No offence Marvin it was your money and choice to restore it which is your right. It is very nice now and appreciate the dedication to make it so nice but to me it just isn't the same car. Just like say the Mona Lisa got defaced some how and the got someone to fix it exactly the way it was.It just isn't the Mona Lisa anymore.
  20. I think most of us could accept that except maybe a hardcore like me but as long as they got rid of the "American Pie" teen humor, dirty thinking.Even I would be more accepting of that.As long as they keep it true family friendly like the original something you could let say a 7 year old watch without a parent in the room.
  21. No,Lee 1 will not be there at least not as long as Ben has anything to say about it.Reason being a certain person involved with Lee 1 and Ben are NOT the best of friends to put it mildly. If you want more gory details private message me cause I don't really want to air out any more dirty laundry than what I've said so far. You probably won't see any merchandise attributed to either of the recent 2 movies there either.None of the cast from either of those movies will ever be there either.
  22. I own a General Lee replica. I found my 69 Charger in a local junkyard back in 1981.I was 17.I was so into the show I wanted a General Lee bad.Luckily mine just showed up at this junkyard and I bought it for 250$.It was Flame Red orange and had Vectors for wheels by the time I graduated highschool in 1982.In fact what I owed to my dad for the car was my graduation present. It became a General Lee in 1989 when a friend of mine who is a painter and sign maker talked me into doing it as it was a challenge for him. One of the oldest replicas out there. Here are some pics.
  23. Divia you consider yourself a fan though. So you actually agree there is a difference between a fan and a fanatic even though most definitions say they are the same. You agreeing with me? That's a first. Now I'll agree with you.Unfortunately that's all WB looks at certain demographics.I guess the 35-45 demographic, the age bracket that made the original series so popular there wouldn't be these new ones doesn't mean squat to them anymore.
  24. According to Cooters site all main castmembers are scheduled to be there again this year including Tom Wopat. I haven't been to Dukesfest since 02 the last one held in Sperryville,VA. I waited over 5 hours for Cathy in 90 degree heat + very humid conditions, not fun luckly I had plenty of sunscreen. I can't say how they are doing it this year.I have a few suggestions. Get to the facility as early as possible and find out where the signings are to be done.Pick the castmember you want most to meet and get in that line first regardless of how much longer it will be before they get there. That way you'll pretty much guarantee at least that castmembers signature. After that goodluck. You're looking at a minimal 2 hour probably more wait each for John,Tom,or Cathy. 6 castmembers into 100,000 fans = not getting all the autographs even in 2 days. The only way they are ever going to get the most people through the line is to be very strict on how many things get signed (say 2) and how much time you have to chit-chat with that castmember(very brief).I know that won't make some people happy but it'll speed up the lines.
  25. Answer to the inconsistencies in the cars.LOW Budget movie. Some of these cars I heard were donated replicas by local guys. I offered to lend them mine but I guess my terms weren't agreeable as I never heard back from them. I don't think my terms were out of line either.
