That one might be easy but it has me scratching my head. I know that the manager of the orphanage is Ira Grant and Mr Winkle works in the dog pound. He is a different Mr Winkle than the one in "The Haunting of J D Hogg". If you ever saw Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (from the early 70s I think) the kid's voice sounds a lot like Rudolph's. Here's one from "When you wish upon a Hogg". Which one of Boss's relatives visited in this episode? Hey, lukefan, if you don't get an answer soon, will we get a hint? How about the first letter.- 3,820 replies

You got it Bo, it's Sleepy City. Here's one from "Cool Hands Luke 'n Bo" When the boys went to the Osage County chain gang, they became friends with a prisoner named Charlie who had been imprisoned 6 years for jaywalking. Charlie's real name is James Avery. What popular TV comedy did he star in after Dukes? hint: he was somebody's uncle- 3,820 replies

Hmmm, now I need to go back to the episode "The Legacy" and listen a little closer. You may be on to something Bo. When Jesse said Martha died there, I don't think he said "my wife Martha" so maybe he meant his sister. I only have 5 more episodes left and will have watched the whole series (again) (I started in January). I'm going to then start working on my map and start rewatching from season one again. This time I am going to write down every relative of every character. I hope to have a database (redneck translation: lots of notebooks) that will rival MinDuke's.

Oh No, you were doing so good with these lukefan07. I guess you were overdo for a bad day since you've had so many good ones. Cripple Creek really was on the show ("Deputy Dukes") but Cripple Creek Road wasn't. Homer Hotchkiss is real and I made up Homer Sanderson. You didn't answer the episode names one (Hazzard Shuck and Jive or Nothing But the Truth). This means that the only one you got right was Dixie Deli. By the way, Cripple Creek is my favorite Tom Wopat song. Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.

You got 'em both right lukefan07. C.W. McCall sang on old truck driving song called "Convoy" that was pretty big in the 70s. (I think I got that name right) Anyway, he was never on the Dukes. Here's some more. Which were on the show? Wildcat Creek or Cripple Creek (from "Deputy Dukes") Homer Hotchkiss or Homer Sanderson (episode names) "Hazzard Shuck and Jive" or "Nothin' But the Truth" Dixie Deli or Dixie Donut Shop Cripple Creek Road or Swift Creek Road

Who is your favourite country music singer that has visited Hazzard?
RogerDuke replied to BoJamesDuke's topic in Music
Thanks for your help in posting this question Bo and thanks for not teasing me for my computer illiteracy LOL. I cast my vote for Loretta. That sweet hillbilly girl will always be the queen of country music to me. I'm gone. -
Pretty good job lukefan07, you only missed one. Berles' Auto body is near Artie Bender's. By the way, Edwin Hubble is the scientist who discovered the expansion of the Universe. He also discovered that galaxies were galaxies and not just smaller clusters of stars. The Hubble Space Telescope is named after him although he didn't design it or anything. Here's two more. C.W. McCall or Bubba Buford Rainbow Mine or Cold Valley

Yep, it was Flash to the rescue. I just saw that episode and I think it is "Moonshine or Milk" or something like that. I believe Rev J P Frawley is delivering the sermon. Rev Ed Bachman Jr used to be the preacher there but it was Frawley later in the series.- 3,820 replies

You got them both right lukefan07. Make sure you check the Amarcord thread. Maybe you can give more details on that Hazard Kentucky visit. I just noticed your two...the answers are Chickasaw County and Fortune Tellers (although I'm not positive about the second) Here's two more. Which were on the show? Someone stole it so Jesse gave him the money to buy a new one...."and you've been paying me back for years with all those great songs" (the quote went something like that) Here's one from "Daisy's Shotgun Wedding" At the end when Rosco and Boss got caught in the Beaudry's net (revenuer trap) how did they get out?- 3,820 replies
