  1. Wow Bo, that's a good one. The only one I can think of is "Baa Baa White Sheep" when Bo was with the Marine Corps Reserves. Hey MinDuke, I posted two different episodes on July 4, "Lawman of the Year" and "Dukes in Danger". (I was off work so had a little time on my hands)
  2. Hey Bo, For all we know, John checks the Hazzardnet every day. You never can tell. Remember that in addition to being an actor, he really is a genuine fan of the show so he might be on here a lot. In fact, he could be one of us pretending to be a regular fan.
  3. You're right about Miz Tisdale and the Fourth of July MinDuke. If you get a chance, go back several posts to catch the ones from "Dukes in Danger".
  4. Hey katz112, I got a good laugh out of that one. Sometimes it's funny how the same thing can have two different meanings. My favorite is this one that's been around for a long time. "They can't fire me. I'm not doing anything."
  5. In "R.I.P. Henry Flatt" Jesse rides Maudeen the mule. I know it's not quite the same but I like it!!! LOL
  6. His last name on the show is Moffitt. I think his first name might be Randy but I'm not sure. As I recall, he lives in Hazzard County but because of roads being closed you have to take a detour that takes you into another county to get to his house. Of course, that violates the boys' probation. I'm gone.
  7. Hi Daisy Mae, Welcome to the Hazzardnet. If you love Hazzard County you'll love it here. This Hazzardnet is awesome!!!!
  8. After reading another thread asking if you've ever cried during an episode, I am motivated to ask this question. If you could pick a single scene that put you in Hazzard Heaven, what would it be? I considered the opening scene from season one, episode one. I also thought of the time that the Dukes accepted Boss into their home at the end of "The Great Santa Claus Chase" but my favorite Hazzard Heaven moment came when the boys walked in the door of the Boar's Nest in "Welcome Back Bo 'n Luke". I'm smiling from ear to ear right now just thinking about it.
  9. You're right, Rosco nominated himself and the bad guys robbed a jewelry store. As for the tough question, she's a citizen of Hazzard who even had an episode named after her. The answer to the final question can be found on another (posted yesterday) thread. I'm gone.
  10. Hey Country Girl, It was nice of you to start this thread. Here's an amazing July Fourth coincidence for my fellow Hazzardites. (One of them gives away an answer on the trivia post). I saw two episodes today..."Lawman of the Year" and "Coy Meets Girl" and I could hardly believe my ears....They both mention the Fourth of July!!! What's the chances of that???!!! Amazing things like that can only happen in Hazzard County. Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.
  11. Also, here's 4 from "Lawman of the Year" easy) Who nominated himself for the award? medium) What kind of store did the bad guys rob? a) jewelry television c) CB shop d) bakery tough) Who was the secret observer for the Support Your Sheriff Committee who awarded Cletus and Enos with "Lawmen of the Year" honors at the end? Min) What holiday is mentioned in this episode?
  12. Here's 3 from "Dukes in Danger" easy) Who sang an altered version of "Old McDonald had a farm" when he thought he would be getting the Duke farm? medium) How long did it take the boys to change a tire on the General? a) 43 seconds 53 seconds c) 63 seconds tough) What fell off Boss's car at the end? If you look close you can see it was lose when he drove through the hay pile.
  13. The Ghost of the General Lee was pretty tough to watch. In fact, all these posts are good ones and I'd like to add two more that were extremly emotional but in a "tears of joy" type way.....When Bo and Luke came back from being gone a year ("Welcome Back Bo 'n Luke") and "The Great Santa Claus Chase" at the end when the Dukes accepted Boss into their home.
  14. Yea, but I'm not a big fan. I've only been to one Division I football game in my life and it was when Washington visited Michigan about 4 years ago and Michigan won in a thriller. I have a friend who has season tickets so he took me. It's awesome seeing 111,000 people in one stadium. GO BLUE!!!
  15. Make mine a buttermilk!! Hey Min, your database is indeed a labor of love. Thanks for revealing all those details...I've sure been wondering. When the show was out originally I started writing stuff for my map about the third season. Of course there were reruns and that helped but I still struggled to get it all organized Also, the geographical inconsistencies and difficult things to hear (sometimes they talked too fast) made things tough. This DVD set is great because I've been able to "rewind" things that were difficult to understand. I wish I would have thought about "Closed Caption" earlier so I could have had more acurate spellings but (as Rosco would say) "there's good news, good news!"....that just gives me an excuse to start over again. I wouldn't want inaccurate spelling on my map. By the way, would you prefer to be called Jax?
  16. Sorry MaryAnne for not explaining the question better. Of course it can be answered in either form. Hey Meadowmuffin, was that the same Rolls that was in Southern Cumforts? I seem to remember that they were the same color...or not? I'm gone.
  17. Nice job Min!!! I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'd love to see that database. How do you manage to have that much info recorded? I mean, in order to know Boss's number or the cost of that newspaper (and other such info), you'd have to pause thousands of scenes in 7 seasons!!! Unless you get the question, then watch the episode and then log on again with the answers. Either way, your dedication to the best show to ever be on a television screen is very impressive. Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.
  18. After recording items from the first 4 seasons, here is the number of things I have so far in my quest to make the ultimate map of Hazzard County. Residents (homes, not individuals) - 117 Businesses - 104 Roads - 112 Water (creeks, lakes, swamps, ponds, rivers, etc) - 56 Landmarks (canyons, caves, mountains, bridges, hollows, etc) - 124 Other Counties (towns, counties, other Bosses and sheriffs) - 44 In addition, there have been 15 Country Music stars that appeared on the show as of the first 4 seasons. I'm pretty excited about this map. I'll probably start putting it on paper (a very large poster board) in the fall. It is my dream to display it at the next DukesFest. Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.
  19. Hi Morgan, What I meant was this...to take a wheel off a car, you would turn the lug nut tool counter-clockwise. To tighten it (put it back on) you would turn it clockwise. If a nut and bolt are designed to go the opposite of that, it's known as "left hand thread". Not very many things are left hand thread so I am curious if that was an error or if 1969 Charger lug bolts and nuts have left hand threads. I'm gone.
  20. The Dukes sure had a lot of wheels on the show in their 7 years. Everybody's favorite vehicle was the General but I wonder what was everyone's second favorite. There's a wide variety to chose from....there's 3-wheelers, a rolling casino, Nascar cars, the Beaudry's beat up truck, Jimmy Carter's Presidential limo, a million muscle cars, a couple Rolls Royce's, Loretta Lynn's RV and much more. My favorite is Mis Tizsdale's dirt bike. (don't LOL, I'm serious). I'm wondering...what's yours? Possum on a gumbush. I'm gone.
  21. I think I've seen this with other episodes too but on "Dukes in Danger" I noticed that Luke was turning the 4-way wrench the wrong way. Is this an error or do 1969 Chargers have left handed threads on their lug nuts?
  22. Rosco's siren, Lulu and one million dollars are the correct answers. "The Law and Jesse Duke" hold the answer to the cost of the newspaper Chickasaw Herald. Speaking of "The Law and Jesse Duke", here are 3 from that episode. easy) Who becomes temporary acting sheriff of Hazzard? medium) Who's phone number is 555-4809 A) Boss Dukes C) Cooter tough) Who owns the Hazzard Photo Shop?
  23. As usual, right again Min (with a little assist from MaryAnne) Here's 3 from "Share and Share Alike" easy) (50-50) Who's siren is "a little higher pitched", Rosco's or Cletus? medium) Who is the president of HERS (Hazzard Equal Rights Society)? tough) How much money (street value) did the bad guys estimate their stolen credit cards were worth? Min) How much does the Chickasaw Herald (newspaper) cost? By the way, this question is not from "Share and Share Alike". What can I say, it's the Min catagory. It's not supposed to be easy. LOL I'm just thankful I'm asking and not trying to answer. If there was a Roger catagory it would be one notch easier than easy.
  24. Right as usual Min Here's 5 from "Miss Tri-Counties" easy) The 3 counties that were represented were Hatchapee, Riverton and....? medium) the 3 catagories to win the contest were driving, mechanical ability and.....? medium) what engine part did Daisy have to put together in an attempt to win the "mechanical ability" catagory? tough) Boss wanted to build a solar powered what? Min) what was the C. B. handle of the stranded motorist at the end who called in Daisy's location while she was being kidnapped? P.S. Look at the catagory that is tougher than tough. LOL. I only know one person who would dare enter that level.
  25. Hey Julie, You were probably hoping that he was from Ohio, huh? I know I liked it the two times Pennsylvania was mentioned in the series. (Penn State and the Pennsylvania Turnpike)
